We had a great time at Heather's place. The cottage was decorated beautifully. We love the hot tub and the backyard lighting around it. Everything was set up with a timer and it's pretty good for us to not have to worry about it. It's so good to have two firepits and the supplies to start the fire. The local convenient store is a short drive and has everything we need when we ran out of supplies. Coffee, hot chocolate, tea and all the snacks are nice treats. It is very cozy and the surrounding is gorgeous. The heater in the house can be quite annoying at night for someone staying on the daybed. We were warned about the noise in the instructions but couldn't do much about it or change the sleeping arrangement. The beds in all rooms are all very comfortable and if the heater issue can be somehow addressed, that would be much better. (the heater just turns on and off way too frequently) Overall, we had a great time! Heather and Michael are very friendly and responsive hosts. Thank you!

Cabin Bjorn was everything we expected - and more! Set on a beautiful property surrounded by tall trees and the Irondale River, it truly is a slice of paradise. We were so fortunate to spend four days here, relaxing and unwinding. Cassidy’s a fantastic host and we hope to be back this summer!

Wanda’s cozy little cabin was the perfect spot for a relaxing winter getaway! Her place exceeded the photos, as soon as we walked in Wanda already had the wood stove fireplace going so that the place was warm and cozy when we arrived. She was extremely pleasant and responsive when we had questions and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave! Would definetley recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

Location was perfect for a weekend away! Cottage was stunning, extremely clean and organized the pictures don’t do it justice. The linens, beds, furniture, hottub, sauna, everything was well kept. The kitchen was fully stocked of every appliance and kitten tool we may need during our stay. Hosts were very quick to respond with answers to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend this Airbnb. We had the most relaxing weekend ever!

I had a great time staying here and have already looked at when I can come back. It was beautiful and so peaceful. The view was great and I thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. The bed was super comfortable as well. The door was a little difficult to get into the first time but he gave instructions on how to get in another way. Loved the little touches like leaving a treat for my dog and also having extra dog toys.

Dan’s place is by far one of our favourites! My family stayed here for 5 days to celebrate my birthday. It was exactly what we needed. Plenty of relaxation and surrounded with nature. The wood fire hot tub is the best. Plenty of space for our dog to run around outside as well. We love to cook so kitchen is perfect for us. It’s well equipped and my husband learned to make a latte. It was amazing! I would highly recommend it and we can’t wait to go back ♥️

This was my first time ever booking through Airbnb and our hostess Meghan has raised the bar. I traveled with my family from Kingston area and we were so pleased that it was close to our ski adventure at Calabogie. It truly was an oasis! i would recommend this place to all my friends and family! I cannot wait to book again next year!

Our stay was absolutely magical! The cabin is so cosy and comfy. It feels rustic and peaceful like we wanted but also so well equipped - these guys thought of everything! The view onto the lake is stunning, and we loved the windows from the living room and sleeping area that let you look out onto it. We were very blessed to see some otters playing out on the ice on our final morning, so definitely keep your eyes peeled for furry friends! We hiked some of the private trail before turning back due to rain, and found it to be very easy to navigate and took a beautiful route through the trees. If you're coming in winter, definitely heed what the hosts say about the hills up and down to the cabin, they are steep. But they kept the road up to the parking area well clear, and provided sleds and snow shoes to bring our stuff down, so there was no issue with access even with all the snow. Can't say enough good things about this place, we will definitely be back!

Our stay was amazing! We went in the beginning of October and there was hardly anyone there. The environment was absolutely stunning, the fall rhapsody was in full effect. There also was a tone of stuff to do, like a dog park, hiking, canoeing, badminton, etc. the cabin itself was small but very cozy. Just remember to bring warm clothes and bedding if you go in the fall because there is just a small heater. We were very comfortable though. Thanks for such a lovely stay!

This place exceeded all our expectations. The host is phenomenal. His responses were always fast, extremely friendly and understanding. He was very accommodating with our date changes (due to a military move) and made our process super easy. The place is stunning. Even better than the pictures. It’s open, spacious, with lots of modern, high end touches. I have already been recommending this place to all my friends. It’s a must stay- in the winter or summer. Our second stay at Nicks retreat, just as great as the first time! 40 mins drive to Algonquin park, cute bakery and shops in maynooth and a large yard for a full game of football

This Romantic Cabin is a must to go visit , it is in spotless conditions and there is lots to do around , surrounded with beautiful forest view , inside you have everything you ever wanted staring from kitchen items and spices down to sunglasses , very well oriented and easy to use , nice bathtub with hot and cold water , we never ran out of power or water plenty to use. Beautiful fire pit with lots of wood to use, Peter is very helpful host and the best host out there , and will respond immediately if you needed help with anything. Instructions are straight forward. My girlfriend and I are really looking forward to coming back to this beautiful romantic cabin !!!! ITS A MUST TRY !!!!

We loved our stay at Hailee’s cabin! The location was remote, peaceful, clean, and well decorated, exactly as described. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive at all times. The river is too low for swimming, probably due to lack of rain this season. We were there to enjoy the crisp fall weather and fire place, so it wasn’t an issue for us, just something to keep in mind if you’re looking for a place to swim every day in the summer. Overall, a great place to stay and a wonderful change of pace being off the grid!

We had the perfect stay while at “Rowe’s Cabin” starting the new year in a quiet and peaceful setting. The hosts shared the story of the land and the cabin, including its history, adding to the experience and atmosphere for us that we really valued. They recommended going to Barron Canyon and we made sure to make a stop on our way out and it was the perfect ending to or trip, we were the only ones on the trail making it so much more whimsical. We snowshoed around the cabin and quietly sat in the window, playing uno, in the evening watching deer and wildlife coming up to the cabin for an hour or two. It had snowed the day we got there so it felt extra disconnected and relaxing. The hosts made sure we felt comfortable and safe in the cabin, we often are out in the woods during all times of the year and the hosts make this cabin experience in the woods fun and within reach to anyone new to the being in the woods or have more experience in the woods.

Great spot, beautifully decorated. Exactly as per the photos. 5 min from hiking and 15 min to Bancroft which has everything you need. Pretty close to the highway but we honestly didn’t notice. Perfect for couples or young families.

My husband and I wanted a quick getaway , somewhere rustic,quiet and close to water. We found Janet’s cabin just what we were looking for. Everything from the check in to the amenities met our expectations. Would definitely recommend Alexanne cottage rentals for your getaway adventure. We feel totally relaxed and rested ! We had a great stay at Quianna's cozy and warm little cabin. The cabin was clean and well kept. She informed about the shops and restaurants nearby and that they shutdown early so we could plan accordingly. Best place to stay while you explore the Algonquin park highway 60 corridor.

It is a beautiful home with all the amenities. The host was great and very helpful, from driving instructions to recommendations. Definitely going to go back!

We had a really great time at Cathy's place. The cabin is cozy and quiet, and it had everything we needed and then some. The sauna is an excellent touch! Cathy was very responsive to our messages and made sure we had everything we needed. We would be very glad to visit again!

This is a wonderful and cozy cabin experience for a group of 4. The place has a lovely history and is preserved that way with attention to aesthetics that take you back in time. Debbi is a warm host and although we didn’t get to meet in person she was quick to respond and provided all the necessary details during our stay. Good parking space, private location and beautiful nursery and nature around the property. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Algonquin provincial park during the fall season. On a loué ce merveilleux chalet pour la semaine de relâche. Très spacieux et bien aménagé. Parfait pour un gros groupe. Beaucoup d’activités et de jeux sur place. Nos adolescents et leurs amis/es ont adoré. À quelques minutes des pentes de ski. Dîner et bière au Redneck Bistro - super! Bien apprécié la communication avec nos hôtes (mention spéciale à Sue). On compte y retourner, peu importe la saison. Merci!
