Comfortable stay for 15 people. Nice area. Great big back porch which was nice during the day and evening. Would highly recommend this place to stay. So many kitchen appliances. Lots of towels and beach towels. Fully furnished.

Great place for the family. Plenty of things to do at the house. Also not too far from Traverse City or Boyne Mountain. Would definitely stay here again!!

Such a beautiful home! The indoor pool was a hit with our kids because of some chilly weather. We enjoyed our stay.

Kate was an amazing host. Very communicative and understanding with people flying in from out of town and needing early check in. The place was incredible and highly recommended to anyone coming to Traverse City.

What a little gem of a place! Truly was an enjoyable place to stay and met all our needs. I would definitely recommend staying here especially during the summer months when you can take advantage of all the amenities like the beautiful in ground pool in the backyard.

The house is beautifully furnished and decorated. Very clean, comfortable linen, plenty of towels (including beach towels). So nice of them to let us use the bikes and extra beach accessories, including a push-wagon that was perfect to take the baby to the beach. The kitchen had everything we needed and all of great quality and new. The dryer is old and makes a huge noise (a note on top of it warned us), so I suggest to turn it on when everyone is either awake or away. The neighborhood is residential and very friendly and quiet. There’s a nice park within a short walk. The beach is beautiful and also within walking or biking distance. We chose to drive to the farthest point of the beach where there are bathrooms, a snack shack and a nice and fun restaurant. It is paid parking (May-Sept). The hosts were super helpful and responded any questions quickly. We certainly recommend the place!

The Mangy Moose is the place to be! John has thought of everything! We came over our spring break (March) for fishing, so we didn't get to use all the summer amenities... But we enjoyed the beautiful kitchen (for yummy home cooked meals), awesome large dining table (for meals and games), large tv with lots of channels, beautiful fireplace, hot tub, and the kids LOVED the club house. Plus the 4-bed & 4-bath setup was perfect to blend (2) families together for a very comfortable stay for 9 people (total) for the week. This place is a true gem and we are already talking about next year!

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful cabin retreat! The location was perfect—set on top of a hill with tons of land to explore. It was so quiet and private, exactly what we were looking for. Our kids had an absolute blast running around and adventuring through the woods and open spaces. The whole family loved being able to disconnect and enjoy nature together. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a beautiful setting! We also really appreciated the little things, such as the welcome bottle of wine. Great stay!

the porch is fabulous. lots of space for everyone. we did not need it, but the secret room was adorable. we would definitely come back again.

We really enjoyed our stay! The home was so nice and clean and very open inside. Had just about everything we needed for our two night stay. I can't say enough good things about the beautiful property. Loved walking the trail in the woods with our dogs. Wish we had more time, but would love to come back and stay in this home again. Hunting trip with some buddies went great, home was clean, host was very attentive and responsive to all communications. We had 2 unavoidable issues during our stay but our host were great and took care of both issues without question, and very timely. I would definately recommend this host and we well likely be booking more trips at other locations as well.

The Big Drake is in on quiet lane right on the lake shore, the place is large while still feeling homey. The kitchen is well l equipped with modern appliances. The heating and AC are controlled by different Nest thermostats, and we were able to keep it at a good temperature. The three main bedrooms are very comfortable--two share an adjoining bathroom, and for one it is around the corner. The kids rooms with bunk beds were great as well. The rooms above the garage were a bit more rustic, but clean and comfortable. The furniture in the living room is very cozy leather and the other furniture is nice, often custom wood like in a fancy lodge. The check-in and check-out were super easy, with clear instructions and communications. The place is 10 minutes from a large grocery store (Meijer) and 20–30 minutes from Traverse city, which is a neat town to explore with excellent food. Overall, we highly recommend and hope we can come back!

My husband and I loved this place and the fact it is dog friendly so our two rascals were able to join us! We loved the view and the fire place, the big kitchen that comes with everything you need and the big couch to lounge around on. The only thing was the heater on a very cold night felt it wasnt working but had plenty of blankets to grab. Other than that we would come again and loved it so much!

This is our second visit for our annual mom's getaway, and once again, we were impressed. Jeff is an incredible host, and the home is immaculate and conveniently located near town. The living room fireplace adds a cozy ambiance, and the hot tub provided relaxation after a fun day of shopping downtown. The rooms are cozy, and the fire pit in the backyard along with the yard games are delightful features. Unfortunately, it was a bit too cold and windy this trip to fully enjoy them. Thank you for hosting us again this year!

We really enjoyed our stay at this home! The home was very spacious for our group of 5. We did struggle to find Ubers and Lyfts and taxis seem to book up quickly so we would suggest planning rides in advance. Other than that we couldn’t have asked for a better space and location for our trip! Annemarie is a great host and kept us informed and up to date throughout our entire stay. Would definitely recommend!

Great place to stay, secluded, off the road. Very clean, no problems at all. Close to store, gas station and restaurant. I was keep well informed by Alicia about our stay.

We planned a quick family getaway for Spring Break. Kelsey's house was just what we were looking for. Beautiful home, with nice, peaceful surroundings. The kids loved the hot tub, and the massage chair, and plenty of room for them to roam around. Not too far from downtown Traverse City, but just far enough that you don't have to deal with all of the city like hassles. The family is already looking forward to the next trip we plan to that area and staying at that house. I would highly recommend it.

I booked last min. Late at night. Had an emergency with my brother and his wife. They had their baby 5 weeks early. The hosts were so accommodating. We came with Nothing. The provided the best place with all amnesties. Hod bless my brother and his family made it out safe.

Beautiful home in extremely peaceful neighborhood. It was perfect for a family gathering. Bruce was very helpful, flexible and communicated promptly and clearly. I would highly recommend!
