The cabin was exactly as shown and described. Awesome location, close to downtown Seward, but tucked away enough in the woods for privacy and wildlife sightings! Comfortable and up to date amenities

We were here for our son’s wedding and it was convenient. Angela made sure we had everything we needed. The cleanliness was very good. A couple of things because we had 2 elderly women with us, the rugs on the floors were definitely trip hazards and the funky stairs upstairs should have hand rails to hold on to. A streaming service would have definitely been a plus.

One of the best Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in! The host’s attention to detail is impressive, and the home shows pride of ownership through and through. Very peaceful also. Would stay here again!

We stayed at “The Ledge” at the Granite Point Lodge with our 2 dogs. We were greeted by Levi, the property grounds keeper - who was so incredibly kind! He welcomed us and let us know about activities to do around the property. To get to the ledge and other cabins on the property (besides Pepper Creek) you have to go up 3 flights of stairs - steep, but easily doable! Dogs and children may have a harder time, so be patient! The ledge cabin is the first cabin to your right after you reach the top of the stairs. It came with everything: pots, pans, wood for the wood stove, propane stove for cooking, utensils, cooler, electricity (via generator), electric outlets, dishes and bed linens. The place was very clean, private and well maintained. The covered deck with the fire pit was our favorite part when the weather was wet. There is a queen bed in the loft (accessed via latter) and a small sofa couch inside. The outhouse is clean/shared. We loved our time here! Can’t wait to come back!

This was my second stay at this cottage and third stay with Rustic / Salted Roots. You can’t beat these oceanside accommodations whether you’re looking for a peaceful laid back trip or easy access to local fishing / hiking / kayaking - this spot has it all! This is the perfect location to wake with the sunrise, watch the tide roll in and out, and pull out the binoculars to spy whales, otters, and sea lions swimming bye. Grateful to have these getaways nearby :)

Didn’t stay overnight due to weather but got some day use and was beautiful

very cozy yurt the bed was super comfortable. only downside is the place is right off a busy road so you do hear cars driving by while you're there. however they do provide you with earplugs and sleep masks if needed. I'd say the best place to stay on the property is definitely the yurt since you get to overlook everything.

Wish we could have stayed longer (we only stayed 1 night)

amazing stay at the salted roots! beautiful views and very comfortable stay. had fun by the fire pit and used the sauna every day! will definitely be back in the summer.

The views were absolutely stunning!! Never stayed at a place like this and couldn’t take my eyes off the view. We saw otters in the distance from the deck. Walked down the beach at low tide and saw sea lions hunting and catching fish! Saw a bald eagle off the side of the road. Short drive to town and the sea life center. The road was a little rough but not a problem with an SUV. I’ve seen worse (snow and ice had melted when we were there). Kids loved the bed in the raised nook. The second bedroom is small but just enough to get some shut eye. Heat worked well and water was nice and warm. We forgot to get coffee but they had Folgers in the cupboard.

The perfect get away from reality. I loved how the unit had the door facing the ocean, and how you can hear the waves calm during the night. The covers on the bed were amazing because they felt soft and overall kept you warn. The lounging area was great for movie night. Highly recommend the upstairs room. Thank you for a great stay!

The covered patio is better than the pictures. We were able to enjoy an amazing rainy night while grilling and hanging outside on the patio. Also the beach access and views are unparalleled. At high tide you can enjoy the views from a few steps away, and at low tide we walked the beach, saw seals and gorgeous foggy forest and Mountain View’s. I am so grateful to have experienced this with friends and family.

I absolutely loved everything about this place! My only regret was staying 2 nights. The property was super peaceful with the best views I've ever seen. 10/10.
