This house was perfect for my family of 5 adults / teenagers. Lots of space, fabulous setting and super comfortable. The 4 bathrooms were great AND the sauna and jacuzzi was perfect after skiing all day. Kitchen was very well equipped so we could cook some meals and eat in - a treat while travelling. We loved the area and Jari was an excellent host - so helpful and responsive for our needs. We saw the Northern lights from the balcony and kitchen - SO magical! Thank you Jari - we will recommend you to all of our friends in Aus. 💖

One word amazing. Truly amazing, the house is like your own private hotel with its additional beautiful chalets outside, its tepee, its oversized kitchen. The host is a true bnb host, always there for you, friendly, welcoming, reactive, a new friend. The location is beyond amazing only 30 minutes from the airport, 20 minutes from the ski resort and 5 minutes to a restaurant, a sauna. All tracks are near the house going to its door steps. And the cherry on the cake it is the best location for Northern lights. No light pollution, no direct neighbour we saw them it is was one of the most memorable time of my life. I will come back for at least 3 weeks to a month stay. It was hard to leave and I can't wait tp go again and again !

Very nice villa, very good location, close to the town centre, close to the hill top which can see aurora easily, Villa was huge, cleaned, warmth, kitchen was well equipped!

Thank you for all, we had an awesome stay in this lovely place ! We loved this experience in the forest, don't worry there's nothing to fear ! It is very beautiful, well equipped and we felt comfy even during winter. The house is enough far from the city to feel alone in the nature, but not too far neither, to easily go to the supermarket for example. We totally recommend it!

The Airbnb is exactly as described and complete with a sauna. Maria was so kind and hospitable. The home was spacious, clean, and well stocked. We had a lot of fun trying Finnish liqueurs Maria had in the house for guests! The back yard leads right to the frozen river which is great for snowshoeing and morning walks. At night we were lucky to see the aurora right through the living room window. Maria went above and beyond to be a good hostess and even when we had car trouble she helped us resolve the issue. I can’t say enough positive things about our experience here. I would stay here again in a second!

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft. Die Lage direkt neben dir Piste ist toll, auch zum Supermarkt sind es nur wenige Schritte. Die Kommunikation mit Minna lief immer schnell und zuverlässig ab. Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen:)

De rit naar Saariselka was al adembenemend. We hadden van tevoren contact gehad met Jenny. Ze was snel met reageren en heeft ons geholpen daar waar het mogelijk was. Ze heeft zelfs een restaurant voor ons gereserveerd. Het huisje van Jenny is een idylisch huisje. De bedden waren opgemaakt. Alles was schoon en de sauna was heerlijk. Alles was in het huisje aanwezig, zelfs shampoo en vaatwastabletten. Overal was aan gedacht. Ook sleetjes in de schuur waren aanwezig. We hebben gerodeld, geskied, een excursie met fatbikes en ook een excursie met de huskys gedaan. Het was een onvergetelijke reis, ook voor onze kinderen van 16 en 18 jaar. Superbedankt Jenny 🧡. We gaan deze reis nooit vergeten!

Localisation : superbe endroit isolé près d'un lac. silence apaisant. Belle nature. Il faut être en voiture. Le logement est très cozy surtout le soir avec le type d'éclairage. Pour cuisiner, il y a un poêle à bois ancien avec plaque en fonte et à côté une plaque à induction. Donc si vous voulez cuisiner avec plus de 2 casseroles, l'induction ne suffit pas. Magnifique poêle de masse qui permet de belles flambées et facile d'utilisation. Un mode d'emploi très bien fait est fourni. Sauna à bois ce qui est plus agréable que le sauna électrique, super odeur de bois. On n'y prête pas attention sur le plan mais il faut passer par la terrasse donc l'extérieur pour aller du séjour à la salle de bain et wc. Cela se fait très bien même la nuit :) par -15°. C'est original et on se sent encore plus en Finlande !! Accessoires de cuisine en nombre suffisant, bonne literie. Rideaux occultants à toutes les fenêtres. On s'y sent bien. Nous recommandons ! 😊

Es war noch schöner, als wir es uns vorgestellt hatten- wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wären gerne länger geblieben. Das Haus ist ein absoluter Traum, die Umgebung genauso... Es war eine tolle, friedliche Auszeit für uns!
