This was our second time staying at the coziest of cottages and third time staying at one of Brent and Carla’s properties. They go above and beyond in every way! Everything is so clean and welcoming! They are so responsive and proactive. Everything is taken care of and thought of in advance of your stay. The property itself is in a great location, close to the lake. It’s quiet and peaceful. The house is a great utilization of space and has everything that you might need and more. We would not hesitate to stay again and are so excited when one of their properties are available, because we know it will be top notch!

The house was great! It had everything we needed to enjoy the long weekend. I would suggest packing water shoes for the little ones. We did not and left with a couple cuts but nothing serious.

Margie was great. She introduced herself to my son and I right when we got there. The accommodations were excellent. Beds were super comfy and everything was very clean. House sits right on a small lake in a very nice neighborhood.

This is a perfect mountain retreat for those looking to get away for peace and quiet. The views are spectacular, especially at sunset. Tim was great with Communications and responded quickly to any questions/concerns we had. Rich, the property manager, was awesome and checked in to make sure we settled in fine our first night and was only a call away if there were any issues. You're very close to Luray and Skyline Drive. There are also so many things to do at the house if you're just looking to stay in, especially during the colder months. It was just a couples trip this time but I would definitely bring my children here. Highly recommend!

This home was beautiful, wonderful, and relaxing. The view from the house is so gorgeous and secluded. You really feel like you are on vacation. Of course our host was responsive and proactive. But as a busy mom with two little kids I have to highlight how particularly child friendly this home is! We stayed upstairs which has 2 bedrooms with a jack and Jill bath in between. My boys loved having two single beds at a height they could easily get into and I loved not worrying about them falling out of a gigantic bed. There were toys in the chest of their room with working batteries! Unreal! There was a mini table and chairs. Games and books spanned multiple ages and both my 4 yo and my 6 yo found games to play. My kids are sensitive to cold water (the little one turns blue!) and the heated pool was a HUGE hit. We never even made it to using the kayaks because the kids just wanted to be in the pool. There were even pool toys. I am running out of characters for this review! We will be back!

We recently stayed at this beautiful Cabin, and it was an incredible experience! The home is perched on a steep hill, which might be a challenge for some, but the breathtaking views from the top make it absolutely worth it. Waking up to the panoramic scenery every morning was a highlight of the trip. The property itself was spotless—minus the regular wear & tear over time. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, from the kitchen to the bathrooms. The hosts clearly take great pride in keeping the space pristine. One of the best features was the hot tub. After a long day of exploring, soaking in the warm water while taking in the stunning views was pure bliss. It added such a luxurious touch to the stay! Overall, if you don’t mind the steep drive up, this place is an absolute gem. Perfect for a relaxing getaway with unbeatable scenery.

If you have the chance to go to Brightwood, Connie’s place is a can’t miss! The chalet is clean, homey, well decorated, and welcoming for a family or gathering of friends. Connie includes those little touches that make you feel at home- chocolates on the bed, extra towels, extra toothbrushes, toothpaste, and makeup remover in the bathrooms as well! Connie’s chalet is very clean and everything you need is at your fingertips. Connie was very communicative and the chalet and view was private and gorgeous. If I was ever back in Brightwood, there is no doubt that the chalet would be my first choice.

I reserve Airbnbs very often but I can say this is my favorite I have reserved. The house is beautiful and it has everything. They have really put effort in making it amazing with everything is needed. I can’t say I didn’t like something. I really loved the touch of the blankets in the baskets. We didn’t get to use the fire pit because it was raining. But we enjoyed being inside playing games. I’m already thinking about renting it in the summer. 11/10 👌

Lovely rental. The listing was exactly as described. The host responded very quickly to any questions. It had everything we needed and I felt very at home. This is an amazing location we will definitely be coming back for more fun here in the summer. The hot tub felt hot and relaxing outside even though it was so cold. 5 stars.
