Magical, relaxing, calming, surrounded by beauty and nature. We cannot recommend Miep and Derrywood highly enough. Our only regret is we didn’t stay for longer, but hope to be back asap. 5/5 isn’t enough, as this home and host (Miep) well exceeded all our expectations. Thank you for the most blissful and memorable stay!!!

What a stunning house in the most gorgeous area ... Mhairi's house is a complete fairytale and was perfect for myself and 11 other friends to stay for the weekend. The house was clean, stylish, and warm with a huge patio and fabulous living / dining space. We were all desperate to move in - a real dream house. It is also close to a loch and lovely swimming spots which are a short walk away from the house. We'll be recommending this place to everyone and would love to return! Thank you Mhairi for all your advice and helping us have such a wonderful weekend together :)

I booked this property for my husband and his 3 friends for his 40th birthday. Wallace was extremely communicative at all times, and was very welcoming to the group on arrival. One of the guests arrived early and while Wallace explained the place would not be ready till check in, the guest was able to fish on the loch till later in the day, and thoroughly enjoyed himself! The property was as described, perfectly clean and the location was exactly what I was looking for when I booked. It was easy to find, and the walking guides and maps of the local area were very helpful too. Would book again!

This was a lovely location and a great house. We really enjoyed our stay here made even better by the snow. Dog friendly and everything was just as described. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone.

David and Ashley are by far the best host I have ever had. Their home was very clean and as described. Just a couple of 6 minute wall to the center of town. They made sure to give us all kinds of recommendations to local attractions and restaurants. if I ever get to come back, I would book their home again.

The space was perfect for us. The kids loved the big garden and access to the beach. The house is cosy and views are breathtaking. Beds are comfortable and generally the house felt like a home for our holiday. Had great fun with the table tennis.

Having visted Rannoch Lodge and Ghillies Cottage for many, many years, it is now home from home. Yes, it's a long drive in but boy is the view worth it! Instant peace, tranquility and relaxation in a breathtaking setting. Just a minute walk to the lawn and the loch with the most beautiful firepit for warmth at all times of the year if you are happy to potter about. Alternatively there's plenty of walking from the doorstep. Supermarkets will deliver to the door but if you do forget something then the local shop is located just 20 mins away in Kinloch Rannoch. The tea room there is also recommended as is the one at the railway station - but note this one is not open out of season. The cottage as usual is always spotlessly clean and Irek is on hand if there are any issues or to answer any questions. Great communication before arrival and a handy guide supplied too. Thanks once again to Richard and the team at Rannoch Lodge for another wonderful stay.

Elizabeth’s flat was great. Central location. Parking on doorstep. Everything you needed was on hand and very clean. Would stay again and definitely recommend.

Looked just like the pictures, great amenities, very comfortable stay. From hairdryer and hair straightener, iron etc. I would definitely stay again!

As a couple with a dog seeking a weekend break Dunollie at Balquhidder was perfect for us. Cosy and spotlessly clean, in a great location for walks and the excellent Mhor84 just down the road for a superb breakfast. A perfect break for us, thank you Alison and Hannah.

Perfect location. Accommodation was very comfortable. Had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Access to the secure garden was ideal with the kids. The house was spotless. Allyson was very friendly and helpful. Really loved our time in Carrbridge - thank you so much for having us Allyson and Poppy x

Hector’s place was very comfortable, easy to access and you couldn’t beat the location. The flat is very spacious with beautiful lighting at all times of the day. Hector was great to communicate with and responsive to our inquiries. The Cafe below is an added bonus.

Our second time staying here. On arrival we were greeted by Mike who showed us around. Lovely apartment with views onto the Cloisters. We made use of the amenities onsite, and enjoyed the stunning views and historic location. We had a wonderful stay once again.

Angela's place in Findhorn is simply beautiful and we had everything we needed from the amazing location, to the accommodation itself being exactly as advertised to the way the apartment is decorated and furnished. Angela made everything very easy for us; it is true, she does reply within 1 hour and we felt so welcome when we arrived. The fire was lit, there was prosecco chilling and the lamps we already on. The bay in Findhorn is stunning and the apartment is right on the sea front. It's a short walk to the sandy part of the bay to see the seals and there is a lovely pub, The Kimberley, no more than 100 metres up the road. Everything was wonderful. I would highly recommend Angela's place and we will definitely stay there again when we return to Findhorn. Thank you again.

Just back from our family Easter weekend stay. The lodge couldn’t have been better, absolutely gorgeous, clean and had absolutely everything in it you can think of for a weekend away! Lorna was so helpful too. We will be back to stay again it was perfect

Thanks so much Jessica for hosting us on our first stop on (our version of) the NC500. We had such a wonderful time in your little oasis outside Cromarty. Perfect location for exploring the Black Isle and everything it has to offer. We were very lucky with the weather and to see dolphins almost on cue at nearby Chanonry Point. The nearby Fairy Glen falls were gorgeous and thanks for the recommendation of Big Burn Walk in Golspie, that was stunning! By far our best memories are sitting in the hot tub watching the deer in the fields, the sun go down, and bats soaring above our heads. Spectacular. Thanks so much for everything!! :)

This place was a dream for us and our dog! could not have picked a better location! was a great location to see things in the area with beautiful walks and lochs! also was a good location for getting to Skye! Lindsay also had a n amazing welcome pack which was such a nice touch for us and our dog! Lindsay was amazing and super helpful throughout! She even messaged us to give us a heads up about the northern lights being visible and allowed us to capture and see this for the first time ever! so grateful for this. highly recommend this place!

Such a beautiful area with peaceful surroundings! the cabin is so private so really feels safe and comfortable. the hosts were so friendly and we loved collecting eggs from the chickens in the mornings!

My wife and two young daughters and I had a wonderful, peaceful and soul filling long weekend here. Beautiful surroundings, only half an hour from home but felt like a whole different world. Peaceful cozy cabin, perfect for the kids with all the swings, open space to explore and the fenced in garden. We had a wonderful time and came home after an incredible adventure, would highly recommend. Only thing needing a little love is the shower set up. Great for rinsing the kids, took me right back to staying at my Grans place which I loved, but my American wife had never seen anything like it before. Made it even funnier for me to be honest! We loved it, thanks for having us.

A very beautiful and peaceful home from home, this is the perfect location for anyone to explore Scotland, we had a wonderful experience here witnessing all that the highlands and the east coast has to offer. Lots of driving at times but you can easily spend a day relaxing and taking in the surroundings at Kimberley’s stay ! Thanks for a lovely stay 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The wee love nest was so cosy and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail is like nothing I've seen before! Just such a beautiful place to be and nice little walks in the surrounding area. The hot tub was absolutely wonderful and the hosts were incredibly welcoming and easy to chat to! 100% will be back in the future!

we loved Emma's place. we were worried it might be a bit cold, but it was nice and warm even without using the log burner. it was very comfortable and in a gorgeous location. The resident sheep, dogs and cat were very friendly, and we even spotted a wild deer and a pheasant from our windows. great base to explore loch Ness and nearby areas and would definitely return. Only thing to notice is that the two single beds are up in the attic and you do have to use a ladder. not a problem at all for us (and super comfortable up there) but somehow we seemed to have missed that in the description (probably our fault). we thoroughly recommend this place and Emma was a very friendly and responsive host.
