Our second stay here. I was a little concerned about the Western NY weather since our last stay was in the summer. I sent Josh some questions and he messaged me right back before we made the reservation. It was a cozy little home even with the brisk March winds — very happy with our stay. Thanks!

Jennifer is a lovely host with great communication. My wife and I had an amazing stay here and will most definitely be coming back. If you are looking to detach from your busy life and want to relax for bit, we highly recommend that you book this space. 10/10

As soon as we walked through the door we felt comfortable, like home. We were welcomed by fresh flowers and snacks. Holly made sure we had everything we needed and some we didn't think we needed! I have to point out how comfortable the beds were, we slept so well! We were travelling for a wedding and were not able to use all of the available great outdoor equipment for the lake, but we hope to be back!

Lovely stay close to the State Park and with a cider mill right down the street! Shawn was extremely responsive throughout the reservation process and stay.

We enjoyed Spring Break with the kids in the mountains! The weather was WILD- rainy one day, snow the next and then 70ies, luckily there was a Walmart not far and we were able to get some extra shoes for all the muddy fun we had! Plenty of grocery stores near by too. We all loved the game room over the garage, doing s’mores at the fire pit, playing board games in the basement, hot tubbing with TV entertainment and natures frog sounds. We were never bored! We even had a chance to hike their backyard- go across to the state park at hemlock lake, which was really fun and quite steep, so find a walking stick or bring poles! Coyote and bear scat was seen, but that just added to our adventure! Plenty of space throughout the house, nice and clean, comfy beds, and great washer/dryer for the all the weather we had! The house location enabled us to visit and do day trips to Lake Ontario, three other finger lakes, and Letchworth state park.

We had an incredible stay at Al’s Lazy Bear Lodge in Wayland, NY, and it’s an easy 5/5 stars! The lodge itself was extremely cozy, with excellent lighting that added to the perfect ambiance. It was incredibly well-stocked with plenty of new, comfortable blankets and towels, ample cookware, and thoughtful touches like hot chocolate and marshmallows. The wood stove, an older Jotul model, was a highlight. It did great to heat the space and was nice to have a fireplace. We especially appreciated the provided firewood. We brought a lot of groceries with us, and the spacious fridge easily accommodated everything. The surrounding area was absolutely stunning. The woods behind the lodge were peaceful, and we loved spotting deer and other wildlife during our stay. The owners were also very responsive and cordial, making the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we’re already looking forward to returning!

Jason’s cozy bungalow had everything we were looking for in a quick weekend getaway from Rochester- quiet and peaceful setting with a view of Honeyoye Lake at the end of the street, a perfectly appointed kitchen, and all the little details we loved about the listing. I can imagine it’s even better in the summer! The home was spotless when we arrive so we could get right to relaxing. Definitely recommend .

We had an amazing stay! The house was absolutely perfect—clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, which made everything so easy. I really appreciated the thoughtful touches and how smooth the whole experience was. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay!
