We live in Australia and headed back to the UK. We wanted to catch up with old friends and this was the perfect place. Rooms were big and comfy and quiet. Living space was great for the size of our group. We went in December so didn’t use the outside space much but I imagine at other times of the year the garden would be amazing. Dave and Katie’s cottage is highly recommended. There were just four of us but it would have easily accommodated 6 adults in three rooms. All the facilities were good quality and the cottage was well equipped with lots of cooking equipment, Bluetooth speakers, lovely soft thick towels, comfortable mattresses, lots of wardrobe and drawer space for clothes etc etc. Getting access to the cottage was easy with a key safe. Dave and Katie responded quickly to messages and were very helpful when we needed a chemist. The location is excellent in the lovely village of Hartington with two pubs, a tea room, a general store and a cheese shop. There are walks from the house to nearby Milldale and Dovedale and the Tissington Trail is nearby.

Charlie & Rosie's house was fabulous & as the hosts they were very good at communicating! It was comfortable and peaceful, just what was needed. Perfect location, quiet & easily walkable to all the shops & restaurants! 10 out of 10! 🙂

Second stay at property: everything was catered for on this and previous visit. Great communication and hospitality. remains on list to use again.

Carrie's place is homely, clean and comfortable with nice little touches. She is very responsive and helpful and clear with messages. would highly recommend Carrie's place if anyone needed a place to stay.

We had a great 10 night stay. The house had everything a family could need including everything for a baby like a gate for the stairs, high chair, cot and baby bath. The house also had lots of games and toys perfect for a rainy day. The kitchen had all the appliances you need to cook food for a family of four including herbs and spices and a dishwasher. As well as a great washing machine, dryer and ironing board with all soap and detergents provided. There were plenty of towels, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner and hand soap was provided as well as cleaning supplies. Most importantly house was cosy and warm all the time despite the cold weather. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and the owners were very polite and quick to respond. Highly recommend!!!

Such a great place - as a previous review said: if you are considering it definitely do it! like staying in your own mini hotel - so interesting and quirky - great for a mixed group Rugby Six Nations in the snug complete with real fire close to the bar for some, pool tournament for some and champagne in the hot tub for others😊 Such a fab way to spend a big birthday Saturday. Kitchen was fabulous and, with it previously being a professional kitchen, everything was so accessible and easy to find. Breakfast hamper most welcome. In house dining by Viki was a real treat for our Saturday night. The beds were SO comfy...and so many fluffy towels everywhere! lovely setting - and the walk up Grinshill, as recommended by the hosts, was a must for those that do.. All in all the whole place and experience far exceeded my expectations for my extended family 60th birthday celebrations.. The pictures do not do justice to the size of the place.. Looking forward to our next visit

Had a lovely stay in Manchester - the house is modern, well equipped and spotlessly clean. My dad's disabled so having a bathroom and bedroom on the ground floor made life a lot easier for us. The house is easy to find and Lynsey's instructions made it really simple to access. The cupboards were stocked with all the pots and pans that you could need as well as plenty of basic essentials including tea, coffee, shampoo, shower gel, clean towels and a hairdryer! A large taxi (for 6 of us) into Manchester cost less than £10 and took about 10 minutes. A great home and I wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Great little find. Unfortunately it was only a place to lay our head before travelling from Manchester airport the next day. Really wish we could have stayed longer. Beautiful home, very clean and aesthetically pleasing! This is also such a well stocked Air Bnb and felt like all the little details had been thought of. Highly recomend. Thanks so much.

Grace and Daniel were great hosts. I had a wonderful stay, the accommodation was as described and walkable to everything I needed. The welcome package was truly appreciated and a nice touch. They were responsive and I will certainly return to stay with them in the future. Excellent experience, I will recommending their accommodation to all my friends and family who may visit the area.

Very recommended. Welcoming and very friendly hosts. Clean and spacious apartment. Many things available in the apartment: biscuits, minced pie, coffee, tea, walking guides and maps,... Close to very beautiful Peak District spots.

Thank you for hosting us! My husband, our 3-year-old daughter, and I stayed at Naz’s place during Eid to celebrate with our family nearby. The place was exceptionally clean and had a warm, homey feel. I often struggle with places being too cold, but the heating here was perfect, and each room also had a fan, which was a great touch. The master bedroom was my favorite, especially with the TV offering Netflix, YouTube, and more—my daughter loved falling asleep to her favorite shows. I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities, like the iron and ironing board, as well as a hairdryer (though I brought my own). The bathroom was stocked with toiletries such as toothpaste, earbuds, and hairspray, which not many places provide. The living area and kitchen were incredibly cozy, with a balcony overlooking the canal, Etihad Stadium, and Co-op Live. The sofa in the living room was super comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable. We had a fantastic time and truly enjoyed our stay!

From booking right through to check out communication was great. Incredibly detailed and clear instructions provided and regular checks were made to see that there were no issues. The apartment was spotless, incredible views and some lovely extra touches/treats provided (which were very much appreciated - thank you!). Highly recommend, thanks for a great stay!

A fantastic walkable location for coop live venue or the etihad stadium. Suzie was helpful and had brilliant clear instructions on how to access the property. Overall a lovely apartment and we would definitely stay again - thankyou for letting us stay in your lovely apartment!

This is our second stay in this property and as with our first stay everything was absolutely perfect. Cannot fault the property and its location and Mandy is a great host.

We had a perfect stay in this lovely studio apartment. Very quiet in a leafy road within walking distance to all the conveniences of Buxton. Parking was easy in the driveway. Access through a separate entrance adjoined to a main property. Upon entering there was a shoe rack which was handy for muddy footwear before ascending the set of stairs to the studio. The apartment contained everything needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. A separate sofa area for reading, watching TV etc, a kitchen to cook your own meals if required. Welcome gifts were a lovely surprise and much appreciated. The shower was powerful and hot. I can only imagine this studio must have a lot of returning guests because we couldn’t fault anything and definitely hope to return soon. The surrounding area has many walks from Buxton itself and within a short drive. We also visited Lyme Park which is worth the 30 min drive.

I would highly recommend this property. From check in to check out, James was very responsive and helpful each time I reached out with a question. The apartment looks like the pictures and it is a gorgeous property by the water. The apartment was fully stocked and I was able to make meals as needed. It’s a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood and I felt safe my entire time there. 10/10 would definitely stay here again.

What a fabulous gem nestled in the stunning Derbyshire countryside! Wonderful hosts who made us feel right at home, perfectly equipped accommodation and perfect for a stay with the dogs! The enclosed dog paddock was wonderful with enough room for them to run and play safely. The yoga studio was a beautiful place to practice and a real bonus to the stay. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back!

We stayed at Angus’ place for a little getaway, and it was one of the best breaks we’ve had in a while. The apartment shone for its attention to detail and beautiful interiors, it was well equipped and felt like a home away from home. We absolutely loved our stay and couldn't ask for better host❤️It's a beautiful flat with huge attention to details and small personal touches were super cute😊It's a great location and wee balcony was my personal favourite! Warren is awesome and never met another host who cared so much about their guests.Honestly couldn't fault it and will book again next time I'm in Manchester Massive thank you once again for making us feel so welcome❤️❤️

We had a lovely stay, at Anne & Phil's. Anne was welcoming and warm, the place was exactly as described, the location was peaceful, but also within a minute walk to local pubs and co-op. During the days we went for lovely walks, to Uppermill and also visited the historic Fort. Will definitely return.

Our stay at Anthony’s place was just the peace and quiet we needed on a busy weekend in Manchester. The flat was full of useful amenities which made our stay really enjoyable. The lovely bath was a highlight, and the living room and bedroom had excellent views over the north of the city (as long as you don’t mind heights!) The flat was in easy walking distance of Victoria’s train and tram services, and there are plenty of buses running down the Cheetham Hill Road, too. We would happily stay here again.
