First of all, the apartment offers stunning views of the Nile, and, on clear days, both Giza and Saqqara pyramids. The apartment itself is easy to get to and conveniently located less than 200m from a 24hr gas station/convenience store. Ibrahim was very accomodating to our schedule changes. He was flexible with check-in time and even followed up to make sure we were okay when we had some difficulty with phone signal. The apartment itself is incredibly spacious, with very good natural lighting. Beds and couches were clean and comfortable. The doormen at reception were extremely friendly, shaking our hands every morning when we came down and greeting us every evening when we arrived back. We did not have any interactions with neighbours but felt overall very safe in the building. Would definitely recommend this to any groups looking for an easy and comfortable place to stay in Maadi.

Fatma is a nice person, easy to communicate with. I did not stay for enough time to check everything, but what for 1 night it was a good choice, location is good and acceptably clean. I did not use the kitchen at all, so i can not comment on that. Fatma is trying hard to improve the space and i think she will do a good job.

I can't say enough good things about our stay at Houseboat65. I was there with five other folks - a couple & their two kids (8 & 11) and another single person. We had the three apartments on the second floor — perfect. I got lucky and slept in a gorgeous three-room space surrounded by windows, which filled the room with light. We spent a lot of time on the Nile-facing porches, chatting and having cocktails. It felt like our own little slice of calm and peace in busy Cairo. Jerome and the amazing Marie (we love you, Marie!) were beyond responsive: anything we needed (and that wasn't much: these spaces are well-stocked) or any time we needed assistance with luggage, etc., they were there in a flash. Marie served as our driver and top-notch tour guide for two days and wow - we felt so comfortable and well-taken care of. She knows the city so well and didn't hesitate to take us to some very far-flung locations. We can't WAIT to tell our friends about our stay and hope we get to come back!

My family and I had a great time staying at Ahmed’s place. The place was spacious and very comfortable and has a great view. It is very close to some wonderful restuarants which are all about 5 - 10 walk away. Ahmed was a great host and very prompt in responding to any questions I had. Definately worth the money. One point to raise and this is beyond Ahmed's control they closed the walk way along the Nile. Appears they doing some work so you could not use the walk way right next to the Nile. This did not destract from the great time we had. Would recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay here, you are sorround by bakeries and some restaurants, we moved mostly in uber and because of the location the travel times and costs where pretty low. The place is really nice and big.

I had a wonderful stay at Mr. Ali’s apartment. The place was clean, beautifully furnished, and newly renovated. It’s located in a secure and peaceful compound with 24/7 security. Mr. Ali was extremely kind and welcoming — thank you, Mr. Ali, for your great hospitality and for making everything perfect. I truly enjoyed my stay and would love to come back. Highly recommended!

you won't go wrong with Inas and her partners, this was the second time we reserved with this unit in two years, it is still great apartment and taken care of. but regarding inas herself she a wonderful person to deal with, thank you

Het appartement was super goed, een van onze beste appartementen die wij hebben gehad, Mahmoud en zijn vrouw waren super lief en ze waren behulpzaam, de uitzicht was super en zeker samen met het privé zwembad. wij gaan het zeker in de toekomst terug naartoe. Een echte aanrader!

we had a great time at Seif's place. our bags had been delayed by the airlines and Abdelleh was kind enough to help us with the shopping.
