This was our second stay at this residence and it was as great an experience as the first time. We stayed in 2023, but it was booked in 2024 when we were looking. The house is very clean and a great family environment for spending time together. We would definitely come back here again and recommend this house for anyone looking for a nice getaway. We stayed for a family event in the area. Steamtown is closeby and offered a few hours of free education and entertainment. Convenient to local grocery stores and Walmart. The kitchen was well stocked with silverware, pots and pans. New appliances throughout. Driveway could park 3-4 cars smaller size vehicles, and there was ample and free street parking available. Beds are comfortable and house and neighborhood is quiet. The living room and upstairs kitchen provided a nice area to hang out and relax together. The dining room was well used on our visit as we shared many meals around the table. The porches and balcony were nice amenities to relax outside and enjoy the early spring-like weather when we visited.

We loved our stay. I will stay here again if I ever wanted to go back. I loved loved loved the big windows. This place was very cozy and comforting to my family and I. I can go there alone just for a peace of mind. Thank you again Cassandra for everything, she was very helpful.

Perfect Family Getaway! We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how clean, cozy, and well-maintained the cabin was. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxing family getaway — surrounded by nature with stunning views and all the comforts of home. The cabin had everything we needed, comfortable beds and thoughtful touches throughout. We especially loved the playroom with all the games,the fireplace, and the close by restaurants/bar. Our host was incredible — so friendly and helpful! Rob was quick to respond to any and all questions and made sure we had everything we needed to feel at home. It’s clear they put a lot of care into making this place special. We can’t wait to come back again soon! Highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable escape.

Bill was a very great host. The home was nice, warm and cozy when we arrived for checkin. My family had awesome time. There are so many things to do inside the home! Ping pong, Foosball, board games, or just lounging around. We definitely look forward for our future stay. Thanks Bill!

Home was perfect for our yearly family skiing trip! House accommodated 16 of us comfortably with its spacious open floor plan and 8 bedrooms. Has a beautiful kitchen with everything you need. Love that all bedrooms had their own or semi private bathrooms. Hosts were very friendly and quickly responded to questions or concerns. House was super close to ski resorts which was awesome! Will definitely stay here again.

My family of four stayed here for two nights for a quick getaway and to get in a winter hike, and we were not disappointed. The house was very cozy (and sparkling clean, as well.) We loved the freestanding gas fireplace and the hot tub. It was so convenient to be able to walk out of the house and hike through the state forest (we did the Choke Creek Falls Hike, it was a fairly easy hike even with ice/snow on the ground with a ten year old.) Would love to come back in the warmer months to swim in the river!

We felt right at home in the very spacious home. Having 4 kids they were never bored with all the entertainment and games in the basement. The house was very clean and exactly how the pictures looked. I am very particular about cleanliness and there were no complaints with that. They responded very quick to questions prior to the trip and while at the home. They are also very friendly and easy to or with. This is a good half way point for my family and I would 100% stay here again and recommend to others.

This Airbnb was the perfect peaceful getaway! The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature with plenty of great hiking spots nearby. The hot tub and fire pit were exactly what I needed to unwind and relax after a day of exploring. The area is quiet, yet there are enough neighbors around that you don’t feel completely secluded. The cabin itself is cozy, comfortable, and well-equipped, making it a great escape from the everyday hustle. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing retreat!

Property was as described/shown in photos. Nice little house - fully equipped kitchen with spices and everything. Especially enjoyed the hot tub and screened in porch. Sean was a proactive host so I did not have many questions. We will be back!

We just had an amazing weekend getaway at Bella Bear cabin, and it was such a delight! My kids were absolutely in love with the place, to the point where they’re already begging us to return this summer! Kathleen, our host, was phenomenal—so responsive and genuinely sweet. I can’t recommend this spot enough! It's the perfect escape!

The house was even bigger and cozier than the photos made it look! Great location for our ski trip to Blue Mountain and Camelback. Favorite part was the electric fireplace!

Ryan’s place was amazing! The home itself was so cozy and welcoming! My family and I loved it so much, we didn’t want to leave! We especially loved the fireplace and overall feel of the home. Very cute place, perfect for a weekend getaway. It’s a quiet area for the “getaway in the woods” feeling but close to restaurants and attractions in town. The coffee bar was adorable and the layout was very family friendly. We could not locate the parking passes when we arrived but Juliana was very responsive and took care of it very quickly. All in all, great experience!

Barry and Skylar are the best hosts! They were always super responsive and helpful and so kind! They really wanted us to have a great time at the house and we sure did! Both kids and adults had the best time! Can’t wait to rent again next year!!!

Louise was responsive, thorough, and very friendly from start to finish. She sent out local things to do and everything was clear.

This was our first AirBnB experience and it was wonderful. The apartment was cozy, clean, and well stocked with everyday necessities. Would definitely recommend it and would stay there again.

Vi elsker 142! Dette var vårt første besøk i 2B, men vi har bodd i 142 før. Alltid skinnende rent og hjemmekoselig. Gode senger og rolig midt i sentrum. Deana er en super vert som svarer på alle spørsmål, men har også laget gode instruksjoner i leilighetene. Når vi bor her føler vår datter seg alltid som hjemme, når hun kommer på besøk. Vi kommer tilbake i oktober :)

Balbina’s home was great. She was very responsive & attentive to any questions I had about fixing the temperature in the home. This home was perfect for 3 people to stay in over the weekend. Clean bathroom & stocked kitchen. As listed , there is only one tv in the living room which is fine if you’re not planning to use it often. It’s one hour from Kalahari if you plan on visiting there. There’s parking on the side of the house which fits about two cars (there is no parking on the street). I would recommend to anyone just looking for something with a more homey feel. Some girl friends and I came for my 25th birthday for a cabin getaway and we had so much fun! The location is perfect, only minutes away from a few cute local restaurants. I’m from the Poconos and this was a really great experience to show my friends why I love it! We loved the hot tub, interior design, and overall layout of the property. The extra details of the towels and little supplies made it so charming and homey. Would definitely recommend!!

Loved our stay at Hayden's place! We brought our dog for a long weekend in February and it was perfect for what we wanted - cozy peace and quiet. We were even treated to some snow while we were there! Hayden was super responsive both before and during our stay, and the place was exactly as described. Very easy drive to Jim Thorpe for the afternoon. We would definitely stay here again.

This place is AMAZING! so well stocked we hardly had to bring anything. Patricia thought of everything. Peaceful quite and relaxing as we spent a beautiful winter storm in the cabin with our dog. Fire outside in the snow, listening to her LP's and the TV system...all just perfect. Will stay again!
