We stayed at Bethany's house with 10 adults/teens + kids for Thanksgiving. The house was very comfortable for that size. We were there for Thanksgiving and generally had what we needed for cooking (only three wine glasses though) and grocery only 10 minutes away. We loved having two spaces to hang out and the pool table was a hit. The bedrooms had decent curtains to sneak in some afternoon naps. The house is well furnished, the beds were comfortable and Bethany was super helpful with any questions.

Great place, lots of rooms, amazing view of the water. We loved sitting on the gazebo dock and watching the sunset!

A group of us stayed at Kate and Zack’s lovely house on Lake Anna this weekend as we had a nearby trail race. Beautiful house!! So spacious, so comfortable, gorgeous views, loved the fully-screened porch, even in the winter! We finished one of the puzzles PLUS one we brought (left it for future guests!) Loved our stay - thank you so much!!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb for our family Christmas get together. The home was super cozy, clean, and spacious, providing the perfect setting for our family to eat, play games, relax, and create memories. It was easy to feel right at home, and there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy each other's company. The living rooms were comfortable, and the kitchen was perfect for preparing and serving our large meals. Even though it’s winter time, the backyard and lake were still a beautiful setting for group photos. We can’t wait to come back in the summer to fully enjoy it! Andy was also very communicative and provided clear guidance. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate Christmas with our loved ones! Highly recommend for family gatherings.

I would definitely stay here again in the warmer months. The house was beautiful and the views were unmatched. We were a party of 10 and there was still so much more space and empty rooms. We went for a morning hike and played volleyball, walked to the lake, etc. This was extremely responsive! He is a great host

I would rate this house a 5 out of 5. The house looked just like the pictures . It was very clean . The host was very responsive, she was great. My family enjoyed the fire place located on the side of the house . There appeared to be a spider issue in the house . We saw a couple and had to kill them. The shower in the basement was very small. Besides that my family and I had a great blended thanksgiving and would definitely rent again . Thank you for everything Angela !!!

This was the best airbnb we have stayed in. We celebrated Thanksgiving with 11 family members (7 adults and 5 kids) and there was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and everything we needed. The house was very clean and comfortable and the view of the lake was incredible. I enjoyed watching the sunrise on the dock in the morning. We will definitely be back. Thanks for much for having us!

House was fantastic and clean! The pictures are great but do not capture the true feeling of this spacious house. Love all of the spaces to gather! From the front porch, fabulous large kitchen and open living area, cozy back porch, open deck, fire pit and floating dock with awesome sunset views!! Perfect floor plan for family gatherings with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom on each side of the house. Great location close to the state park, groceries, restaurants - all while being right on the lake!! Wish my stay was longer and will definitely keep this house on my list of favorites!!

We had a perfect stay with Kim! The cabin was exactly as advertised and it was a great place to hole up over a cold weekend. My toddler daughter got to play with the cats and feed the horses that are stabled there. My husband enjoyed the rustic setting and the breweries nearby. And I got an amazing prenatal massage on-site. It's a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a little peace and quiet.

Stayed December 23-27 2024 to close out the year, host the holiday and meet my mom 1/2 way to Monticello for a special tour at nighttime. This was a prime location. Loved it. Dogs had a great time playing with horses and meeting cats. Kim provides a solid experience and a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend if you can book this place and you’re in the area.

Upon arrival at this house in Mineral, VA, we noticed the house's openness, beautiful décor, and thoughtful aesthetics, which reflected a perfect blend of comfort & style that immediately made us feel at ease. The house was clean & amenities well-stocked (as described) ensuring there were no unpleasant surprises. Bedrooms were comfortable; beds were cozy, allowing us to enjoy restful nights. The house layout was perfect for socializing for a large group & we comfortably hung out. The KITCHEN exceeded all expectations -equipped with various appliances, stainless steel pots, pans (& nonstick) & loads of small items – This level of stocking made meal prep enjoyable rather than a chore, helping us create lasting memories over shared meals. minor drawbacks— a few rooms were a bit chilly (extra blankets were readily available) & the hot water supply was somewhat limited – this was minimal compared to the overall enjoyment we experienced. Our Valentine’s weekend stay was absolutely beautiful! The cozy atmosphere, paired with the sound of rain on the tin roof at night, made for such a relaxing experience. We also had a blast getting to know all the animals outside, they were so much fun to spend time with! Everything about this stay was peaceful and memorable. Highly recommend! Also try Macs Kitchen and Catering & Bethels Brews and Bites, so delicious.

Beautiful home and property. Very spacious with lots of accommodations and amenities. Our family had a wonderful time and will definitely return again. Would reccommend to anyone looking for a private get away.

Had a wonderful time with family at the Bat Cave. The home was exactly as described. Plenty of space for everyone. The only minus I have is that the Wifi wasn't working when we arrived, however they responded back quickly and was able to send someone out the following morning. I definitely will stay again

This was a great place for our needs! 5 girlfriends drove from 2-3 hours away for a girl's weekend. The layout of the house, kitchen, and living room suited our needs just fine. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean, which is all we ever ask. The were 2 things that were only very slightly bothersome, but not enough to turn us away from this place again. One, there wasn't a lot of lighting available in the living room and we had to get creative with the 2 lamps that were there. The other thing was we didn't realize there wasn't a bathroom in the basement. I am sure if I looked more closely at the photos, I would see that, and again it wouldn't deter us from staying there again, but if we had our kids with us, it would be a hinderance. Overall, it was a wonderful weekend! We enjoyed building a fire in the fireplace while it stormed outside and getting cozy on the couch. There was plenty of space for all 5 of us to spread out, read books, and enjoy each others company.

We had a wonderful stay at the house. The kids absolutely loved fishing the lake from the shore and using the jon boat and had a lot of success the first 2 (warmer) days. Brad was so kind to stop by and help them get the boat set up and give pointers on fishing. We also enjoyed exploring some of the property on foot and in our vehicles. The house is rustic but very comfortable and had everything we needed. We all loved sitting by the fireplace to warm up in the evening. My kids are already asking if we can go again next year for Thanksgiving 😊

The place was exactly what I was looking for in an inexpensive quiet retreat.

This Airbnb was spacious with very comfortable beds! I think, in the off-season, it could be a tad cheaper, but it was close to shopping, the vineyard, and the state park.

It was everything we were looking for and perfect for our weekend trip. Would recommend!

We absolutely loved staying at this Airbnb. It is a working farm which was meant we got to visit with the goats, pigs, ducks, chickens & cows each day. We also got to walk down to their pier at Lake Anna and enjoy the beautiful scenery. We loved waking up to the farm each morning and looking around from the balcony. The nights were so clear we could see the stars perfectly. Ben gave us a tour of the property when we arrived, gave us some homemade salsa from their garden (very delicious!) and made us feel very welcome (even sent us alternate directions to the property when the road nearby was shut down due to an accident). We were able to host Thanksgiving with our local family very comfortably. Thank you, Ben & Nicole for being such great hosts! We definitely recommend this property!

Maple Grove is a perfect weekend get-away. The fresh country air, the perfectly curated and cozy apartment, and that king size bed with the mattress topper were exactly what the doctor ordered. My little pooch also enjoyed all of the smells of the farm, and I enjoyed meeting sweet Jackson and Maeve. We mostly stayed in, read, cooked, and relaxed, which is precisely the kind of reset that this middle school teacher needed! Alice was a very responsive and friendly host, I would highly recommend staying with her the next time you need a retreat from the city.
