We have had a fantastic time here!! The cabin is located directly at a small lake in a very quiet environment. Nobody else was around at the lake during our 10 day stay so it felt completely private. Luckily, it was perfect sunny weather so we could sit outside with t-shirts while the sun was melting us and the residual snow. Still, one could see people cross-country skiing in one of the forests a few minutes away at the end of march. We enjoyed a lot barbecuing and relaxing at the lake, hiking in the nearby forests and the jacuzzi of course. This place is perfect to calm down and it is not far away from Oslo. We liked the stylish design of the cabin very much. It's just like in the pictures and fully equipped with everything you may need. Hege has been a super kind host! We'd love to come back at some point. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It is set in a truly beautiful location by the river. It was a perfect place to unwind and relax with the family. We really enjoyed all the many facilities and would highly recommend the cabin to others!! Ole was a very helpful host and always responsive. The house felt so homely and welcoming. A real gem of a place!

Die Unterkunft ist schön einsam gelegen in einer leicht bergigen Landschaft unweit von Olso. Wir waren im Winter dort und es gab schöne Loipen für Langlauf in der Nähe. Die Hütte hat eine super Aufteilung, mit großer Küche inkl. Esstisch und Bad im unteren Geschoss, oben sind zwei separate Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbetten, und besonders gemütlich ist der Kamin im großen Wohnzimmer. Inger Johanne war äußerst zuvorkommend und hat uns viele Tipps gegeben.

Nice place, great for my needs

Supert opphold i Marka, men det som hører til. Vannhenting, fyring i peis og oppvask for hånd. Johan er en hyggelig vert som svarer raskt.

Fijne woning vol karakter. Voelt als familiehuis aan en zeer mooie locatie. Goed contact met eigenaren gehad. Duidelijke omschrijving van de woning en omgeving. Mooie wandelingen in de omgeving gemaakt.

This particular Airbnb is a real find. Ok so it is 1/2 hour train ride out of Oslo but that was no bother to us. The house is situated in a beautiful and quiet location in Nitterdal and is easy to reach. We had the whole of the downstairs which can easily sleep 5 people. A compact bathroom but plenty of hot water from a lovely powerful shower. The kitchen was very well stocked. Comfortable beds and plenty of pillows made for a good night’s sleep. Fresh eggs in the morning from Hege’s chickens was a bonus. All in all a fantastic place to stay.

If you have a car, it’s a great place to be, very quiet, very nice surroundings and Bengt is an excellent host. It’s a short drive to the airport and to Jessheim city center.
