Freundliche Familienherberge mit super Nilblick! Das Hofni-Palace ist ein freundliches, familiengeführtes kleines Apartment-Haus mit 5 Apartments. Von den Balkonen der beiden oberen Apartments zur Hauptstraße hin habt ihr einen wundervollen Blick auf den Nil. Ich hatte das Apartment oben rechts: 2 Schlafzimmer, jedes mit eigenem Balkon, Küche, Bad und Wohnzimmer mit Balkon zur Seite hin. Alle Zimmer sind geräumig. Das Bad hat einen Boiler, so dass ihr auch während der Stromausfälle in Luxor (ca. 2h/Tag) noch warm duschen könnt. Ich war im Januar in Luxor, wo die Temperaturen nachts bis auf ca. 10° fallen können. Das Apartment blieb aber auch ohne Heizung ausreichend warm. Tayea ist der Eigentümer und Manager des Hofni Palace. Er hat Touren für mich organisiert und teils auch selbst mit seinem Auto gemacht. Ich habe mich bei ihm und seiner britischen Partnerin, Margaret, sehr wohl gefühlt. Tipp: Tayea tauscht eure Euros zu deutlich besseren Kursen, als die Banken / ATMs!

Obama’s place is very comfortable and well located. The host is super helpful and attentive, helped us with everything. Would definitely recommend this place!

Me agradó mucho el lugar, el apartamento fue exactamente como las fotos Ahmed estuvo muy atento todo el tiempo, el área muy tranquila, cerca del Río Nilo. Muy satisfecho, lo recomendaria.

Tive alguns contratempos e não consegui me hospedar na unidade locada, no entanto Mohamed efetuou o reembolso integral e foi extremamente solicito. Recomendo este parceiro, pois embora tenha tido problema foram extremamente honestos comigo. Cheguei a fazer alguns passeios com Mohamed, uma pessoa extremamente amável e atenciosa. Foi uma pena não conseguir me hospedar nesta unidade.

Si quieres pasar unos días maravillosos en Egipto, debes conocer a Khaled. El es la persona que te ayurá con todo lo que necesites. Recibirán un buen trato, una buena comunicación, ayuda para lo que necesites, solución a todo lo que pueda ser un inconveniente. “Anwar’s home was one of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed in. Anwar is an amazing person; he helped me with many things, including easily booking a hot air balloon ride and accompanying me to visit historical sites. His generosity is remarkable, as he invited me to enjoy a delightful Egyptian breakfast. The nighttime atmosphere was truly breathtaking, surrounded by trees, the cool breeze, and the clean, comfortable seating areas. This experience definitely deserves a full rating: 5/5.”

This place is absolutely gorgeous! It really captures the beauty and magic of Luxor. On top of the accommodations the host fed us the best food we’ve had in Egypt. Ahmed is super friendly and very accommodating and even ran to the store to pick up cold medicine when I told him I wasn’t feeling well. The host really goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable and welcome. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Spacious, clean, and comfortable ground floor apartment located one block from the west bank corniche. There are several very good restaurants nearby, and a mini market as well. The bed linen is of good quality, but the basics less so. The host is very kind and responsive. In case you need a strong WiFi for work, suggest you double check with the him if the WiFi has been upgraded as the current one doesn’t support teleconferences.

Ahmed is a very friendly and hospitable host. He met us upon arrival and offered some fruits from the garden in front of the house and bottles of water. For those who don't speak Arabic, his English is very good and responded very promptly to any inquiry / was very accomadating. He checked in on us a lot to make sure our stay was going well and offered his tourist guide services if we needed anything. He also very kindly made sure we got back to Aswan safely. The Airbnb listing is exactly as shown in the photos, it's a very peaceful and quiet rural area and is a short ride to many cultural sites in Luxor on the west bank. I would highly recommend booking this Airbnb as I would gladly rebook with Ahmed if I ever ended up visiting Luxor again.

We are a group of three digital nomads who stayed at Ali's villa for about two weeks and absolutely LOVED our time here! The location is incredibly peaceful and semi-remote (in the best ways possible - think dirt roads). We loved walking around the small markets (5-10 minute walk) and restaurants (same walk or who will deliver to you) and interacting with locals, from Ali's villa you have the perfect place to have a truly authentic experience Everyone everywhere around us always welcomed us and was full of smiles Ali and his team are amazing hosts and SUPER responsive but not overbearing We work from home online as we travel and wifi is very important to us. The speeds worked for three of us to take Zoom meetings all day (at the same time) without issue. Ali was kind about helping us renew data when we needed it The outdoor areas are so spacious and well-equipped to hang out in! The pool was a dream during Luxor summer and was used every day for two weeks! Definitely coming back

This Airbnb was absolutely amazing! The place was sparkling clean, cozy, and incredibly peaceful. One of the best highlights was the rooftop, where I enjoyed my morning coffee every day and truly relaxed. The home is surrounded on four sides by a banana plantation, giving it a private, serene feel—perfect for unwinding. Even though there was no heating or air conditioning, the temperature was overall perfect for the time of year we traveled. It did get a little chilly in the evenings, so I’d recommend bringing an extra pair of comfy socks or house slippers. That said, the overall experience was one of the best stays I’ve ever had. The host was incredibly available and friendly, making our stay even better. They can also help arrange tour guides, balloon rides, transportation, and anything else you might need to make your trip seamless and stress-free. No doubt, I would highly recommend this stay for a peaceful break from the hustle and bustle of the East Bank.

My host is very friendly and please don’t miss this opportunity he is a great humble man and offered a lot to us. Person like this is rare to find in Egypt.

Mohamed was super helpful from the beginning, feels like home, super quiet place, you can use the washing machine (which we used once), big fridge, big bed, an outdoor pool… if you need something don’t hesitate to ask him, he gave us good recommendations for restaurant near by, places to visit and tours/experience you can book with him as well. In our stay the kettle stopped working but he replaced it immediately, the tv remote didn’t work we think it was the batteries but didn’t have time to use it more. I recommend staying here.

Super appartement situé rive ouest proche de plusieurs restaurants et à 5 min du ferry. L’endroit est calme. Nous avons aussi apprécié les volets complètement occultants sur la porte fenêtre de la chambre. Nous n’avons pas pu profiter de la piscine (trop fraîche fin février 🤪) mais ça donnait bien envie 😉 L’hôte a été très réactif par message lorsque c’était nécessaire mais il n’habite pas ici, donc nous avons été accueillis par une personne intermédiaire.

Badawi promptly responded to my advance questions re: the best time to arrive, how I can go to his listing to check in, how he can show me where to go for shopping and food, how I can have my things sent to me, how my rental is private, how he will let the employees know not to bother me, and anything else I needed such as the wonderful free breakfast, WiFi, etc. When my plane landed, I texted Badawi as we discussed prior to my arrival, and he gave me clear directions on how to take the taxi to the ferry with the few things I had brought on the plane, then met me at the ferry dock, carried my things to his car, and chauffeured me the rest of the beautiful way to the rental. The place was better than expected. Rarely have I felt so at home!! He had a working refrigerator with some welcome fruit in it, showed me how to open the balcony doors for air or just sunshine, and then let me stay in peace unless I needed anything, at which time he responded very well and professionally.

ルクソールの西岸側にあるゲストハウスです。 オーナーさんのご自宅と同じ敷地です。 私達は1階滞在でしたが、2階にも何部屋かあり、庭、屋上、洗濯機などは共用です。 お部屋は全体的に清潔でした。 シャワーはお湯が出ます。 キッチンも使いやすくて、洗濯機もあるので長期滞在にオススメです。 お水やフルーツのサービスも助かりました。 送迎、気球、ファルーカ、各地へのツアーなど提供していたり、ご家族のレストランやカフェなどもあるので、お任せで楽しみたい方には楽ちんです。 私たちは自転車を借りてもらって、西側の観光名所を回って楽しみました。 ありがとうございました。
