We found a very clean and large house, with a nice welcome surprise, the house was very well equipped, especially the kitchen, the terrace overlooking the ocean in a picturesque, quiet village, very good contact with the owner, she immediately responded to current problems and tried to help as much as possible, we fully recommend this place

We absolutely loved our stay at Clinton’s place. It was the perfect couples getaway. It is a very peaceful and private location with fantastic views of the surrounding Levada and the sea. The apartment is beautifully presented and thoughtfully and lovingly designed. Everything is new and high quality. Kitchen has all the amenities to do self catering, and the hot tub was an absolute highlight. Our hosts were very responsive and friendly and provided really helpful instructions regarding check in and check out. We will definitely be booking to stay again. A fantastic experience all round!

Es war wirklich toll. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, die Betten super gemütlich, es ist total ruhig, die Aussicht unfassbar toll.

Die Unterkunft von Mario war ein Traum 😍. Er hat einen super Einrichtungsstill und es fehlt an nichts alles war vorhanden inkl. zwei Hängemätten. Die Unterkunft befindet sich zentral in Funchal und doch war es ruhig am Tag sowie auch nachts. Mario war ein super Gastgeber der auf Nachrichten sehr schnell reagiert hat und einem auch super Tipps gab für die Umgebung. Ich würde jederzeit wieder die Unterkunft buchen 😊.

We really enjoyed our stay at Maria's place. It was very clean and comfortable. It has lovely views of the ocean and great location to discover the whole island. There was also everything we needed including the basics for cooking like oil, vinegar, salt and herbs. The only small downside was that the town was a little too far to walk but there are a couple of restaurants that can be walked to. Maria was great at giving us recommendations and helping out when we had issues with our flights.

Eva's place is incredible. It is even mover than the photos. It sits in the mountains with the best view of the Sao Vicente valley and surrounding mountains. There is ample indoor and outdoor space for taking in the views. It is also extremely thoughtfully designed and equipped with everything you need to feel at home. Eva is really helpful and thoughtful too. Some people mentioned that the drive is difficult, but it's actually really easy if you have a small car. After the second day, I was navigating it all very confidently. The place is secluded, but there are a couple of grocery stores within a very short drive.

So ein schönes Haus auf dem Berg. Man hat die Meerblick. Rui sehr hilfsbereit, er hat beim check in uns sehr geholfen. Man muss richtig Autofahren können wenn diese Unterkunft buchen. Am besten nutzt den Weg nach der Anweisung von Vermieter. Die Umgebung ist fantastisch, sehr ruhig und sehr privat. Wir werden Auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Geweldig, heel schoon en ruim verblijf met fantastisch dakterras! Bed sliep heel goed, rustige omgeving, handig dat er een kleine supermarkt direct om de hoek zit (lekkere broodjes ook). Grotere supermarkt in Calheta op 3 tot 4 kilometer. In de woning heel veel kastruimte en ook de keuken was van alle gemakken en allerlei spullen voorzien, incl was-, afwasmachine en droger. Angela heeft werkelijk aan alles gedacht! Communicatie ook steeds prima, ook vooraf al. Als we weer in deze omgeving van Madeira komen, kiezen we zeker heel graag weer voor de mooie woning van Angela!

Had a lovely stay. The apartment was just as it was stated on the description very clean and well presented. the surroundings and view was amazing.

Perfect accommodation for two couples. Always nice to have two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms plus an extra 1/2 bath. Nicoline and Odete were very responsive. 10 minute walk to many great Old Town restaurants. Our favourites were the Three House restaurant for their French Onion Soup. Better than anywhere. Also enjoyed La Pasta for delicious pizza and pasta dishes.

Alles hat wunderbar funktioniert und die Wohnung war einfach toll. Sie lag allerdings höher als wir durch die Fotos gedacht haben. Ein Auto ist also ein Muss. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt!

We had a wonderful time. The apartment is as you would expect it from the photos. Julie is a great hostess. Check-in & check-out were flexible and uncomplicated. Julie is always there to help or give valuable information. On our day of departure she drove us to the airport. When our flight got delayed overnight, she picked us up again and offered a room for the night in her Bed&Breakfast. The next morning she drove us to the airport again. We are thankful for the great communication and readiness to help. We will probably come back some time.

Die gesamte Anlage ist der sehr sauber und ruhig. Die Wohnung ist modern und klar geschnitten. Die Ausstattung der Küche für einfaches Kochen gut ausgestattet. Leider liegt der Balkon den ganzen Tag im Schatten (Reisezeitraum im Februar), im Sommer ist man damit bestimmt gut aufgehoben. Wenn man Sonne möchte geht man ein wenig und ist am Pool. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Only a short first stay in Funchal but this was the perfect location right in the old part of the city and close to quirky streets, beautiful restaurants, the cathedral and many other things including the old market. The host was communicative and very friendly and it was definitely worth another visit: highly recommended

Great place where to stay for visit Madeira - quite, not a lot of people around, met more cats as they came visiting often :) terrace amazing, nice view to Madeira and ocean!

Apartment was fantastic for a weeks stay, beautiful views and easy access to the pool facilities, as well as a short walk into Funchal. We also hired a car and the parking outside was super convenient and easy to pay through an app when it wasn’t free (20:00-08:00 most days) Similar to some other reviews the bed was slightly uncomfortable but that was a minor blemish with every other aspect being great! Thanks for the great stay!

Perfect location! Convenient and functional apartment

Apartament idealny dla rodziny. Byliśmy tylko we troje ale spokojnie jeszcze troje gości by się zmieściło. Apartament zadbany, łóżka wygodne, posiada wszystkie udogodnienia.Wymagane było tylko umycie sztućcy oraz szklanek. Okolica jak w opisie. Super piekarnia Flor do Garaju , codziennie kupowaliśmy tam świeże, pyszne bułki z batatów. Dobre restauracje. Do tej najlepszej -A Traineira ok 30 minut pieszo ale naprawdę warto! Do plaży cały czas z górki. Do kolejki 10 minut pieszo i można zjechać . Plaża spokojna, kamienista. Pod blokiem przystanek autobusowy, w 20 minut dojeżdża się do centrum Funchal. Poza tym warto mieć samochód. My dzięki temu zwiedziliśmy prawie całą wyspę. Plusem jest miejsce w podziemnym parkingu. Z przyjemnością przyjechałabym jeszcze raz do tego samego apartamentu. Polecam!

We've stayed at this flat for six days - the location is great, we found everything we needed nearby, including grocery shops, car rentals and bus station! There is a large parking area right under the balconies and a pool we unfortunately didn't have time to use. Chayanne was very nice to us, really helpful and friendly, and we were overall very happy with our trip. Thanks, Chayanne!

Dejlig lejlighed. Skønt med gratis parkering i kælderen. Tæt på lufthavn, vand og Funchal. Senge og hovedpuder lidt hårde og dyner lidt kolde. Venlige værter. Kan klart anbefales.

The apartment is secure, clean, quiet, comfortable and furnished in a very relaxing style. The kitchen is well equipped with kitchen-ware, you lack nothing. The bed in the bedroom is very comfortable, you sleep well. There are plenty of storage places at your disposal, wardrobes with hangers, hooks to put your outerware. The terrace is "the icing on the cake"! A place for relaxing while enjoying the view! Carlos is very service minded, you feel that he honestly wants you to have a problem free stay. He is very thoughtful, there was breakfast in the fridge, fresh fruit on the kitchen table and even a bottle of wine. Appreciated! You have walking distance to restaurants and sights. Good to know: Funchal is a downhill/upphill town... Time for summary: our stay (two weeks) in Carlos apartment was flawless, you get a "home from home" feeling! This was the perfect place for my family of 4 for 5 nights. Roberto met us for check-in and guided us into the garage, easy to park and utilize the remote control. From there you access the elevator to the 5th floor. The condo is exactly as it looks in the pictures. Our 2 adult children were with us and the room situation was ideal. The weather could have been better, lots of rain, wind mixed with some sun. I chose this over some other homes because of the amazing patio with a view, we didn't use that much due to rain.We ate at Francos the second night, which is around the corner, it was good, but we discovered the streets closer to the water and hotels, and ate in that area the next three nights. We also found a great breakfast/coffee shop called the LOFT in the same area, super yummy and so reasonable. The kitchen was fine, and worked for breakfast on a few days. Good to know there is a washer, but no dryer, so you have a drying rack. We loved our stay here!

Bardzo pomocni i komunikatywni gospodarze, miejsce zgodne z opisem, nic nie brakowało, nie mam żadnych zastrzeżeń ani uwag, z balkonu piękny widok :)

Perfect place for our first visit to Madeira. Really liked the area. Enjoyed strolling along the coast in both directions. Shopping centre was really convenient and great local places nearby. Felt very relaxed and at home.
