We had a lovely stay at Oak House. Andrew and Anne sent welcome messages before we arrived so we felt prepared and excited for the trip. The lock box worked well for self check in. The house was homely and comfortable and just as shown on the pictures. The kitchen was really well equipped and the dining table overlooking the garden was nice. The beds were comfy and the house was really clean and tidy. I would definitely recommend this property and would also recommend Andrew and Anne as hosts.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was homely with everything you need. The Lord Nelson pub was just perfect with some very friendly locals and a great pint! Ingrid and Ric were thoughtful hosts who provided us with useful local information and a pint of milk to make a cup of tea at the end of a long journey! A lovely village and an amazing cottage.

We enjoyed our stay and felt very comfortable and relaxed in the cottage. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and more. There was a great shower with plenty of hot water, the beds were very comfortable. We were able to park the car directly outside the front door and Martin left the parking permit for us in the front room. The cottage is situated just a few minutes walk from the main town centre which allowed us easy access to the shops and restaurants. I would like to stay again in the future.

We booked really last minute and Bethan as great. Very quick and clear communication. House was exactly as described and worked perfectly for what we needed. The bathroom is a particular highlight, very clean, nicely decorated with a great shower and bath. We will definitely look to stay again whilst visiting family in the area.

A gorgeous stay! Exceeded our expectations. All the nice little touches, like the freshly baked goodies, ample teas, coffees, hot chocolates and marshmallows, really added to the experience. The property is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is really peaceful and not far to walk in to Holmfirth centre. We would definitely visit here again!

As always cottage, was beautifully clean and prepared for us and our dog. As we ate in this time were impressed that all the utensils needed were there, hosts were as attentive and welcoming as always. Highly recommend the cottage and will definitely be returning.

We stayed here for my mums 60th birthday. We had 5 couples and 2 small children. It was fantastic. House was beautiful. Location was quiet and peaceful but lots of things to do in the surrounding areas. House itself was well equipped, my 3 year old loved the train set in the living room and the childrens books. Lots of places to sit and relax, as well as all being able to sit together and eat as a family of 12. Garden was suitable for dogs however we decided to leave ours at home for a more stress free weekend. We did make use of the garden and the beautiful view by hiring a photographer to capture the weekend. Thank you for a brillant stay.

Excellent accommodation and even better hosts. The accommodation was as expected from the pictures, very warm and had everything you need from an amenities perspective. I feel it would benefit from a larger duvet though as my wife and I were taking it in turns stealing the duvet through the night, the room was warm so wasn't too big of a deal though. Shower is powerful and very nice! We found the decking was very slippery due to the ice so it would be good if some gritting salt was nearby. Location wise it's 30seconds walk to the sites cafe and pool/gym and the site itself is just a short drive to Grassington, Burnsall and Skipton. Lots of great walks, we would definitely recommend the Grassington-Burnsall walk as it's one of our favourites. Our stay was unfortunately cut short due to local weather warnings for snow and when we contacted the hosts, they was very accommodating, even providing a very fair refund as it was out of our control.

Easy to locate, but couldn’t find the reception to check in, maybe worth putting a big sign up. Once checked in at the pub/restaurant, which was lovely inside and had an outdoor seating area, where there was 3 deers wandering around, the staff were very welcoming and friendly On entering the estate it was clean, tidy, well spaced out and inviting. Our lodge was easy to find and could park right outside the door, making unloading the car a joy. The lodge was clean, spacious, warm when needed, well equipped, tastefully decorated, bath and shower in bedroom, we loved it. The hot tub was out of this world, it wasn’t warm, but hot! And the jets were powerful. I was floating around not a care in the world watching so many stars, as there’s no light pollution. If you’re going to eat at the restaurant, please go well before 7pm, as it closes Very early and we missed out. All in all, we would most definitely go back, for the lodge, hot tub, peacocks, deers, peacefulness and location.

Had a lovely stay at Julie and Steve’s place, the caravan was clean, cosy well equipped and perfectly situated within the campsite. The swimming pool onsite was lovely and warm and at the time we went not too busy. The area and the scenery is lovely with plenty of local walks but also close enough to Manchester and Blackpool to add variety.

Took our parents here for Christmas and it was perfect. The cabin is spotless, excellent quality bedding and dishes. Really were able to make ourselves home. The kitchen is beautifully equipped, Christmas dinner was a complete success. Our hosts were really lovely and despite having an issue with the electricity, Jeremy made it his priority and had it sorted out in no time with minimal disruption to us. The site itself is a little run down but they are in the process of updating it. Twin room was a little smaller than it looked in the photographs but everything else was exacts you see it. I would definitely recommend this location for walkers.

It was incredible!!! Stunning views, our stay could not have been any better. We all had a wonderful holiday. Pool, hot tub, tree house, lots of space for children to run and play football. Just fantastic. Thank you to Alan for coming to our aid when we put key into wrong door & got it stuck. Thank you David for everything!!!!

This caravan was a perfect getaway—cosy, spotless, and in a fantastic location. The on-site pool was a great bonus, and the beautiful starry night made the stay even more special. The on-site pub food was really good too! Thank you for a fabulous weekend —we made lots of wonderful memories. Would definitely recommend! xx

Booked a last minute 2 night stay. The place was lovely and clean and had lots of useful thing already there like washing up liquid, kitchen towel and soap in all the bathrooms. The swimming pool was really nice, you have to book a timeslot with reception. Rafal, the host, was very responsive and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We loved our time here, surrounded by nature - and lovely isolated place for a reset. Hoping to come back at some point, possibly for a winter getaway. Everything was dead easy - parking, self check-in, location, lodge itself, just very easy and homely. Highly recommended.

Alison couldn’t have been more helpful. The flat was cosy and comfortable, well stocked with both fresh and frozen food and our host had left us complementary bread, milk, butter, biscuits and other essentials which was very thoughtful. Altogether a very positive experience. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay at The Red Door again.

Exactly as described in a quiet street 10 min walk along the canal top path or road into town. Very clean with everything you need f weekend n Skipton and surrounding areas. Will return

The cottage was just perfect for what we needed. Great location to visit Skipton and up to Malham Cove. The accommodation was extremely clean and very cosy. Felt really at home and great to come back and relax after a days adventures. Mel and Jason were really helpful and responsive to all our questions. Great way to spend our NYE, the cottage was so peaceful and private. Great space for the dogs to run in the garden, weather weren't on our side but the house was fully equipped and had games too so that it didn't matter! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be looking to book again!

Our stay was lovely. Property was beautiful perfect location for our plans and the communication before and after was great. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The photos and description of this spectacular place do not do it justice. If you are looking for a rustic, windswept escape, you could not do better than this. Our flight was delayed, and we only got to spend one of our two booked nights, so we did not get to explore the area as much as we wanted. We truly hope to come back someday.
