We lucked out and had beautiful sunny weather while we were here, and the apartment was perfect. Within walking distance of some great food and grocery stores, and right across the road from a pedestrian path on the water. It was a perfect place to stay outside of the noise and chaos of city center!

We had an amazing time at Kevin’s place. The house was exactly as described, clean, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect—close to everything, yet in a quiet neighborhood, which made it a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The kitchen was well-equipped, and the bed was super comfortable. Kevin was a wonderful host, very responsive and accommodating, making the check-in process seamless. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay!

Had a great stay for 3 nights. Everything was as mentioned in the listing, but the photos don’t really capture the amount of space you have at your disposal. The views from the apartment are great and everything you need is within walking distance. I recommend Little Richard’s Pizza, Gerry’s Fresh Foods and Stoop Your Head (seafood restaurant on the front). Valerie left some scones, bread and milk which was very appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked and was a joy to cook in. The heating was set for certain times so we didn’t have to worry about being cold, and it was especially nice turning up on the first day to a warm place. I would defintely return to Skerries and rent Valerie’s place again.

We stayed at ravensdale retreat, Was lovely 2 bed house, very modern, The host was great and very friendly and welcoming! The hot tub was small which is the only downside for 4 people but apart from that our stay was amazing.

My family of 5 can’t say enough great things about our stay here! The place was really cute, comfortable and most importantly CLEAN. The rooftop balcony was really nice for having morning coffee outdoors. Rosemary had a few breakfast items ready for our arrival. The bonus for us was her restaurant/bar. The food was incredible and the drinks were just as lovely. We were welcomed and shown unbelievable small town Irish hospitality from the staff and locals. We felt right at home. It was an ideal location for our last 3 nights in Ireland!

The Captain’s Wheel was excellent! Everything you need to explore Skerries and surrounding area. Would definitely stay there again. Next door to everything.

Our stay with Kay couldn't have been better. Very nice room, spotlessly clean, free of any mess, comfortable bed. Perfect if you're going to a wedding in the station house. Kay's also has the added touch of a delicious breakfast in the morning, and there was a glass of water left by the bed when we came home from the wedding - a nice touch that kept the hangover at bay.

We love this place, we have stayed a few times and will be back again. It has such beautiful views, it's cosy and so handy to walk to shops, restaurants etc. yet still private.

Arthur and Michelle’s place is a gem! So close to Newgrange and other historical sites. The bedroom was very comfortable and bathroom was great. The hosts are next level - even made sure to have lots of gluten free options for us in the morning. Both Arthur and Michelle are a wealth of information and great stories. Will for sure tell anyone I know visiting that area to stop in for a stay with them.

Rory, his wife Mary and their daughter Claire were very personable and friendly. We arrived much later than expected and Rory stayed up to meet us and introduce us to the accommodation. What a lovely spot! His cozy cottage is less than 30 feet from the beach where I enjoyed an early morning cold plunge in Skerries Bay 8.5°C water. It is so tranquil and pleasant to fall asleep to, and wake up to the fresh Irish Sea air and lull of waves lapping, gently crashing on the sea shore just outside our window. The cottage was as described, clean and tidy and warm. Just perfect for the two of us. Great host and place.

Great big house! We stayed as a large group for a birthday for one night and it was perfect for us. Nigel was very helpful and accommodating. Great location walking distance to bars and restaurants but very easy to get a taxi too if you don’t feel like walking. Would definitely book again if we stayed in carlingford again.

Albert ist wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, er hat uns tolle Tipps für Unternehmungen gegeben. Wenn wir Fragen hatten oder uns etwas gefehlt hat, wie z.B. ein Adapter, hat er es uns sofort zur Verfügung gestellt. Die Lage ist wirklich schön, direkt am Wasser gelegen. Einen Morgendlichen Spaziergang im Watt kann ich wärmstens empfehlen. Man ist sehr gut mit Bus und Bahn Unterwegs und die nächste Stadt Malahide gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Alles im allem war es ein toller kurz Urlaub und wir kommen gerne wieder.

It was beautiful, was ideal for the group we had really catered to our needs would definitely be returning at some point and Lisa and Patrick were lovely !!

Lir Lodge was as delightful in winter as it was last spring. Can't thank Anna and Joe enough for the place being decorated for Christmas. Helped make our Christmas away from home so special. It was wonderful to arrive so late at night to a warm and welcome space. (We got caught up in the Holyhead problem!). The house is wonderful and suited all of us so well. The children recognised where they were and made themselves at home immediately.

We have just spent 4 days at this property, to visit family and celebrate St Paddy’s Day. The location was beautiful next to the beach and a short walk along the beach to Rush town. Rush has lovely bars , restaurants and cafes and the best artisan bakery. The property was tastefully decorated and had everything needed. Mary & Jason were very helpful and responsive. Such a lovely place we will definitely be back soon xx

Simply a 5 star experience all around. The location is amazing! It is away from the hustle and bustle of Dublin but close enough, especially if commuting from the Rush & Lusk rail station, to easily travel in and around. The airbnb easily accommodated our family of 6 and we enjoyed relaxing on the beach as well as on the property at the picnic tables and adirondak chairs. Mary and Jason literally could not be better hosts. They are incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. We look forward to a return visit!

We caused some early trouble for Jocelyn, showing up early looking to get in. Jocelyn had the cleaner work diligently to get us in before check in. We then went to dinner and locked ourselves out. Jocelyn, who lives some distance away, got us in quickly in answer to our text. Place proved perfect for stay with my wife and son. Location not on the Strand but overlooks other buildings to provide a good view and real feeling of ocean front. Great unit and great area to stay. Looking forward to going back.

Mary and Jason were amazing hosts. There is literally nothing I could complain about with this place. Everything was perfectly clean and made up for us when we arrived, the beach access was amazing, and Mary was very responsive to answer all my questions and provide amenities for us. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

When Mary & Jason found out we got engaged during our trip we were surprised with an Engagement gift shortly after by the front door. You couldn’t ask for more friendly hosts. 100% recommend.

Everything was perfect, the apartment looked exactly like in the photos and the beach was great too. Mary was very friendly and welcoming, we had a great time!

I had a great stay at Alison’s place. The room was very cosy, and the view of the sea was beautiful. While staying, I worked remote. The wifi was fast and reliable! Alison was very friendly and helpful with guidance and recommendations. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for a peaceful seaside stay in Ireland.
