Our stay here was great! The hosts were very accommodating. We were evacuating from Florida during hurricane Milton with two young children. The hosts helped make the trip as smooth as possible for us. In addition, the cabin was very cozy with a beautiful view. We plan on making a trip back there next year!

The host was absolutely customer service friendly. The location is tucked away and in a nice, secluded area. I enjoyed the experience and the residence was beautiful. I will definitely use the services in the near future.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Unfortunately, I was violently ill and couldn’t explore the nearby parks and trails as planned. However, the cabin was so cozy that staying in to recover was actually perfect. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the peaceful, quiet setting made it even better. The host was very communicative and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again!

The place was great my wife and I loved it…it was peaceful and quiet. The jacuzzi was wonderful. The place was clean. The only issue was ants in the cabin but that’s hard to control being out in the woods. But other than that we loved it.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary there and it was everything we were hoping for. We enjoyed the hot tub looking out into nature, the fire pit was awesome at night, and the inside of the cabin was comfortable and clean. We also had great communication with the owner(s) before, during and after our stay. The cell service was a little spotty but they do have WiFi at the cabin to compensate for that. It’s right next to FDR so there’s plenty of trails and things to see/do. Speaking on food, The Bulloch House in warm springs is 15 min away and is wonderful. We’re already planning a trip to come up and stay there with some friends soon. Awesome experience.

Amazing cabin! Exactly as described/pictured and super clean. Host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any questions. We enjoyed every minute of our stay, but those minutes in the hot tub were the best.

My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and wanted to go somewhere romantic, clean, peaceful, & we found just that at Slma’s place! We enjoyed the view and my husband even made us dinner on the campfire! What an amazing trip!! We will be bringing our children back for a family trip real soon!!! This will be our new family getaway destination!! Slma is friendly and welcoming and super helpful and responsive if you need anything at all!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

A tropical storm prevented us from being able to stay at Christopher’s lake cabin, but he was the kindest and most understanding host we’ve ever experienced. He was able to assist with our cancellation and encouraged us to book another stay in the future. We look forward to booking again!

We enjoyed our stay! The cabin is charming and was spotless upon arrival. Convenient location for hiking and relaxing on the porch!

We enjoyed staying in your cabin .. We needed a chair but we were ok. Also a frying pan and A big pot for the kitchen. The can opener did not work so my son purchased one which he left. It was just what we wanted staying there. Very quiet.

This place has been beyond amazing. After our home flooded and our family had to be disrupted, we were able to walk in and feel right at home. We live local so it has been great. When we got settled, the weight of all the stress we were dealing with just melted away. Mrs. Laura has been amazing and very attentive. We loved this place so much, we extended our stay. With our kids and foster loves plus our pups, the porches having gates and the fence between the house and water has been perfect for our family. My husband and I have a large family and everyone was able to have their own space. Our kids have enjoyed the lake, woods, stairs, and so much more. One of our younger boys even caught his first fish. While on our stay, we unfortunately had a death in the family and it was so nice to have our extended family over to fish and just relax. The scenery and privacy has been so peaceful.

I rented this cabin for a few days for self care, it was perfect! Extremely quiet and peaceful. I was able to set up several stations on the sectional, one for cross stitch, reading, crossword puzzles and even a place to watch some Law & Order. Sam also provided jigsaw puzzles and I completed one, first time in many years! The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and each morning I was treated to a good shower, water pressure was great. I texted Sam a couple of times and he assured me to call anytime with concerns. That was comforting to me since this was a solo visit. Sam is a great host and I loved it all! Joyce

Words can't describe how Patty's property makes us feel.We have visited a couple of times so far and we will never go anywhere else as long as she is in business.She is super sweet and we absolutely 💯% love this property.I wished I had all the money in the world cause I would offer Patty's half of it for that cabin lol.We are very grateful she lets us visit and we think a lot of her!

This was an amazing getaway! I hope I can find a house for myself one day that emits that much relaxation and peace! Close to shops but great if you want some cozy nights in! Can’t wait to come back!

Great cabin in a good location to the surrounding attractions. Everything was extremely clean. All the beds were very comfortable. It was a perfect place to have a family get together. I would highly recommend and hope to return again.

I have to say Bert was more than accommodating to our needs , he allowed an early check in time and due to the extreme humidity the AC was working hard to keep up we wasn’t sure if something was wrong with the unit so we had messaged Bert and within a few hours he had an HVAC company there to service the unit and this was greatly appreciated. I would recommend this place to anyone that is gong to be in the area. We enjoyed our stay from fishing and kayaking in the lake to just sitting and enjoying movies with our kids. Thanks again for sharing your home with us!

My family and I enjoyed Christmas at The Gambrel House. The house was home away from home. Very peaceful and cozy.

Very nice, quiet place. Owner is very friendly and helpful, responds quickly. Nice fire pit with wood provided. Everything and more that comes with a regular hotel.

If your looking for a quiet get away for a few days or week with the whole family this place has everything you’ll need to enjoy your time. Kick back and relax or take a drive to a near by town. You’ll feel right at home. Enjoyed our stay and will definitely return in the future. Side note the host is amazing!!!

Me and my fiancé stayed here for one night on the way to Florida and it was beautiful! For almost the same price as a decent hotel room you can't beat having a whole property to yourself. There is a beautiful seating area outside along with a porch and small lake! We came in when it was dark so we couldn't see much of the surrounding area but in the morning the area around the house is beautiful! Everything was super clean and the host even had snacks waiting inside for us. The hosts were super understanding of our situation and when we needed to move the date almost 2 weeks later they had no problem accommodating us. Overall it was a a great experience and would recommend this home to anyone that needs a night stop or just anyone who is looking to vacation in the area!
