The description of the place is a bit limited, but the host very responsive and helped to set expectations: you are part of the family community, with a separate villa and outdoor kitchen. The family/hosts are super friendly; they have 5 little dogs, which are cute, and thankfully not an issue with my dog that we brought long. The beach is literally down the flight of stairs; although not much sand, the water is clean, blue and inviting. The co-host /owner named "Jess" is also an experienced dive instructor, and very chill/easy to set up a time and go. He's very patient and good instructor. Food: Tho not mentioned, the owner's wife provided dinner for a very decent price, and good amount of tasty food. Description says bring ur own stuff to cook, which is like camping; outdoor kitchen has basic utensils and functional. Best option is OMG restaurant the host recommended, a 9 min walk, with tasty food and nice outdoor atmosphere. It's a local experience and environment.

place was very pleasant. very accommodating sila nanay at tatay who was the caretaker during our stay. pet friendly sobra. medyo mataas ung stairs to access the resort and best time to swim is around 2Pm. 5 stars for me.

PROs The whole place looks like a paradise! Reminded us of Aloha beach and Sumilon Island in Cebu, its not as crowded. Very private, serene, and the water is so pristine. If only we could stay longer, we would! All the kitchen necessities/cutleries are available, they even have an airfryer! 👌 CONs Travel time was 3-hrs from Makati. If we left earlier than 8 AM and it wasn't a weekend, it could have been less. Commuting isn't recommended as it would be exhaustive and most likely, longer. The town proper is a 10-min drive from the Villa so its best to bring everything that you need. There are only two sari-sari stores in the area. The property beside it is being developed so expect some "audience" when you're swimming or having an Al Fresco meal in the waterfront. Not much of a big deal if you're not the "unbothered" type. Best to have Aqua Shoes, as some parts of the beach have dead corals that are covered in algae.

They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 10am. We got to resort super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Would definitely send a friend @ Papa G's beach have.

The host is exceptionally accommodating and takes excellent care of guests. They are highly responsive to inquiries and provide assistance until you are comfortably settled. The scuba diving experience was delightful, and to top it off, we received a complimentary kayak for the New Year. The location is tranquil, situated right by the beach (you can observe numerous Dory fish even in shallow waters). The accommodation includes a sink, kitchen utensils, and even a grilling option. We look forward to returning for another visit.

We booked this place at short notice. We were a large party and Jefril was very accommodating from the moment we made contact. From the moment we arrived the staff were welcoming and responsive to our requests. The bar was a great addition and the menu offered good food at very reasonable prices if cooking was not on your agenda. Boats were on hand to take you across water, plus a jet ski, diving and kayaking (needed maintenance) all available - again at reasonable prices - if you wanted to be more adventurous. The house overall was good although the photos were a little dated, but as long as you weren’t planning on spending most of your time in the house, it shouldn’t really bother you.

Our family loved our trip because when we arrived tired from the 3hr drive from Manila, we were welcomed by the calm surroundings of Banak Beach House. We were 5pax with 4 of our lovely dogs. There are not much resorts nearby so the beach area itself felt very exclusive and the tide is low and calm, there are also tiny fishes near shore. The house itself had cute old school decor which brings back memories. While there is no TV, you would not even notice if you are spending time with family but if you really need it, they actually also have wifi. The open area is nice to walk around in and the kitchen had all the needed cookware. The dining and living room is also great especially when there is a cooling sea breeze. Thank you for the nice stay :)

Enjoyed our stay even after the typhoon, the place was relaxing and a perfect getaway to relieve some stress

We had a great stay at Pico De Loro, an exciting and a new experience for us, even the place was too far, mountanious, zigzag road the excitement cannot be compare with other resorts. Our host are also great didnt expect they are too young!!! The place is so clean and with complete utensils. Thank you so much. Hope to be back again and I hope that we can avail discount not senior discount though hehehe.

Regina was very communicative all throughout the process. The house is very well kept and the views are awesome. The only negative that are the amount stairs and steps of the whole property. Not exactly physically disabled friendly. The views are very picturesque. It was great that the house is pet friendly. Regina’s caretaker, Inday, is such a great resource and a gem. Hopefully we can go back soon.

Great place for a private occassion like reunion, team building or vacation. Complete amenities and clean place. I love that all rooms has its own bathroom. The caretaker is very accommodating and helpful. Even though the beach was not that perfect for swimming, it is still a great scenery and they have a swimming pool which we really enjoyed. Overall, I would recomment the place if you want to have a private and peaceful place.

Our second stay here was as great as the first! The home is clean, serene, thoughtfully curated and with a beautiful view of the ocean and overall ambiance. Ate Karen the caretaker provides warm and hospitable service and Melissa is super responsive and a gracious host. Karen helped us arrange a boat ride where we snorkeled and even saw a dolphin! She could have also arranged in-home massages but we ran out of time. Later we found Lawom massage just a few minutes drive from Melissa’s place which we will definitely go back to at future visits! Just a quick drive to Altrove which is our favorite for delicious Italian cuisine.

Place is very well maintained and homey. The caretaker is also kind and hands on with us 😊 the stay comes with a free and unlimited mineral water too! Ms. Rica is very accomodating, even before we booked she happily entertained all our clarifications. 😊 The place is right in front of the beach, just what we were looking for. The sand is black and powdery smooth. The rooms were spotless and the kitchen is well equipped. I would just like to note a minor concern with the beach, there were pieces of broken glass (seems like from a broken bottle) in the sand. During our stay, we disposed 3 pieces. It would be best to address this to avoid unwanted accidents with future guests. Other than that, we loved our stay! 5 stars are very well deserved ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Anilao is one of the few places in the country where we keep returning because of its natural wonders, and Marian's Place is an excellent choice for a quiet and relaxing weekend getaway. All rooms and living areas have fantastic views of Balayan Bay. While the rooms don't offer air conditioning, this did not stop us from having a very good night's sleep. The night breeze, especially in March, was just right for us to relax at night. The staff is also amazing. Ate Cecilia was accommodating with the cooking, and Nelson was a valuable activity guide for snorkeling, watersports, and island exploration. He also helped us explore the surrounding coral reefs along the beach. We were even lucky to see sharks (small, friendly ones) in a nearby resort! Next time, we hope to see the sea turtles. Our family of six had a fantastic weekend! Thank you for having us.

We had a great stay! Perfect for family--kids and pets! Hosts were very friendly and we felt right at home.

This place is a gem! We had a wonderful stay for our mom’s birthday. The view is indeed breathtaking. We’d love to be back here. The host is responsive and kuya Mandy, the caretaker, really assisted us with all our needs. You just really need to prepare for cardio since the location is on a cliffside, you need to go down via stairs.

Super duper nice ng place. Nag enjoy kami buong family. Superb yung snorkeling exeprience lalo na provided yung mga equipments. Will definitely go back.
