My family and I had a wonderful winter stay at Watersedge Lakehouse. The cottage was beautiful, peaceful and comfortable. Our host made sure we had all we needed and was very helpful with instructions on staying at the cottage , checking in and local recommendations. The main living room was a perfect place to gather and have a warm fire while looking out at the water. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We also enjoyed the hot tub and the outdoor fire plus the deer wandering about. It was a great place for relaxing and making memories.

Our group of 6 ladies were looking for a quiet weekend get away and that is exactly what we got. Stayed in pyjamas all day kind of weekend. The place was immaculate, lots of rooms a s had everything we needed to cool our meals. Loved the kitchen with the great big table, a lovely meeting space for friends.

From the moment we started the interaction with Maham it was an easy and very communicative experience. We were expecting a huge snow storm for the drive there and back and Maham was very flexible with entry and exit times due to the inclement weather. Our family of 6 walked in the house and were pleasantly surprised with the layout main and lower levels, it worked out perfectly for our family set up! The place was clean, organized, and had everything we required! The views were spectacular and would expect to be even better in the Summer. The hot tub made it a more relaxing experience! Overall we would return as the experience was just what we were looking for on a Family Day weekend! Thanks Maham for such a perfect stay!

My partner and I had a great time at Mandie’s cottage. It was the perfect getaway. Whenever we had a question she was quick to respond. Will look to stay her again in the summer!

The place as very comfortable and more than enough space for our group. It’s conveniently located to the beautiful town and Arrowhead park. The sauna had a bit of an issue starting up and wasn’t used during our stay but we did enjoy the hot tub ..overall I would highly recommend staying here.

This was a great property to stay at. Karen was responsive and helpful to our questions. my entire group loved the property, the view and the amenities. Truly a great and relaxing weekend spent here. Definitely not the last time we come here, already planning another trip in the summer!

Emily was a great host! She accommodated our request for a slightly earlier check-in, as we were dropping our son off earlier at his camp. She answered and got back to me quickly. The house was clean and tidy, and the beds and pillows were very comfy, which made for a good night's sleep. We did not use all the amenities (ie. Hot tub) as we were busy most of the days snowmobiling. The trails are close. We did not access off the property as there was so much snow, no fault of Emily's at all; we just didn't feel like breaking trails through her property to get to the lake. Emily is a great host, and I would highly recommend her property.

We had a fantastic stay, and Tyler & Tyler were some of the most responsive and helpful hosts we’ve ever had. Upon arrival, we encountered a flood (not their fault), and when we reached out, they immediately took action. They were proactive, knowledgeable, and incredibly solution-oriented. They tried to get a plumber out, but when none were available, they left at 4am for a 4-hour drive to fix the issue themselves, arriving by 8am and resolving everything within an hour. Their dedication, flexibility, and kindness truly went above and beyond. Not only did they handle the situation with professionalism and care, but they were also genuinely friendly and welcoming. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to fully enjoy our stay. If you’re looking for amazing hosts who truly care about their guests, look no further. Highly recommend!

We are a family of four with two young kids, and the stay in Azar’s peaceful waters cottage was great. The cottage is beautiful, decorated in very good taste, perfectly equipped and feels very homey. It is very clear that many details have been thought of to make it extremely friendly for guests, particularly for families (for example, there were spare change of sheets in the children’s bedrooms). We stayed there during a snowstorm weekend, so there we didn’t do a lot of travel around the area, but just staying in and hanging around the cottage was beautiful and very enjoyable. The location is very private and quiet. It is a perfect place for families. We would definitely come back to Azar’s cottage to visit the area at other seasons as well.

We discovered the perfect secluded getaway in this beautifully maintained property. The grounds were consistently plowed during snowfall, making our winter stay worry-free. The main cottage comfortably accommodated our group of 5, featuring a fully-equipped kitchen and a thoughtful welcome kit with snacks and coffee. Two full bathrooms with provided toiletries made sharing the space easy, and the comfortable beds ensured restful nights. The clean, spacious hot tub was perfect for relaxing after outdoor activities, and the reliable wifi kept us connected. We enjoyed both the excellent heating system and the cozy wood fireplace, all while taking in beautiful waterfront views. Killbear Provincial Park, just 40 minutes away, offered excellent winter hiking. Quick tips: bring extra towels as only one is provided per person, and pack slip-on shoes for travelling between cottages. While water has a slight odour, it tastes perfectly fine. We’d love to return in the summer! Highly recommend!

My family and I had an absolutely relaxing stay at Vanessa’s cabin ! From the moment I booked, the communication was so seamless. Vanessa was incredibly friendly and very accommodating especially during the beginning of our trip when we first checked in. The home itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I could ask for. The location of the cabin was absolutely stunning; the view of the frozen lake made waking up in the morning feel very magical (especially with all the snow fall we received those days). I also appreciated the thoughtful touches Vanessa added to our trip such as having firewood ready for us to use and shovelling the pathway from the driveway to the cabin. I felt so at home and couldn't have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend staying here, and hope to definitely come back! Thanks again, Vanessa, for making my trip so memorable!

We were stuck due to weather but were given opt o ns and allowed to stay till able to get out. Vety nice spot, clean and comfy. Would come again.

We loved the cabin and can't wait to return. Everything was in great working order and squicky clean. Our stay was an absolute pleasure.

The family call it the "Snow Globe" Cottage !!!! Couldn't have asked for better cottage to spend the New Year period with the family and friends . The architecture, spacial planning & interior design is amazing. The home had 3 great living spaces on the main level and an additional in the lower level. This was a great benefit with the older kids and friends. Kitchen is rockstar status !!!!! couldn't fault it and we all loved the coffee station. The fire place that is opens to the lounge room and the dinning area was the big hit .... so nice and provides great ambiance. The beds were incredibly comfortable and super clean. Loved the master bedroom and ensuite ... perfect !!! The property with the fire pit, BBq and waterfrontage was perfect .... even with all the snow. 100% recommend the Snow Globe to anyone looking for a beautiful high quality cottage !!!! Thanks for an amazing stay :)

We had an incredible stay at Lionel’s cottage in Port Loring! The view from the property is absolutely stunning, and the cottage itself was clean, spacious, and perfect for our group of friends. The pictures truly don’t do the place justice—it was even better in person. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable getaway. Highly recommend for anyone looking to escape to a beautiful and peaceful spot. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Natalie and Matt’s. Great little bunkie right on the water. The surrounding trees made it feel more private than expected. The sliding screen doors and full windows on both the bedroom and living area made the space feel so open and breezy. The space was clean and had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable and had the feel of a hotel bed with nice clean linens and lots of pillows. Natalie was great with communication and gave us clear instructions. She was super friendly and was available anytime we had questions. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb for anyone who is considering it!

Had the best time at Matthew’s cottage. Loved the private hiking trails, the sauna, hanging out in the screened in room at night, view right from the deck, lots of space inside. Matthew is super helpful, & responsive. Such a unique & private setting (we & the kids especially loved the little water crossing from the car to the cottage, made it feel like we couldn’t go anywhere and had to “unwind from the hustle of everyday life”, but in reality such a short distance we could go back to the car whenever needed) . We will definitely be back! Thanks for hosting our family Matthew!

Very responsive host, easy to communicate with! When something is missed by the cleaner, frank was able to help us with solution. The place is very quiet and peaceful, very recommend for small families.

We enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with family at the cottage. Cozy, clean and everything we needed! Gorgeous and peaceful lake views and nice walking around the area. Playground nearby for the little kids and big kids too. Would recommend.

Ryan and Bryan were amazing hosts! Super responsive to anything I needed and the place was adorable. It has everything you need. Located across the street from a beautiful river, backs onto a forest and about a 10 min drive into town. I’ll definitely be back!

Hilltop Hideway is extremely comfortable recreational facility which can satisfy everyone. This cottage is very well equipped, with a lot of space to relax. The facility is very modern with most updated amenities. It is tremendous location, close to Arrowhead and Algonquin Provincial Parks and with the short distance to Huntsville. The host Igor was responding to any inquiries friendly and on time. We can strongly recommend this facility for those looking for: relax, outdoor activity and those wanted to explore all attractions listed in the cottage leaflet. Group of friends from Toronto: Iwona, Barbara Z, Barbara L, Margaret, Andrej, Michael, Gregory and Victor.
