This was an absolutely beautifully thought out vacation home. Immaculately clean, spacious kitchen, comfortable beds and linens. Age range of the guests was from 20 months to 72 years old, and we all had a great time. The tucked away play space upstairs was a HUGE hit with the kids. LOTS of unbreakable dishes and child friendly utensils and cups. We had a movie night upstairs with everyone on the wonderful sofa sectional. Bunk beds were a hit too. I couldn't believe that the lake was 2 steps out the door. The lake was frozen during our stay, but it was fun to see the geese and even a river otter on the ice outside the window. Responses to the few questions we had were within a minute or two. Very helpful and friendly. The family is looking forward to coming back in the summer to take advantage of the wonderful lake front location.

Great place to stay for a quiet getaway with my husband. Quiet and peaceful, yet just 10 minutes from downtown CDA restaurants, parks & shops. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with windows on all walls to see the beauty outside. We enjoyed sitting in the gazebo watching the sun go down and the boats go by. Katherine was always available to help with any questions and local recommendations.

This lake side residence is truly a 10 star luxury property. The home is immaculately furnished with high end features and fixtures. The bathrooms are spa like and the kitchen would be the envy of a Michelin starred chef. The remote location on the lake ensures the utmost privacy with virtually non-existent boat traffic which enhances the day time activities such as water skiing, wakeboarding, swimming or just floating on inner tubes. Peaceful evenings are ideal for dinner on the expansive deck and star gazing late at night. My family had an incredible experience at this home and will be back next year for more fun and adventures.

Everything was perfect. Very quiet neighborhood. This was our second stay at Michael & Isela's place. Both visits were great! If we're up this way again, we'll look you up.

Thank you for hosting us on our stay. It was a beautiful home, clean and close to everything my group and I wanted to do! Had a wonderful amount of sleeping areas and perfect for a group of friends or family!

The apartment is in a bit of a valley, which gives an extra sense of privacy and there are a lot of trails in the area for you to enjoy if you’re an outdoorsy person. While you have a very rural feel here, it’s not very far to town. The apartment has everything you need for a getaway, including an electric fireplace and all appliances. Pantry has some basic spices and oils. For those that prefer using cast iron like me, there is a medium sized one provided. The spacious bathroom has a tub/shower combination, which is great if you love a bath or have little ones. The main bedroom has a walk in closet and a desk for your laptop or projects. The second bedroom is right next to the main and is of an average size with good sized closet. The family leads an active lifestyle and you may see/hear them from time to time, but the guest will typically have complete privacy. All in all, if you enjoy a natural setting and responsive hosts, I do recommend renting from Megan and Tom.
