had friends staying for the weekend (too many to sleep at mine) and this place is round the corner. great location, clan, tidy. Friends tell me the beds were comfortable. Will definitely use again.

Jo's place is exactly as the pictures seen and descriptions made to be. Great place and a tad big for the 2 of us. 😊 While it is able to accommodate 6 persons, there is only one toilet for those coming with big families but it wasn't an issue for us. There is also a steep flight of stairs to navigate to the sleeping places. Again not an issue for us. We just left our luggages in the living room. There is a nearby retail park within walking distance with M&S Foods plus eateries. Ample parking spaces with no need for permit. Came to watch the Merseyside derby at Anfield and it took us almost an hour to drive back. Maybe a better idea to take that leisurely walk to and from the stadium if the weather is good. 😅 Definitely worth a revisit when I am back to watch LFC play.

Would certainly recommend this place to friends coming to Liverpool. Simple to get into the centre of Liverpool on the train. Splendidly designed house, nice little touches. Just at much as exploring Liverpool centre we enjoyed exploring Wavertree and surrounding area hunting down some places Alice recommended. The food at Tiger Rock was delicious and we had the delight strolling down Lark Street/Lane (can't remember what it's called) and grabbing some food/coffee/beer.

All exactly as described. The beach is so close and beautiful. We stayed with our two children and had tickets for the legends game at Anfield and for the empire theatre. Train station is easy to walk to from the house with quick links into central Liverpool. Come out of the train station and turn left back in Waterloo and lots of restaurants, we went to the Greek one and the food and service was incredible. Just a 5minute walk from the house. Would definitely stay again as it’s a haven away from the city but still so accessible. Thankyou for adding to a great weekend.

Had an amazing time based at Greg’s property! The house itself was fantastic, lots to keep us entertained. The area is beautiful, a short walk to the beach, a BBQ smokehouse within half a mile, and a short hop to the centre of Liverpool. Couldn’t recommend it more, we would happily return in the future. Lovely, quirky, feel at home place ! …. We had such a relaxed and happy time at Gala’s place… just felt very homely and had some unique touches … loved it here as a family and really close to the centre of Liverpool

What a beautiful place to stay and a beautiful location. The cottage was immaculate, spacious and had everything you’d need for an excellent stay. Well equipped kitchen, spacious lounge, bedrooms were fresh and airy and so quiet and peaceful. Bathroom spotless with bath and shower, towels were thick and fluffy. It was a sunny weekend, we even sat in the back yard with a coffee. Brilliant hosts, instructions were clear, access was great and parking was convenient and ample. Cannot recommend this cottage and the location enough. Public transport to Liverpool and Chester practically on the doorstep.

We had a fantastic stay at Josh’s house! The place was spotless and well-maintained, making it feel very welcoming from the moment we arrived. It was easy to find, with clear instructions provided, which made check-in smooth and hassle-free. The space was comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The beds were cozy, and all the amenities were in great condition. Given the quality of the accommodation, it was an excellent value for the price. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area and would love to stay here again in the future!

Overall, our stay was good. Check in smooth, clean, responsive host, excellent location, good size living room and gated parking a bonus. Only negative was that the other residents in the building slam the doors - though we’ve experienced this at many other Airbnbs, so can’t fault the host on this. Recommend for adult couple max, no room for any kind of baby travel cot in the bedroom.

The flat was gorgeous, lush soft carpets, warm, bright, gorgeous decor and interesting books to peruse. Jane really has her eye in with hospitality and there were cookies and tea, a whole bottle of proper milk and orange juice. Lots of lovely touches that made it feel like a home from home. The location is quiet overlooking the Mersey river, which is tidal and turns into a beach in the morning! Its a short walk to the ferry over to Liverpool (if its running) or bus to train /taxi ride over to all the attractions. I would highly recommend this apartment and we enjoyed the quiet away from the city too. Thank you Jane!

My friends and I had a lovely weekend at Lydia's place. She was very responsive and helpful when we needed to contact her. The apartment was close to the station, easy to find and the check in was simple. We had all that we needed for a relaxed and peaceful stay. The secret garden is sweet and a lovely amenity to have and although we didn't need it ourselves, there was loads of space for parking. The kitchen and living room are very spacious. The king sized bed was super comfortable. The reason for our visit was to see Port Sunlight village and Lydia's place was ideal for that as it was only about 20 minutes walk away. I highly recommend visiting Port Sunlight with its art gallery, museum and varied and attractive houses. I also recommend for breakfasts the art gallery cafe and a tiny cafe called Jay's just up the road from the station in the direction of Lydia's place. The staff in Jay's were incredibly friendly and the breakfasts were delicious.

A wonderfully bright and spacious apartment. It had everything needed for a 4 week stay. Bus stop close by. Beautiful park in close walking distance.

Had a really good stay at Alison's annex this weekend. Had a small bump at check in but she was really quick and helpful to amend it. She also left us some milk and water on the fridge which was really helpful. Really glad we could stay here, especially only booking a week in advance, and would deffo recommend it

Another great stay at Holland House ! Been twice already .. will return again in the summer ! Perfect apartment location and getaway !! We just love it there !!

We had a fabulous stay. John was a great host - very relaxed, welcoming and friendly. The apartment really was beautiful- so much space & so beautifully decorated- I loved spending 2 days pretending it was mine! Perfectly located for Lark Lane and very close to the city centre, this is a place I would certainly return to and recommend!
