We had a really lovely relaxing stay. Warm and cosy house, comfortable beds and everything we needed. 6 women in their 40s/50s just catching up in comfort. We have been meeting up in large houses all over the country for 7 years, and this is the first house we have talked about rebooking for next year! Wonderful hosts and home.

Darren's place was tranquil, rural and a peaceful setting. The wood burning stove was lit when we arrived and kept the place super cosy. The place was very clean and comfortable. Darren was very helpful with any requests, would highly recommend 👍👍👍

Ken’s place was in an excellent location and the perfect base to see everything that we wanted to. Very clean and Ken was very responsive and helpful.

We had a lovely stay at Barbara's wonderful family home. If you have children, then this place is a wonderland for them. Ideal place for a group with children. The boys bedroom is ceiling to floor books, and the playroom and extra loft play area, complete with every toy, activity imaginable were an absolute treat for our kids. Especially as the weather was so bad! They were entertained no end. You will need to supply your own toiletries, and we bought our own water as there was a strong metallic taste and smell from the water in the kitchen, and the water in Galway tends to be hard anyway. A home away from home. Ideally located for exploring Galway and Connemara. Standhill Beach is nearby and beautiful! Barbara was a very responsive host. Our children did not want to leave! Nous avons passé quelques jours dans la maison de Mary - qui est immense ! chacun des trois enfants avait son espace, parfait quand on voyage longtemps tous ensemble! Nous avons beaucoup aimé le coin et pu randonner dans le Burren. il y avait tout ce dont on pouvait avoir besoin dans la maison et Mary qui n'était pas disponible pour notre arrivée avait laissé toutes les instructions nécessaires. elle a été très réactive pour répondre à mes questions par SMS. Le jardin est clos, sécurisé pour les enfants. petit bonus : des chemins forestiers à proximité pour ceux qui aiment courir :) (ou juste prendre l'air dans un bel environnement)

Une très bonne location que je recommande. La maison est spacieuse et parfaite pour 6 personnes. L'environnement est top, calme et entouré de champ. L'accès à Galway est direct. Un emplacement adapté pour un séjour avec des visites au nord et au sud de Galway (Connemara, moher...).sSimon est un hôtel très sympathique et réactif. Merci encore.

was a lovely location, sea down the road, village had food, friendly cafes and fun stuff to do. fireplace wasn't working but the landlord told us in advance and the heating was perfectly warm for the weather we had. couldn't have been more helpful and communication was excellent.

We loved our stay in Cashel. Justin's house is unique, comfortable, and he is very responsive and communicative. We had such an easy time getting in and getting comfortable, only to realize when we looked out the front windows we really did have the most spectacular view of the Rock of Cashel as well. Justin went out of his way to swing by once we got settled, and make sure we were comfortable (temperatures were freezing that night). We had a wonderful night, and were recharged for more adventuring in the morning. I highly recommend you check this place out on your next trip, you will not be disappointed.

Edel was a brilliant host to me. So helpful and responsive. She was very accommodating with my late check-in time and generously offered me a lift into town. The home was spotlessly clean and had everything I could need. I would very highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful location - Anne’s accommodation is so lovely. Clean and inviting - Anne had breakfast food -bacon, eggs, sausages, fresh bread, yoghurt and fresh fruit waiting for us in her fridge… a very warm welcome. We couldn’t have asked for more. We had a lovely short stay at this peaceful retreat away from it all. The apartment was very clean and decorated in a lovely style. A lot of love has gone into the cottage and the story of the renovation was interesting. We were made very welcome by Adrian and Elaine and especially appreciated the lovely basket of goodies and breakfast. We really enjoyed sitting out in the morning sun and hearing nothing but the birds. It is a short walk from the easy but wonderful Clare Glens walk. Thank you for a lovely stay.

I strongly recommend a stay here with Irene and Dave. From the moment we arrived we were made feel very welcome. The apartment is beautifully decorated and the kitchen is outstanding, with everything you would need to make a meal. We got a takeaway from Sanjay s Indian restaurant in Birr, which was delicious. We were keen to get back to the apartment and light the stove. Dave gave us a tour of some of the fabulous grounds which he has been rewilding for years. He also directed us to some wonderful walking trails as well as filling us in on the history of the house. The gorgeous dogs need a special mention! A return visit is being planned already . We had a fantastic two-night stay in this idyllic location. I would highly recommend it to anyone. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

The cabin was beautiful and very private, the fire was lit for us arriving which was a lovely touch. Roy was very helpful with directions, welcomed us at the car park and transported our luggage to our cabin which was greatly appreciated. Roy was very friendly, welcoming and responsive. The cabin is well designed and in a very peaceful location, just what we were looking for. The nature sanctuary was full of history and we enjoyed interacting with the animals on site. Roy gave us some recommendations of local things to do and places to eat which was very helpful. This is a great place to stay and we really enjoyed it! Thank you Roy for your hospitality.

Patricia makes amazing scones fresh milk and butter in fridge great as we had been travelling all night and didn’t have time to stop. Beautiful location and as myself and my son are keen golfers some amazing courses within 40 mins drive. Will definitely be back in summer. The lodge was cosy and well kitted out looking forward to a barbecue in summer. Thanks again Patricia
