The location is down single lanes and we were busy reserving some of the time, but Pete’s directions were great and very clear. Hazel was very helpful on site when we tripped the electric. The site was clean and quiet, other campers were polite and friendly. The amenities were clean and functional, if a little dated. We struggled for phone signal which was prefect for switching off. Thank you Pete, have recommended your place to friends already.

A beautiful place to stay that was very comfortable for our stay (2 adults, 2 children and a dog). Located a short drive from Barmouth town and beach, it is ideally located out of the way and within a very peaceful setting. The private garden is very well maintained and looks out to sea that shows beautiful sunsets. The shepherds hut was spacious enough for our stay and had everything that we needed. Thank you Hayley and Gareth. We had a lovely weekend.

An absolute gem of an Air bnb what a phenomenal location. From the ‘big hut’ decking and hot tub, we had views out into our own private Welsh valley, lambs and chickens running around, beautiful sunset and zero light pollution so stunning starry skies every night! Peaceful, beautiful and quiet, great for exploring the stream with the kids we just can’t recommend this place enough. We didn’t even turn on the tv the whole trip. Wow what a mini break thank you so much Sioned and family ❤️

Our weekend break didn’t go to plan but the short time I did get to spend at the hut was so peaceful, it was clean, the hot tub was great all in all was a lovely place to stay, I do hope to book again in the near future and get to experience it thoroughly in all its glory.

I could not recommend this place more!The accommodation was brilliant for a weekend get away. The hut was cosy, clean, private and equipped with anything you could possibly need throughout the stay. Rachael and Alan were amazing and always helpful with any requests. The highlight was definitely the wood burning hot tub to relax and watch the stars in the evening. The location of the site is brilliant being around a 15minute drive from so many attractions and local villages whilst keeping a quiet countryside feel whilst on site. I could not fault this accommodation and I would definitely visit this place again.

We stayed at this beautiful cabin after a long hike, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, Hellie made us feel so welcome – she is such a lovely host. As a thoughtful surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday, she even left us a delicious cake, which was such a special touch! The cabin itself was cosy, peaceful, and had everything we needed to relax, including the softest, cosiest robes that made us feel right at home. Every little detail was perfect, and it’s clear how much care has gone into making this a true home away from home. We would 100% recommend staying here and can’t wait to return again – it was such a wonderful experience from start to finish!

The best Easter Weekend spent at the hut! Had everything we needed and more. Lots of little attention to detail and extras. It was 4 days we’ll never forget. Cerys was so helpful and lovely! Myself, my husband and our 8 year old had the best time and can’t recommend enough. Big thank you to Cerys’s gorgeous twin girls that were the best tour guides and friend to our daughter. We really didn’t want to go home. We’ll be back 🩷 xx

We had a wonderful stay at the hobbit house. Such a fun, quirky and memorable place to stay (especially with kids), and in a peaceful and private setting with lovely views. We loved relaxing by the fire pit in the evening and sipping our morning tea while watching the lambs in the field. Mike provided clear instructions so check-in was a doddle. Highly recommended!

Fabulous shepherds hut in beautiful surroundings, lovely and private. Trish met us on arrival to give us a quick tour and show us a walk down to the main road. Also some little treats inside the hut, which was a lovely touch.

Very happy with our stay at Phil & Paula. The place was clean and tidy with everything you need from kitchen utensils to umbrella, radio and torch light. The host is very approachable when need it. It is clearly that the host cares about their customers and property.

Louise is an excellent host and has really thought of everything. The accommodation itself was really comfortable and had everything we needed. Louise went above and beyond. There were some great recommendations on the list provided and we had a really nice dinner in the potted lobster. The views were incredible and I hope to return again

A lovely little stay in a great location - easy to get to mountains and beaches depending on what you’re after! Also many local cafes and pubs. The hut itself had everything we needed for our stay and the fire pit and sauna were particular stand out features!

We loved our stay at the hut, which was really cosy and had everything we needed. Beautiful surroundings, plenty of walks and close to the beach and Conwy town centre. Ideal for a short break and we'd definitely stay again. David and his wife were really friendly and excellent hosts.

Arrived at Tan-y-capel hideaway and was immediately greeted by our hosts Rebecca and David, both were very friendly and we felt very welcome, we were showed to the shepherds hut which is a very short walk from where you park, they do provide a clean wheelbarrow to transport your items from the car to the hut which is very thoughtful and convenient. The hut is located in its own field and is completely private, there is a flower meadow on the walk towards the hut and the view from the property is beautiful. we were provided with a bottle of prosecco and some homemade cookies upon entering which is a really nice touch and we felt very welcomed, we were left to our own devices but told to contact if we needed anything. the place was absolutely spotless and I have no complaints about cleanliness whatsoever. the hot tub was constantly on and ready to use and David showed us how to use it. The hut was plenty warm enough with heating there if needed. We also met George the Goat ❤️

Where to begin! A heavenly stay from start to finish. Stunning location, beautiful hut - clearly designed and built with love and attention to every detail. Mark and Jonathan could not have been more kind and welcoming. Sitting and watching the sunset from Elen has to go down as one of my happiest, most memorable moments. Loved the firepit and cosy wood burner. Didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back - absolutely perfect in every way. Thank you Mark and Jonathan for being so lovely. See you soon x

We loved our stay at the private riverside Shepards Hut. It is situated in the most peaceful, beautiful location away from everything, if that’s what you’re looking for. We loved being surrounded by the farm animals too. Hosts Ned and Teleri were very quick to respond and gave recommendations on places to go. The hut itself has everything you need inside along with the stove that kept us very warm! We would defiantly love to return again😊 Thank you for our stay x

We had the most incredible stay at the Anglesey Hideaway Shepherds Hut. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest welcome we’ve ever experienced. The hut is beautifully designed, peaceful, and the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Nothing could have prepared us for the tranquility of waking up to those stunning views—watching the sunrise and sunset in such a serene setting was beyond blissful. The animals on the property added so much charm to our stay, and we especially fell in love with Ozwald (my partner is still joking about sneaking him home with us!). Everyone on the Anglesey Hideaway team was so friendly and helpful, always quick to respond to our queries and full of great local recommendations, especially for places to eat. We were also greeted with fresh eggs from their chickens and freshly ground coffee, which was the sweetest touch and made us feel so welcomed. Thank you for creating such a magical little getaway. We had a glorious stay in the Shepherds Hut! Totally off the beaten track and surrounded by calving cows and idyllic lambs - my small children were mesmerised! There is everything you could need for a short break, the tea / coffee and toiletries are a great touch. Definitely more space than you think. The bottom bed / Harry Potter cupboard den kept the kids entertained for ages and is brilliant with the cubby hole and charging points. It’s actually brilliant for small children who would usually need a cot side and need darkness to sleep! We would love to come back :)
