A lovely last minute getaway to the New Forest. Cindy couldn’t have been more accommodating getting some essentials in at short nice (a thoughtful touch at any time) and making lots of great recommendations for the local area. Located a short drive from the main locations and with plenty of forest friends to be seen along the way. The place itself was just as described and so peaceful. It had enough space for our 9 yr old and 5 yr old to sleep across the landing from us comfortably and was surprisingly warm in the bedrooms. Main bed nice and comfy and space downstairs for the 4 of us to unwind after a day out roaming.

We had a beautiful stay here! The lodge was lovely and clean with a great view. The hot tub was a perfect addition and we had a great time relaxing here. It is also a great location for getting to Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and other stunning places.

We had a fabulous stay with family here.The kids especially loved the hot tub and table tennis.The kitchen was really well equipped so it was easy to cook and serve for a group…the beds were comfortable.Theres a shop in walking distance and the house is 2 minutes from the edge of the forest….took us 6 minutes to reach Lyndhurst.Came home very relaxed!Thank you for having us!

The hosts were helpful from the moment we booked our stay. We were given clear instructions on where to arrive and were greeted as soon as we pulled into the carpark. They explained all the necessary information and answered all of our questions and were very helpful. They were always available if we had any queries and gave plenty of local recommendations for food and activities. We would 100% recommend and would be more than happy to book again.

We had such a fantastic time in Jocelyn and David’s Air B & B with our 11 month old twins. The place is very child friendly with cots, highchairs and plenty of toys which our twins loved to play with. Everything is very cosy and comfortable (with comfy sofas and beds) and the kitchen is well equipped. Everything was also very clean. We also enjoyed having a glass of wine in the hot tub after we put our twins to bed. It is in a great location with plenty of great nearby pubs and walks. A big highlight was all the amazing gentle and friendly animals - horses, a donkey, and chickens to name a few which we and our twins enjoyed going to see every morning. We also thought Jocelyn and David were thoughtful hosts and very friendly. We would thoroughly recommend to families or couples. We hope to be back soon! Thank you Jocelyn and David!

Lovely weekend with friends. Beautiful location and the hosts were happy to provide suggestions on where to go etc and were very responsive. The croissants, jams, coffees etc were a lovely addition to our first morning!!🌞 Sue and Robert were also flexible with us leaving the car in the space after check out for a bit so we could go for a walk and make the most of the weather!

The bothy didn’t disappoint. Beautiful and peaceful. The cottage had everything you needed with a wood burner and hot tub which we enjoyed using . Chrissy was a great host , checking in to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay . I would recommend having breakfast at the potting shed and there also a lovely pub which is in walking distance. We had a lovely relaxing few days and wouldn’t hesitate recommending this beautiful place . We will be back !!!.

Would highly recommend staying here. It was warm and welcoming and the bed was so comfortable! Complete privacy, peace and quiet (apart from the sheep and lambs, but they didn’t bother us) The homemade brownies on arrival were a lovely touch. We are going to return later in the year. Thank you!

Perfect location for all the needs of our visit, super friendly and responsive host. Exactly what we were looking for

Firstly thank you Paul & Sarah for your directions. If you put the cottage post code in to your sat nav it will have you carrying out a U turn on the A31 so please note the directions given. The cottage is in a lovely location and was cosy, well furnished, well equipped and clean. The garden was lovely and great for our dogs but small dogs can squeeze through gaps in the fence (Paul is aware and is planning to block off any escape routes). There were fresh tulips and shortbread to greet us, which was a lovely touch, as well as lovely toiletries. Paul & Sarah were responsive to any queries or needs we had. There are lovely walks through the forest right on your doorstep. There is an outdoor hose for washing muddy footwear and paws. There are outside lights but the torch inside the cottage came in handy. We would happily recommend the cottage for a relaxing break.

Great little place as described, had everything you could want. Lovely cosy fire. Fabulous walks on the door step. Dog was welcome even some little treats. We enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful. Ian was responsive and always available, great communication. Definitely plan to return, loads more to explore.

I had a lovely short stay with my dog Rosie. The garden room was fantastic for working in, full of sun (i was lucky with the weather!). The house was really comfortable and spacious with a lovely open fire. Lots of nice dog walks too and the nearby town Stockbridge was cute with some nice walks too.

We had a lovely stay at Marion’s place. It is perfectly located in the centre of Bembridge village. The house is very clean and comfortable and has all you need for a relaxing break 😊

We enjoyed our second stay at the old barn, homely quiet location with walks nearby for our old dog.

Beautiful cottage in lovely, peaceful surroundings. Attention to detail was spot on with thoughtful additional touches like flowers, oat milk, decaf teabags that makes you feel at home. Would recommend to anybody looking for a cosy break.

Great stay! Nice little place, very clean, just off the high street near all the restaurants bars and shops!

We had a wonderful stay at Old Keeper's Cottage, Hazel was a welcoming, communicative and friendly host. I had mentioned that it was my husband's birthday and she left a card and gift for him.on arrival, which was very kind and appreciated. Our family had a fantastic time exploring the woodland and the boat house made a great spot for a picnic. We enjoyed a meal at the Silver Plough locally, a great recommendation from Hazel. We also enjoyed the Dutchtub. As is to be expected, it took some hours to heat up, but once ready it was very relaxing and worth the wait! We loved our stay and would recommend Hazel and her cottage.

Cathia was an incredible host and made me feel so welcome. I was staying with my bridesmaids for my wedding and Cathia made the trip extra special. She is super responsive and her place is beautiful! Thank you so much!

We had a great stay at Sally’s place. The location is amazing - right by a National Trust property. Beautiful walks from your front door. It is so picturesque. There were 8 of us - it was plenty big enough - 4 good sized bedrooms. Our bed was very comfortable. The main bedroom is large with a large en-suite. The kitchen is well equipped. The dining room and living room are lovely. There was a real Christmas tree in the dining room which was a nice touch. Sally was very accommodating and answered messages quickly. Definitely recommend and will be returning as there is so much to explore.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable, the extra touches were also very welcome. The cottage is well equipped with everything you need. Communication is really clear nothing is too much trouble. I would highly recommend Helen's place, we very much enjoyed our stay.
