Our stay was peaceful and the view from the front porch is just as spectacular as always. Wonderful place to stay.

Amanda’s place truly exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a nice bottle of wine by the host. The property itself was immaculate and tastefully decorated, blending modern amenities with charming, rustic touches. The living area was spacious and inviting, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. Another highlight was the outdoor space, which featured a cozy patio with comfortable seating perfect for stargazing in the evenings, or looking at the creek not too are away. The location was also a huge plus; it was conveniently situated near WCU, yet peaceful enough to enjoy a quiet retreat. Overall, this Airbnb provided an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend it!

Absolutely wonderful! It was just my husband and I, but this place would be awesome for families or several couples. Lots of room, fun games, well stocked. The views are incredible - so peaceful and relaxing while staring at the mountains and the lake. Highly recommend!

Jack & Silvia, thanks for letting us stay in your place we had a wonderful time peace and rest!!, loved the mountains, the pantry had plenty of stuff we could use, utensils, pots and pans like home , sometimes you get very basic things , which make it hard to prepare meals while away that's an A + to me the kitchen has everything needed, also some basic cleaning stuff, there is no way a house is going to stay clean a week with children, that is an A+ to me, I would definitely recommend this place !!

My family and I loved staying at Eva’s house! We stayed here for a month while looking for permanent housing and we couldn’t ask for a better place! It’s beautiful inside, very warm and homey feeling and the covered porch is so peaceful to sit and watch the birds and squirrels. Our son loved the basement area, while my husband and I loved the privacy and the trees, very peaceful and relaxing.

We loved the Casita. You're literally on a mountainside, with the most beautiful views imaginable. It made this mountain gal very homesick for Colorado! Description says 4WD/AWD - and they mean it. Wonderful indoor area, very clean. The deck outdoors was beautiful and was two levels. Diana was a great to communicate with - always reachable. Thank you so much for the wonderful stay - we're looking forward to staying there again.

this was a beautiful home! we loved the area, we stayed here while we went to polar express, which was only about a 30-40 minute drive. They had so many great little amenities which make a big difference, like having hair bows, q-tips, a first aid box which came in handy with the kids. There was plenty of room for everyone. The host was very responsive and very helpful when it came to check-in and check-out. we definitely plan to book again.

We had an amazing stay at this amazing house. The photos don't do the view justice, it's an incredible view. The house was very clean and comfortable, and the hosts very helpful! The town was only 20 minutes away too which was convenient.

Our stay at the cabin was absolutely perfect! The cabin itself was gorgeous—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything we needed. It was the ideal spot for our family to spend the holidays. The surrounding towns were charming and full of amazing places to visit. We especially loved exploring the nearby waterfalls and hiking trails, which added so much adventure and beauty to our trip. This getaway was everything we hoped for and more. We can’t wait to return!

Wonderful! The original place we booked was canceled due to frozen pipes, leaving us without a place to stay. Thankfully, we found this place and could not have been happier! Beautiful views, great deck, and overall a wonderful space! Also, Stewart was very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend!

We’ve been coming to this part of NC for years and years and have stayed at lots of vacation rentals, this one is top of our list. It was well appointed, cozy, and met our expectations. We travel with young children and it was a safe space for them and the sound was well insulated during bed time- which is a big deal. We had everything we needed. Would definitely return!

Sundrop Community is secluded and peaceful. Met the neighbors, everybody was super nice. Townhouse was perfect for what I needed. I was there to fly fish Caney Fork and the access to 2000’ of riverfront property was great. Two wood burning fireplaces were awesome (bring your own wood). Sundog were amazing and very helpful. The only negative I would say (it is not really negative), the listing indicates it is good for up to 6 people-I would disagree. Although there were 2 mobile air mattresses this place IMO is suitable for 4 people. Would definitely stay again.

The view was everything we hoped it would be and more. We spent most of our trip by the fire outside looking at the waterfall. Overall, the house was everything we needed for a great get a way weekend. Very easy drive into town as well. Shawn was also great and very responsive to my messages and very friendly as well.

Well worth the price. Private spot that exceeded my expectations. Me and my fiance spend a 3 day weekend here and absolutely loved it. Cabin was spacious and very nice inside. I absolutely plan on coming back. This was my favorite airbnb I’ve ever booked.

Wow! What a treasure Beth's cabin is! Sparkling clean, not a single cobweb! Cozy, cute, and comfortable with a gorgeous mountain view! Coffee on the porch while listening to the water fall in the creek and enjoying the sun rise over the mountains was very therapuetic! Beth is a five star hostess, super friendly and love her Boston, Boz!!!

Great, dog friendly spot. Pam was perfect, and she bailed us out in less than 5 min when we locked ourselves out. Great screened in porch and fire pit by the river. Spacious kitchen. Attention to detail for pets was FANTASTIC including a trash can with doggy bags outside! Also, LED lights on stairs that are motion sensitive??? Niiiiiice

Silvia's tiny home was amazing. It was so "homey" from the moment we walked in. She put so many amenities in this small space. And it didn't feel crowded at all. She thought of EVERY. SINGLE. DETAIL! The home was spotless! And the bedding was so comfy. I'll definitely stay there again when we visit WCU.

I can't say enough about how special this home is. It is just what you want a mountain house to be, warm and cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed and some extras such as beautiful china that was available to use. We enjoyed the wrap around porch so much. It is the perfect spot for relaxing, reading or napping! This is a great find in a perfect location close to town. I want to visit again thanks to Laura for making the process so easy.

We couldn’t have had a better host than Nicholas. We had first scheduled our stay for a different weekend, but Hurricane Helene caused us to have to cancel. Nicholas was indeed proactive as he was watching the weather forecast along with us & completely understood our circumstances. As he had been so gracious we were happy to book this rental again for the redo of our reason for being in Highlands. Once again Nicholas was readily available in meeting all of our needs. The house was spacious, cozy & comfortable. And the drive into town was a brief straight shot. Thanks Nicholas! It was great!

Chris was very nice and communicative during our stay. My partner loved the place and so did I, especially the hot tub. Would highly recommend as a place to stay if you are in the area looking to check out what’s there. The waterfalls are beautiful!
