Great place to stay while visiting the West Bank

Arlenes place is beautiful and i felt at home from the moment I arrived (literally).. and I had an amazing sleep. I was soo comfortable i didn't leave the villa for 2 days. The outside area, balconies and pool were amazing, and ideal for adults wanting a break. the pool is exclusively for the use of anyone who rents the villa.. just take care with kids as it's easily accessed. I had a few nights looking out at Nile while having a smoke.. note: no smoking indoors. #HeavenOnEarth I would say there isn't much happening locally, and taxis can be hard to find, even using apps.. so if you find a good driver take their number. Thank you Arlene, Sayed, Osman, Abdul and the boys for your kindness and care.. I can't wait to bring my family / friends with me on my next visit.

This place is absolutely gorgeous! It really captures the beauty and magic of Luxor. On top of the accommodations the host fed us the best food we’ve had in Egypt. Ahmed is super friendly and very accommodating and even ran to the store to pick up cold medicine when I told him I wasn’t feeling well. The host really goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and welcome. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Wir haben eine tolle Woche in dem süssen Häuschen von Refaie verbracht. Es ist sehr ruhig, komfortabel mit allen, was dazu gehört ausgestattet. Bequemes, grosses Dopellbett, großzügiges Wohnzimmer mit offener Küche und Esstisch.. Gasherd,Waschmaschine sind neu und hochwertig. Wir schätzten die Privatsphäre im Haus und Garten. 4 Minuten zu Fuß zu Habu Tempel. Die majestätischen Berge liegen vor uns. Möglichkeit essen zu gehen ist innerhalb einigen Minuten da. Auch Market und Shops. Zum Nil sind es ca. 5 km. Ein gemütlicher Spaziergang dauert etwa 45 Minuten. Dieses bequemes und komfortables Häuschen war bach unserer Geschmack. einfach toll. 🥰

Spacious, clean, and comfortable ground floor apartment located one block from the west bank corniche. There are several very good restaurants nearby, and a mini market as well. The bed linen is of good quality, but the basics less so. The host is very kind and responsive. In case you need a strong WiFi for work, suggest you double check with the him if the WiFi has been upgraded as the current one doesn’t support teleconferences.

La casa è nuova, pulita e semplicemente splendida. Il proprietario, Hassan, è stato incredibilmente gentile e disponibile, accompagnandoci e guidandoci per tutto il nostro soggiorno. Ci ha consigliato luoghi imperdibili da visitare e ci ha portato personalmente in giro, facendoci scoprire anche ristoranti tipici, autentici e lontani dalle classiche mete turistiche. Sempre attento alle nostre esigenze, ci ha aiutato con ogni richiesta, rendendo la nostra esperienza a Luxor davvero indimenticabile. Peccato poter dare solo 5 stelle! Consigliatissimo!

Ahmed is a very friendly and hospitable host. He met us upon arrival and offered some fruits from the garden in front of the house and bottles of water. For those who don't speak Arabic, his English is very good and responded very promptly to any inquiry / was very accomadating. He checked in on us a lot to make sure our stay was going well and offered his tourist guide services if we needed anything. He also very kindly made sure we got back to Aswan safely. The Airbnb listing is exactly as shown in the photos, it's a very peaceful and quiet rural area and is a short ride to many cultural sites in Luxor on the west bank. I would highly recommend booking this Airbnb as I would gladly rebook with Ahmed if I ever ended up visiting Luxor again.

Ahmed's apartment is very nice place to stay. Good location, quiet area. I was unfortunate to stay during the massive water outage in the city and it was quite a challenge to survive without a water supply in the apartment, however I can't blame the apartment, since the outage was all over the city.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Elaine's, so much so, that on my next visit, I will definitely stay there again. The spacious 2 bedroom apartment has so much charm and character. It is a beautiful vacation oasis, much lovelier than a hotel. She and her husband are both quite friendly and helpful. If you like, you can also hire her husband as a taxi to collect you from the train station and to show you around. He is very nice and professional. Even the inner pool courtyard is a lovely area to tan, swim, and have fun. Overall, I highly recommend this location. See you next time.

Amandine is the absolute true definition of a perfect host. Very responsive; Starting from accommodating an early check-in, providing all the appliances needed, and being overall kind and friendly. Definitely recommend!

Unfortunately the main water pump of the city had broken during our stay but Mohammed gave us bottle of water and was always there to help us. The host proposed us private tour of the West Bank monuments, with interesting prices, I highly recommend him
