This was our first visit to Cedar Creek Lake to attend a wedding in Murchison. We had a wonderful long weekend. The home is beautifully decorated and everything that you need is there. The property is lovely and peaceful. We enjoyed fishing, playing cornhole and sitting around the fire pit. The bed linens and towels were top-notch and mattresses very comfortable. Michael and Patricia are very easy to work with and extremely responsive. I highly recommend this home for your next stay.

If I could give this house more than 5 stars, I would! It is beautiful right when you walk through the door and see the water through the big back windows. So clean. So nice. Everything was easy to use and find. Full length mirrors in every room! (This is something I need when I travel.) I actually liked that there were no televisions in the rooms. I went on a girl's trip with some very picky girls and they loved this house. We would definitely stay here again. Locally, we went to the Tara Vineyard & Winery and loved it. We had pizza at Milano's, shopped around the boutiques on Market Street, got tattoos at Rogue Rhino, and hit up the Starbucks in Gun Barrel City a couple times. There were some great finds at The Velvet Vault or Glitter & Grace boutique! We had brunch at the Whistlestop Restaurant & Bar in Trinidad (The brisket benedict was amazing!). Those are just some fun ideas for you, that we did on our trip. Jalisco's Mexican restaurant had weak margaritas.

This was our second stay at Joel’s place. We love this house. It is a little pricier, but the location is great and you can’t beat the morning coffee on the porch looking out into the lake!!

We enjoyed our stay. The space was comfortable. The air conditioner worked great in this August heat. The king size bed was very comfortable. The marina was right next door. Great restaurants close in Seven Points and Gun Barrel City. Several places to fish or just enjoy the peace and quiet including the deck of the property.

We loved their home so much that this was our second stay. It feels like home away from home and was perfect for our family. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful spot for our family - we were always busy with cornhole, ping pong, pool, hanging out near the lake and bird watching. Loved being able to grill dinner and eat outside on the covered deck.

Great accommodative host. Very responsive. Well maintained home on the inside.

This was the third time we stayed at Jean‘s place. We absolutely love it and it is so relaxing. You can sit in a chair and fish right off the end of her yard and catch lots of big fish also genus always so courteous tells you to call if you need anything. Clay's place was great for our family of 10, and he was helpful in directing us to boat rentals. There was a plumbing problem our first morning, but Clay was able to get a plumber out to the house fairly quickly. Oddly enough, we realized we've stayed at this residence several years ago. It is much nicer since Clay took over and renovated the home. We would stay here again.

Loved staying at Vinny’s! My husband, son and I went for Labor Day. The Airbnb was exactly as pictured and described. Incredibly peaceful and so much fun. Our son is 2.5 so we REALLY appreciated the fencing between the house and the lake for safety reasons. The ladder to get into the lake actually was very easy to use. We brought our own kayak and life vests and were able to use them with ease. It is on the open part of the lake so not as still of water as if you lived on a channel but it was definitely fine and would have been better on a non busy weekend. Vinny, was incredibly responsive. So helpful, very proactive and we really appreciated his communication. We will definitely be back!!!! We loved this spot!

Great little cabin with a great view. We stayed in what would probably be called "off season" so it was a bit too chilly and windy to do much outside, but we weren't there on vacation, so it was ok. Cabins are very quiet, even in windy conditions. Bed was comfortable. Even though it is a "tiny home" there is everything needed to stay for an extended time.

This place is a happy house...i just couldnt stop looking at all the delightful pretties inside and out...a castle in Italy could not compare....its hand crafted pretties, extra goodies, lil fireplace, and decor envelops you with peace that creates an ambiance of pure tranquility....i did not want to leave... Tiny has other houses also with the same impeccable qualities...just cozy and homey....and everything is done by hand... Simply lovely...

This was a very nice place, very clean and had anything you could want or need. The host was very nice and I would definitly come back to this place and stay again. It was very quiet at night and felt very safe. The decor was excellent, very cute.

5-Star Stay at the Perfect Fishing Getaway! We had an amazing stay at this cozy two-room cottage on Lake Athens! It was the perfect spot for a fishing getaway. The dock was ideal for tying up our boat, making it easy to head out early in the morning or relax on the water in the afternoon. The sunsets over the lake were absolutely stunning—something we looked forward to every night as we sat on the porch and reminisced. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking up fresh meals, and the outdoor smoker was a fantastic bonus for preparing some delicious meals. The friendly neighbors even shared a few great fishing spots with us, which made our trip even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a peaceful lakeside retreat with great fishing, beautiful views, and all the comforts of home, this is the place to be. We can’t wait to come back!
