Our group of six (four adults and two teens) had a great winter weekend at Dan's cabin. Dan was very responsive and we had no trouble finding the house or getting in. The driveway is steep and we were glad Dan's instructions included information about how to manage it. The house itself is beautifully decorated, spotless and very comfortable. We enjoyed making dinners, playing board games and relaxing in the hot tub. Perfect location for exploring Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave and hiking in the area. I would happily stay here again.

John, You have such a wonderful home in beautiful country. We’ll definitely be back! Not sure if you like IPA, but we left a can from one of our favorite breweries in Yellow Springs, OH. Spacious, peaceful setting for a family gathering. Clean and comfortable with a well-stocked kitchen. Close to Old Man’s Cave and the wonderful beauty of the State Park. We would enjoy returning to this property again.

A lovely place near Hocking Hill State Park. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub after long hikes and looking at the goats, horses and donkey in the neighboring pasture. The host was very responsive and came immediately to fix the internet after a storm and brought a blender when we needed one. We had a great visit and hope to return soon!

There was a snowstorm when I arrived and the temperatures dropped quickly making my cabin cold and the pipes started to freeze up. I alerted my host and they immediately made me safe and warm with an awesome new home they had recently finished. Without exception, my host was generous and accommodating.

This was our second stay at the cottage. We enjoyed our stay just as much as the first. We had everything we needed and felt at home. Excellent location, close enough to hiking, private, and quiet.

The house was beautiful, very modern and updated with great amenities. It was in a very quiet and peaceful location yet close enough to easily get to town and to all of the amazing hiking trails in Hocking Hills.

Cindy was great! I would highly recommend staying at her house, it was clean and organized, Cindy was very kind and welcoming. It was very close to uptown.

It's a bargain, 30 minutes to Hocking Hills, 20 mins to Athens. Only $39 a night for your own fully furnished studio . Includes kitchen and full size washer/dryer and flat screen tv. You can even build a fire out back in the fire pit if you wish. The hosts were very responsive to my needs. For comparison pricing most camping spots in Hocking Hills go for $30-40 a night. I will definitely be going back. BTW great hiking in Hocking Hills during the day and great restaurants in Athens in the nightime

My husband and I stayed at Idyll Reserve 5 (The North) for two nights in January and had a fabulous stay! 🌲❄️ The cabin was thoughtfully designed, tastefully decorated, and very spacious for the two of us (& could accommodate a small family easily). It had all the amenities you’d need for a cozy stay — spacious, fully-stocked kitchen (with coffee & espresso maker! ☕️), comfy couch, living room with large windows & beautiful views of the surrounding woods, walk-in double shower & soaking tub, and our personal favorites — the outdoor hot tub and sauna! Laura was extremely responsive and communication regarding check-in was the best I’ve had with an Airbnb host. We could have easily stayed several more days. Hocking Hills State Park is just a ~10 minute drive away (we did some gorgeous hiking to Ash Cave, Old Man’s Cave, and Cedar Falls all within a half day). We’re already planning our next trip back with our kids! 🥰

I would highly recommend this to anyone! This place was phenomenal and quiet and peaceful. Christine and Matt went beyond what anyone would expect. A lot of extra’s that you would not expect, like smores for the fire out back, snacks and drinks, a cheesecake, tooth paste, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Extremely clean, extra blankets, pillows, robes, many towels, this place is extra clean, quiet. There is a hot tub, and a fire pit for the relaxing evenings. We will return without hesitation. Thank you Matt and Christine you two are the best, and very appreciated more than you know. Thank you again.

What a dream it was to stay at Brenda and Deborah’s place! They were so welcoming (to the point of welcoming us in to share their delicious pot roast and chocolate cake) but they still very much respected our privacy and space. The space itself had everything we could have needed and they went above and beyond to provide breakfast, snacks, and mini toiletries in the unit. We would definitely stay here again next time we’re in Athens!

We had a great stay at Natalie’s first floor location. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was super clean. The kitchen was stocked with snacks. The fire pit was great and the grounds and animals were fun. It was an easy drive into Athens and the Dutch Creek Winery was just up the road.

My family and I booked this place last minute, and it was great! It was a very private, peaceful location with very scenic views. The location was great as it was 10 minutes from the grocery stores, and not too much further for the main hiking destinations. We also explored on the huge property. This is the first time we brought our dog on a vacation, and they had bowls, treats and toys already set up for him to make him feel right at home. The host Katie was really responsive as well and was able to provide local fishing holes and baseball fields to get practice in. Would definitely go back.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in Stephen’s home. Beautiful, clean, and spacious. Just wish there was a tv in the main living space so we could have watched the ball drop from the living room. We would love to stay again.

My family loved our stay at The Carpenter's Cabin! My daughter said, "I can tell the owners really love kids!". They loved the special spaces made especially for them, especially the book nook in the loft. We loved the peacefulness and tranquility of the space, the thoughtful, natural designs and the overall aesthetic. It was calming and restorative, just what we needed!

Grace was a fabulous host! She has a beautiful place! Fully stocked in ways you wouldn’t expect! Clean area, lots of extra blankets! Clear instructions, organized, lots of games! Hot tub was wonderful especially with all of the solar lights! It was such a pleasurable stay! Our dogs loved it as well! We will definitely stay again!

We had a great weekend stay! Very relaxing and cozy cabin. We were able to check in early, and the owners were very kind! We had everything we needed to cook meals and we were close enough to restaurants and fun things to do. We would definitely stay again!!

Myself and 2 girlfriends spent the weekend in this cabin. We each had our own bedroom, as the cabin sleeps eight, so - we were more than comfortable. The wood burning fire place was a highlight. The hot tub was super clean and well maintained, which is not always the case. Beds were quite comfortable. We made two meals in the cabin, and had a few meals elsewhere. Pizza Crossing was very yummy! The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils and dishes, though you won't find items like paper towels and tinfoil, for instance, so - take your own if it will be needed. We all agreed it was a lovely place, and we'd stay there again with no hesitation.

My family and I love this place so much! we plan on returning for many years to come. The property is so beautiful and vast that there isn't ever a time that we were bored.

Went here with a group of friends. Plenty to do at the cabin. Very clean. Very peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend!
