Very nice and peaceful area short walk to the beach and the host was very responsive to all my questions

I really enjoyed my time. This really feels like a private beach and it’s spot on the beach is perfect. I went with my two young children and this was by far my easiest beach trip with kids. The balcony is larger than it looks and I enjoyed naps there listening to the waves. We were able to build a bonfire on the beach and honestly I saw less then 6 people walk the beach the entire time. I saw 1 boat and many dolphins. If you’re looking to disconnect this is the place. The hosts are great and while they’re remote they do all they can to make sure your time there is great. I will definitely be back.

Lovely Host with an amazing home and two fluffy kitties. D’Ellen offered us a room in her home after we had booked the outside pad because she knew it was too hot to camp out in our tent. She is super genuine and had very good stories and art pieces. She also recommended a delicious restaurant for us to have dinner at. Overall, she was the most of affordable listing in Lake Charles. I 100% recommended this!

We have stayed at this Air B&B several times and always have a wonderful and relaxing stay. Kristi has always been very responsive and quick to fulfill and request we have had. It is a perfect place for a family gathering. The kitchen is fully stocked with any appliance you would want. The beds are comfortable. It’s always clean. You can’t find a more beautiful lake sunset on Toledo Bend. We enjoyed sitting out on the massive deck and playing dominos and Uno. I highly recommend staying with Kristi. We will definitely be back.

David's place is one to remember. All of the kids said it was a five star. My middle son travels. He has stayed in many airbnb 's and he said this one was the best one ever. It had everything a kid could ever want. He said when he has kids he will be bringing them here.

ReelLucky is a beautiful home featuring incredible water views. Large patio with comfortable seating looking out at the water. Host offers cages for crab catching and everything you would need once you catch them. We loved the time we spent there. Just remember to stop at a grocery store while you are still in the heart of New Orleans. 15 to 20 min drive to nearest store from the house. We loved returning to ReelLucky’s tranquil setting after spending time in the chaos of the French Quarter.

Karen is so sweet, outgoing, & welcoming. She introduced herself our first morning there. We her talking to several guests. Checks in with every others to ensure their stay is going well. Rooms are recently renovated & very clean. We have 1 suggestion. Room 7 could use an extra mirror. My wife & mother-in-law had to share the bathroom mirror in the mornings. Maybe 1 more in general space of living room/dining room. Otherwise, great place & would stay again.

We were looking for an off the beaten path place to stay and that is exactly what we got! It was quiet and peaceful! The sunrise and sunset from the porch were breathtaking! The Jo was very accommodating and was great to work with! We will definitely be staying there again!

I enjoyed my visit very much. The suite was nicer than the photos. It was in the woods, but with easy access to the main road through Folsom. The neighbors I saw while driving to the suite were all friendly. The suite was very quiet and had all the amenities one could ask for. The decor reminded me of an English Garden cottage. I found the visit very calming and peaceful. I slept well, which is important to me.

I have stayed at several of these individual “cabins” and they are all clean, comfortable and conveniently located. I highly recommend!! Bonnie is super responsive and VERY FRIENDLY.

This home is amazing, the beds to the kitchen is everything you would have at home. However, Cell service is not great and the home does not have WFI so streaming does not always work!

Many times that I have done an Airbnb, I have been really disappointed with the reality of pictures vs the actual. Not in this case at all. It had nice furniture, new appliances, VERY clean and bright. All the beds were super comfortable (even the sofa/sleeper). This is a great place to stay for a couple of people or small family. I was here with my son for a Father/Son fishing trip and it was a perfect stay. We ate in every night and enjoyed it. Sat out on the front porch after supper with a nightcap. Also Craigs wife Melissa was super responsive as I lost my key in the water while fishing and she walked me through it. I HIGHLY recommend this place. You won't be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our stay. We had 4 grandchildren ages 5-11 with and they had so much fun. We are a family that likes to go fishing and really enjoyed going to Elmer's Island, surf fishing and spending time on the beach. We went pier fishing in the evenings and caught a lot of fish. The grandchildren had a blast crab fishing and we caught enough to have a crab boil. Everything was at the house that we needed to accomplish this. Thank you for a great vacation at Grand Isle!

We LOVED our stay! I don’t think you could get any closer to the beach! We loved sitting on the porch listening to the ocean and walking the beaches, collecting all sorts of shells. Since you are pretty far from any towns, it was so nice to have access to the supply closet - really appreciated. We will definitely keep this place on the list!

We booked last minute (same day). She was very responsive and we checked in with no issues. Great stay!

House was very large with plenty of space. Our extended family enjoyed the entire vacation in the house. We didnt need to go anywhere to have fun. Host was quick to respond when we had 1 issue (our own fault). Would definitely stay there again.

Great place, great view!

The place is very beautiful and has privacy. You will find everything you need, it has a platform to park the boat which was fantastic for us. You will enjoy a dolphin show from your balcony which was super cool. As for the service, there was a little poor communication at first because apparently the hostess was on vacation but the office in charge of the rentals did everything to help me and it appeared. As for the house, the beds are super comfortable, the beds are very clean. The only slightly uncomfortable thing is that we saw some cockroach , and the bathrooms did not have soap to bathe with. But after that everything was great.

Chelsea was a pleasure to deal with and was very helpful with whatever we needed. My group felt right at home and we really enjoyed our stay. I only wish I would have been able to park my boat under the camp, but there wasn’t enough room with the owners boats that were already parked there. Other than that, everything was amazing and better than expected! Highly recommend this place for your next stay on the island!
