We stayed here for 1 week and had a great time. Apartment is very spacious, even for 2 people. Kitchen equipment is well maintained, allowing us to cook most nights. Location is very good getting into Funchal or around the island for hikes - easy access for the car space helped with this too. Finally, the balcony pic advertised doesn’t do it justice at all - beautiful view of Funchal, the mountains and the sea.

Excelente localização, na zona do Lido mesmo em frente às piscinas oceânicas e do clube naval. Vista maravilhosa o espaço limpo e aconchegante, as instruções do Jorge foram claras. A única coisa menos boa é realmente o estacionamento nem sempre está disponível. Sem dúvida recomendo e se regressar á Madeira vou com certeza tentar ficar no mesmo alojamento.

The condo is just as described and has an awesome view of the sunrise and moonrise. Hearing the waves crashing just below was soothing, even when it was stormy outside. We found it to be close enough to all the places we wanted to go with a rental car. We went into Funchal numerous times, did a jeep tour with a levada walk, a whale/dolphin watching tour where we saw some pilot whales, drove to the east side where we saw some spectacular views from the cliffs and tried for sunrise at Pico de Arreiro but it was too windy and rainy to see anything. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great!

Die Wohnung ist wie auf den Bildern zu sehen gut wie zweckmäßig eingerichtet, eine Waschmaschine ist gerade auf Reisen unverzichtbar. Der Balkon im obersten 6. Stockwerk mit Fahrstuhl bietet eine schöne Übersicht mit Teilmeerblick. Die Innenstadt ist in wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen. Funchal wie auch Madeira insgesamt ist einfach nur wunderschön und bietet vielfältige Möglichkeiten wie auch die Landschaft von Bergen bis Meer bei klimatisch gerade in den Wintermonaten traumhaften Bedingungen. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber, das Bett/Matratze angenehm und im Haus ist es im allgemeinen ruhig, sodass sich gut schlafen lässt. Elena ist eine sehr freundliche, ausgezeichnete Gastgeberin, wie es besser nicht sein könnte. Insgesamt habe ich den Aufenthalt sehr geschätzt und würde diese Wohnung bei Elena jederzeit sehr gerne wieder buchen. TOP!

I really appreciated my time at Nuno's. The listing is exactly as stated - clean, easy to access, comfortable bed (if you like a medium mattress). The apartment is located on the west side of Funchal in a residential area. So if you're looking for a bustling city experience, this won't be it. If you're looking for a place to relax & be close to everything by a long walk or by car, this is the place! I rented a car and I could always find parking. I highly recommend renting a car if you want to explore Madeira!

Great location, beautiful panoramic view, super convenient that parking is included. Hosts were super responsive and helpful, there was terrible rain during our stay and they brought us umbrellas ❤️

Das Apartment ist super sauber, sehr ordentlich und perfekt ausgestattet. Der Parkplatz für ein kleines Auto ist Goldwert! Obst und Getränke wurden zur Begrüßung bereitgestellt, das war eine sehr schöne Geste. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit tollem Bankon und gut ausgestatteter Küche. Es gab sogar Dosen zum Mitnehmen von Essen für unsere Wanderungen. Sehr nah am Flughafen und an Funchal gelegen. Perfekt für Ausflüge!

Maria&Luara were fantastic and helpful hosts. The location of this apartment cannot be underestimated.This is the perfect location for Funchal and day tripping the entire Island. Having a place to park a car is bonus too as this gives flexibility to tour the island by car or take off on foot around Funchal.The property is steps to all the great restaurants,shopping and parks not forgetting the harbor right infront of the apartment too.Lots to explore on foot nearby thanks to the location.The balcony/terrace is huge and wraps around most of the apartment giving a spectacular almost 360 panoramic view of Funchal harbor, city and surrounding hills.This view is amazing at night and especially around Christmas time as absolutely everything is lit up with Christmas lights all around the city and up and down the hills and this balcony is truly the best place to see all this while relaxing with a drink on a mild evening. Also the view of the sunrise was also spectacular from the balcony deck.

Great escape from Funchal! I was on the fence about booking a second place for our 5 day trip, but the serenity of Seixal at this place was a trip highlight. In addition to the balcony and patio views of the coast, the home was modern and clean. 100% recommend!

Das Apartment war wirklich klasse.Sauber, traumhafte Aussicht. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war unkompliziert, er war jederzeit erreichbar. Wir konnten 2Std vor der verabredeten Zeit in das Apartment und am Abfahrtstag wurde uns ein Taxi organisiert.

We stayed in this apartment as a family of four, and it offered plenty of space and comfort. Amenities like the washing machine, dishwasher, and fast internet made our stay especially convenient. The location is excellent—close to Funchal and attractions on Madeira’s eastern side—and although the apartment faces a busy road, noise was minimal at night. We would happily stay here again.

Definitely worth the money. Spacious apartment with 3 seperate rooms, bathroom and well equipped kitchen. If you rent a car, this is the perfect starting location. The only unconvenience was that there wasn't a place where we could let dry our clothes and the apartment doesn't have any heating.

I’ve stayed at many Airbnbs and Pedro is the #1 host, hands down. He was friendly, accommodating, easy to communicate with and held high integrity. There was some construction with one of the units (which was beyond Pedro’s control) and he was genuinely concerned if it affected us (it did not take away from our wonderful experience!) The bright decor, comfortable space and the sounds of the ocean make this place the go to stay in Madeira. Would happily go back our next visit to Madeira!

Appartement très agréable et tout équipé (matériel de cuisine, linge de bain, guides pour les visites,...). Calme avec une grande terrasse profitant d'une magnifique vue mer, village peu animé mais avec tout de même quelques restaurants et bars, idéalement situé pour visiter Madère. Paulo's property is very well equipped. Beautiful ocean views. Great location. Easy bus ride or Uber to the town of Funchal. Great pizza restaurant down the street. We hope to be back sometime soon. Thanks so much for everything.

The location and apartment suited us very well: right next to the beach with a lovely pool and view, quiet but easily accessible from the aerobus; and with other bus routes and shops within walking distance, as well as the seaside promenade. Rui Miguel really made an effort to provide all sorts of useful info at relevant times, and was always very responsive and friendly. We had a very pleasant experience.

Zuerst danke Jose und Maria, dass wir bei Euch wohnen durften. Nie ist alles perfekt. Aber wir haben uns in dieser Wohnung einfach sehr wohl gefühlt. Nur das zählt. Neuwertig. Sehr sauber, gross (2 Badezimmer, 2 Schlafzimmer... Für uns Luxus) gut ausgestattet. Dazu der tolle Ausblick auf die höchsten Klippen Europas. Wir kannten die Gegend schon. Daher hatten wir diese Wohnung ausgesucht. 400m zum Levada nach funchal und Camara de Lobos. 500 m zu unserem Lieblingskaffee. Viele neue haben wir entdeckt. Buslinie 02 hält vor dem Haus und fährt direkt Funchal Zentrum. Ca. 1000m zum Meer zu unserem Lieblingsstrand und Restaurand. Was will man mehr. Den Swimmingpool des Hauses haben wir wetterbedingt nicht genutzt, die grosse Garage auch nicht (kein Auto). Das war unsere erste Reise mit airbnb. Daher waren wir etwas skeptisch nervös. Umso glücklicher sind wir, dass es so gut funktioniert hat. Danke. Gerne wieder.

The apartment itself was clean and tidy and had everything you would need for a relaxing stay in Madeira, being a private apartment having a pool was an added bonus. We had a fantastic stay at this apartment in Funchal. It was spotless, well equipped, and had a stunning view. Upon entering, we felt immediately at home. The host, Marina, was incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Madeira.

Ricardo is a great host, he greeted us by the apartment which made the check in easy. The apartment itself felt like home, it had everything we needed for our stay. The location is perfect, you can see the sea from the balcony which is lovely. 5 stars from us!
