Lovely place to stay, so peaceful and super comfortable bed with lovely hot tub, will definitely come again

We stayed at Forestry Cottage to celebrate both my girlfriend’s and my son’s birthdays, and it was truly the best place we’ve ever stayed! The host went above and beyond to make the weekend special—decorating with banners, balloons, and even surprising us with a cake. Their kindness didn’t stop there; they messaged us on the day of arrival to say we could check in early and, on the day of departure, told us we could stay as long as we liked, making the experience even more relaxing. The hot tub was a massive hit with the kids and was spotless, having been freshly cleaned between guests. The whole stay was comfortable, welcoming, and beyond our expectations. We can’t wait to return in the future—highly recommend!

We spent a lovely extended weekend at the barn visiting our family in Norfolk. The barn was clean, warm and comfortable and had everything that we needed. Jill and Phil were friendly and welcoming and check-in and check-out were easy. The super-king sized bed was comfy and the hot tub was an added bonus after a busy couple of days with the grandchildren.

Great stay, enclosed garden is very helpful for dogs. Very clean and hot tub is great !

Myself and my partner had a great stay at the cottage, it was very peaceful and had all the appliances and things we needed to enjoy a great weekend away. I'd love to revisit.

We had a fantastic stay at the house for a family get together and celebration. The house was in a beautiful location with lots of lovely walks. The garden area was a fantastic space for all the dogs to run around safely outside of the house. The house was spacious with lovely bright and sunny rooms and space for a cot for our 15 month old grandson. Coral made us feel very welcome with chocolates, wine and flowers awaiting us on arrival. Coral was also very helpful and responded very quickly whenever we contacted her during our stay. Thank you so much to Coral for making our weekend very special and we would definitely recommend the house to family and friends. Liz's country cottage was truly a perfect hideaway for our long weekend getaway (Mar 28-31, 2025). From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how immaculately clean and tidy everything was, both inside the house and throughout the grounds. The property itself is absolutely beautiful - exactly as advertised and even more charming in person. The location is stunning, providing the perfect peaceful countryside setting for a relaxing escape. We had an amazing 4 days here, and the comfort and beauty of this cottage played a significant role in making our stay so memorable. Everything we needed was provided, and the attention to detail throughout the property was evident. What a lovely, cosy cottage. It was beautifully presented with fresh flowers, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The welcome cake, Prosecco and milk were really thoughtful touches and gratefully received. Communication from our hosts was fantastic and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dog Cottage and can’t wait to visit again.

Just wow! The cosiest, most beautiful cottage, close by to shops and beach we didn’t need to use the car. Went on the Norfolk light express which was magical, then back to put the fire on, feeling very festive. Thankyou Fiona we will be back!

We had a lovely 3 day break in Myrtle Cottage. It was extremely cosy and clean and we felt right at home as soon as we got in. It was a really nice walk to the beach and also the recently refurbished pub just a couple of minutes walk away. The road that the cottage was on had some beautiful character homes on. Lucy was extremely helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend and I’m sure we will rebook in the future!

Just returned from a lovely weekend at Gaynor’s place. We found it perfect for our needs, a few minutes walk to one of Norfolks beautiful beaches. We walked into Bacton and had a delicious chip tea, we think you’d struggle to find better, even had vegan pies. Several places to walk or drive to if you choose or just relax back and enjoy the chalet and surrounding grounds. Gaynor is a very responsive and generous host with all the little added touches that go above and beyond. Thank-you.

Fantastic stay in Morston, 4 x adults and 4 x young children. The house has everything you might need and is a fantastic base for exploring the North Norfolk coast

A beautiful bolthole. Quiet, rural location, well equipped, clean and stylishly decorated, this little 3 bed cottage was perfect for our needs. A pretty three mile walk to Goodies (local farm shop & cafe) made the stay even better. I would thoroughly recommend this property.

A huge thank you to Sarah and Ian, who made our stay a fantastic experience! Beautiful cottage, amazing views and nothing was too much trouble for Sarah, wonderful hosts! The private hire swimming pool is definitely an added bonus! And of course the open fire!

Peace. It was just what we needed. The cottage was equiped with all we needed. Beautifly clean and the bed was not only a decent size but very comfy too. A win win. King size bed. The Spring bulbs were up & a rabbit visited us daily. Lovely to sit out and watch the sun go down. Parking just beside the cottage. All on flat ground. Did i say how peaceful? Thank you so much to Amy and Ben.

My partner and I stayed here for Christmas and we had the best time. We were greeted on arrival by Feri and when we entered the cottage it was spotless and had everything we needed. Feri and Steve were very friendly and attentive and responded quickly if we had any questions. Would highly recommend visiting here and we will gladly book again soon.

Fantastic little spot in Southwold just back from the coast. Feels very secluded but with everything on your door step. Lots of character and feels incredibly homely. Beds are a bit on the small side, but completely fine for a short stay. Would highly recommend for exploring Southwold and the surrounding areas.

A beautiful place to stay in with everything you could need for a long or short break. The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped ( we never ran out of glasses or mugs) and the garden was very secure. There was a great village shop next door and the access ( steep steps) to the beach were only a couple of minutes away and you could get on to a massive and very quiet beach. I would love to stay here again!

What a unique and quirky air b'n'b. Never stayed somewhere with ruins in the grounds that I can see from the bedroom window. So nice to stay in an unusual property that had all the quirks we love, but is still warm spacious and inviting. Fiona was very welcoming, positive and on hand when you needed her.
