Had a great stay during a long weekend with my girlfriend. The place was clean, the view was gorgeous, and the public access point was great for people watching. Met the owners and they were very friendly too.

SO CLEAN IT LOOKS BRAND NEW! This luxurious cottage is the perfect spot for Algonquin adventures. Spotlessly clean, and only five minutes to Algonquin's East Gate, there is a wealth of information on all the trails the park has to offer. We cooked all our meals in the fantastic, well equipped kitchen. The design is incredibly beautiful and thoughtful, all our needs were anticipated and met. While the outside front of the cottage is a bit busy, the inside has nothing but gorgeous views of the water and park. After hours hiking on the trails, we were grateful for the shower and comfy bed (really high quality sheets!). The driveway was well maintained and easy to access in winter and Roberta was friendly, supportive and easy to communicate with. A VERY CARING HOST!

My stay was comfortable and relaxing! I love this house it’s so unique and fun. My son and I loved it. We found it feels sort of like a fort which we loved. The host is so relaxed and go with the flow it was so refreshing!!! Definitely give her a 5 outta 5 I will certainly stay here again and I recommend this place to anyone else who is looking for a airbnb in Bancroft area! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

We had a wonderful time and experience. Hyacinth was very responsive and helped us out with our questions and concerns within the hour. The check in and check out was very well coordinated and she even immediately provided us with extra linen when requested late in the evening.

This was my second stay at this location, and again it did not disappoint. The hosts are incredibly thoughtful with the small touches, and in our case this time they braved a true blizzard to ensure the Valentine's hot tub was available. The location is perfect. The view is perfect. It's a cozy place in the winter (I've been both times in the winter), but I can tell it would be and incredible summer stay.

Helena was amazing. Exceptionally helpful and accomodating when we ran into issues on our end. Would definitely recommend this location and definitely would return!

We had a great time. Sir Sam’s ski hill nearby. Hot tub was great for those days when ski hill was not an option. There is fast internet at the cottage. Very private and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

Place was very equipped with everything you need to a perfect getaway from the city. Extra blankets and sheets. Host was quick and very friendly with her responses. Would definitely recommend for anyone trying to just kick back and relax

Wir hatten einen sehr guten und ruhigen Aufenthalt. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur empfehlen vorallem für Leute die einfach mal ein paar Tage entspannen wollen.

I think Mary is one of the, or even the, best host we ever had on AirBnB. She and her husband Garry took the time to answer all our questions, come up with recommendations, and even lend us gear to be prepared for the snow. Their place was cosy and spacious, with all the needed amenities present. Their place was so clean, it made the stay without any stress. The included breakfast was very delicious and ensured us to be able to start the day well fed. Overall this would be a place to come back to and something we would suggest our friends and family to.

Amazing place to stay in Bancroft. Close to the Main Street and surroundings. We arrived late and she made sure to keep the outside lights for us! Very caring host and great little place to stay. Comfortable beds and super clean bathroom.

Our stay at the cabin on Golden Lake was absolutely perfect! As always, we were warmly greeted by Cindy, whose friendly smile and attentive care make every visit feel extra special. The cabin was already warm upon arrival, and its cozy ambiance welcomed us for a relaxing weekend getaway. We were delighted to find delicious Lindor chocolates waiting for us—a sweet and thoughtful touch! The log cabin itself is absolutely charming, with its 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the cabin was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The terrace offers stunning views of Golden Lake, where you can enjoy ice fishing or skating right outside your door. Plus, we discovered an incredible skating trail in the nearby woods—an absolute must-try for outdoor enthusiasts. We can’t wait to come back again. We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy cabin! This was our 4th time coming back, and it never disappoints. The snowshoe trails are fantastic, offering great adventures right outside the door. We especially enjoyed the outdoor winter fires – a perfect way to unwind after a day in the snow. The cabin itself is so warm and inviting, truly the ideal spot for a cozy winter getaway. Tammy and Donna are such wonderful hosts, always going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Arriving at the cottage was how the pictures were. We went in March and it was cold, but walking into the cottage part the heat was on and we felt right at home. Kitchen & bathroom well stocked. The fireplace was great to have to add warmth. Beautiful scenery looking over the lake from a chair or sofa. A place we would rent again.

This was our third time staying at the Dream Cabin and each time is better than the last. Roman and Irina are the ideal hosts with their quick response times, easy check-in instructions, lovely hospitality and overall friendly people who never hesitate to answer questions or assist in any way. It’s truly a place of paradise and we will be revisiting for many more years to come. Thanks Roman and Irina!!

My partner and I had a wonderful long weekend at Krista's bunkie. It was so warm and cozy, a perfect place to hunker down over a snow stormy weekend. Krista was very friendly and responsive, she reached out a couple times throughout our stay to ensure all was well and to see if we needed anything. The bunkie is fully stocked with all the essentials you'd need(paper towels,Kleenex,salt,pepper,olive oil etc.)and is super homey. Overall, super peaceful and relaxing stay- Highly recommend!

Best cabin-in-the-woods weekend ever! Perfect spot for hiking, kayaking, movie watching, and board games. Bill went above and beyond to make the trip go smoothly.

Cabin Bjorn was everything we expected - and more! Set on a beautiful property surrounded by tall trees and the Irondale River, it truly is a slice of paradise. We were so fortunate to spend four days here, relaxing and unwinding. Cassidy’s a fantastic host and we hope to be back this summer!

Wanda’s cozy little cabin was the perfect spot for a relaxing winter getaway! Her place exceeded the photos, as soon as we walked in Wanda already had the wood stove fireplace going so that the place was warm and cozy when we arrived. She was extremely pleasant and responsive when we had questions and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We loved it so much we didn’t want to leave! Would definetley recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.
