Tina and Steve were great. Their house is in a wonderful location with amazing views from the deck. I can just imagine how beautiful it is in the spring and fall. Monteagle itself is small but we had great food at The Mountain Goat and at Papa Ron’s Pizza and Italian Steak House.

The place was everything we could have hoped for for a couple of two stressed nurses needing a getaway to destress.

For this stay I traveled with my elderly parents to visit my children at nearby Covenant College. The location was ideal, only minutes from the college. My mother is legally blind, and she appreciated the brightness of the house and the lights. My father has mobility limitations; he walks with a walker. He had absolutely no problem getting into the house and navigating inside. The sturdy chairs with arms were a major plus. The place was immaculate and the host thought of every detail. There were several options for coffee and tea, a filled Brita filter in the refrigerator, and detergent pods in the laundry room. Those extra touches really made our stay convenient. The rooms are well apportioned and the beds are extremely comfortable. In short, the place is ideal. I highly recommend this Airbnb.

Amazing little home in a peaceful setting. House was cozy & comfortable. Spent most of the time outside enjoying the porch & hot tub. House was clean & had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Location is great for quick drives to the Caverns & so many trailheads. Communication prior to my stay & throughout was clear with easy to follow instructions. This home is perfect for R & R!

Our stay at the Whimsical Waterfall cabin was idyllic. The cabin was just as adorable as the photos and our kids loved the loft and all the themed paintings. The decorating was so cute and clever, there were fun touches everywhere you looked. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed. Having the outdoor living space with fireplace was so lovely and we spent a lot of time enjoying the sound of the creek waterfall and crackling fire. Our kids enjoyed the game room and we enjoyed drinking coffee with a view of the creek on the deck above it. I would recommend to all my friends!

Good place to live and provides all the necessary essentials

Very nice cabin on the Brow. One thing I look for in a cabin rental is a wood burning fireplace. Gas logs are becoming commonplace in rentals, but nothing beats a real fire. The fireplace draws nicely, and including firewood for the stay is a nice feature. Although there was fog and rainy weather the entirety of my stay, I can imagine the views are very nice, especially in winter. Host was very communicative, instructions were clear, and I had no reason to reach out with questions or requests.

Great location and great space with all the comforts of home. Very close proximity to Southeast Lineman Training Center which was a big plus for us. We will definitely stay again.

We will be back. This is one of those finds you don’t even want to tell anyone about. Only because you don’t want people to ruin it or drive the rates sky high. Our boys are already asking for a summer trip. The best part. We were able to take our family dog with us. THE POOL. The train crossing the river. The beautiful cabins. The huge wood shed. The iron detail on the porches and fire pits. The goats, chickens and ducks at the barn. We truly loved this place. Felt like home to us. The owner and his brother pulled the good ole boys move and helped us escape the icy mountain roads after the snow storm. We owe them one for sure.
