Ik was samen met mijn 3 kinderen bij Mauricio begin maart. Bij aankomst kom je door een heel mooi authentiek deel van Ponta Delgada, met een smalle weg naar je verblijf. Je verblijft midden in het authentieke deel. Dat is waar ik van houd maar eigenlijk niet duidelijk beschreven staat. Je wordt wakker van de natuurgeluiden, heerlijk. In de woonkamer en de tuin heb je een mooi uitzicht op de woeste kustlijn. De ommuring (die het mooie uitzicht gedeeltelijk belemmert) is geen overbodige luxe als het waait en dat deed het veel tijdens ons verblijf. Vanuit het huis zijn prachtige wandelingen te maken. Wij hebben in de plaats zelf geen restaurant bezocht. Wel een in een plaatsje verderop op aanraden van Mauricio, niet toeristisch en heerlijk lokaal gegeten. Ik vond alles op Madeira goed te bereizen met de auto (we hebben elke dag uitstapjes gemaakt zowel naar oost, zuid als west) vanuit deze lokatie. Ik kom graag terug om nog meer van het mooie Madeira te zien. Marieke

We had a wonderful 2 days stay at the house. outside has lots of nice seating areas, perfect place to eat breakfast and dinner. The kitchen has every supply that we needed to cook. Overall a great house to stay.

Nous avons beaucoup aimée la maison, tranquille, bien située. La maison est bien équipée. Le vue est exceptionnelle et les couchers de soleil étaient magnifiques. Les matelas étaient corrects. La literie parfaite. Le stationnement privé sur place. Nous y reviendrons sûrement. L'hôte Emmanuel est très rapide pour nous aider. Merci beaucoup pour cette belle casa portugaise améliorée. Et un beau cadeau de l'hôte, produits régionaux.

One of our best AirBnBs ever. Exactly as advertise, Sofia's place is large, comfortable and beautifully situated. Jardim do Mar is our favourite spot on our favorite island. Would return to Sofia's place again and again - unfortunately next year renovation is planned but the current house is wonderful. Sofia is extremely helpful and responsive - I don't remember ever waiting more than 15 mins for a response. Our 5 weeks stay flew by. Highest level of recommendation.

Das Haus weiß zu überzeugen mit persönlichen Touch und toller Ausstattung! Die Highlights sind der Garten, der Pool und die geschmackvoll hergerichteten Badezimmer. Auch die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war reibungslos und verlief sogar proaktiv, so wurde das fehlende Tischtennis-Netz ohne Hinweis eigenständig nachgereicht. Wir würden wiedergekommen!

A property set in a stunning location, the views of Funchal were amazing. The property has a private pool within spacious grounds. The house is well equipped with everything a family needs, particularly the kitchen. Carlota and Babi were easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any correspondence.

It’s a great little place to stay. There will always be some cats to be your guide to and from the car. There’s fresh local produce available which is delicious to cook with. The views are spectacular and for the price, this is amazing value in Madeira. Since you are in the center of the island basically any location is an hour driving max. It’s worth it to reverse/ turn around in the parking spot so you are facing forwards when leaving. Try to see where there are grills over the gutters to avoid damaging your car and leave enough space for other guests. The main thing you have to be sure to figure out as soon as you enter is to leave the two dehumidifiers on all the time, and to turn on the space heater in the bedroom and the pellet fireplace as soon as you get back. This takes a while to get used to but is essential to be comfortable in low temperatures and high humidity.

Wir haben uns in Anas Wohnung rundum wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist sehr großzügig, schön eingerichtet, super ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Ana hat uns sehr freundlich begrüßt und mit allen wichtigen Infos versorgt. Sie war auch jeder Zeit erreichbar und reagierte sehr schnell. Madalena do Mar ist ein ruhiger kleiner Ort und war für uns die ideale Ausgangsbasis für unsere Touren in den Westen oder Norden. Aber auch Funchal ist schnell erreichbar. Im Ort selber gibt es gute Restaurants und man kann herrlich direkt am Meer entlang spazieren. Besonders schön war zu jeder Zeit der Ausblick aus dem Wohnzimmerfenster aufs Meer. Wir würden jederzeit wieder in Anas Wohnung unseren Urlaub verbringen und es gibt von uns eine klare Empfehlung für diese Unterkunft. Liebe Grüße Andrea

Rundum schön, hier kann man in zentraler Lage dennoch gut zur Ruhe kommen. Das Appartement ist gemütlich und man kann es sehr gut dort aushalten. Wir waren viel in der Umgebung wandern und sind gegen Abend zu Fuß in die Stadt gegangen. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig, wenig Autoverkehr. Eine klare Empfehlung - wir würden es uneingeschränkt wieder buchen.

Great stay! I stayed here for 10 days and wanted for nothing. The host is super friendly and very helpful if you have any questions. The flat is clean and well furnished - just like the great sea view.

O espaço corresponde ao anunciado, equipado com tudo o que precisa caso opte por cozinhar no apartamento, o que não foi o meu caso. A anfitriã é muito prestável e até sugere locais para se visitar ao jantar. O melhor mesmo é a vista do apartamento sobre a baía do Funchal, com uma vista para o nascer do sol que é fantástica.

we had a great stay in Catherine's apartment. this is a fantastic and superior apartment which is very well equipped with everything in terms of cooking facilities, utensils etc and is very comfortable and relaxing . The Balcony is spacious with fantastic views of the harbour, ocean and town. The rooftop pool and gym are an added bonus . we had the pool to ourselves on most days during our stay. there is a really good fish restaurant just along the street and the main bus stop for funchal etc is just at end of street we would reccomend this apartment to anyone planning a stay in Camara de lobos. The apartment was very clean with all new equipment . There was some road noise during morning traffic but not too bad as just single lane one way street and there is good standard of double glazing. Catherine and Anna Maria communicated well with us at all times and ensured we had everything we needed.

Ótimo espaço com uma excelente vista e uma boa localização. Muito fiel às imagens do anúncio. O único aspeto que creio que podia melhorar é a roupa de cama.

I’ve stayed at many Airbnbs and Pedro is the #1 host, hands down. He was friendly, accommodating, easy to communicate with and held high integrity. There was some construction with one of the units (which was beyond Pedro’s control) and he was genuinely concerned if it affected us (it did not take away from our wonderful experience!) The bright decor, comfortable space and the sounds of the ocean make this place the go to stay in Madeira. Would happily go back our next visit to Madeira!

Great check-in experience, marvellous house, we felt right at home. We spent 5 days in Karol’s home and had an excellent experience. The house had all the amenities one might need. The area is quiet and private, the surroundings are beautiful. We recommend this host to all guests. Thank you, Karol! :)

We really enjoyed our stay in this calm house nested among banana plants. All facilities are clean and the bed is comfortable (with plug points, tissues and storage on the side panels). Nice view from the terrace. We particularly enjoyed the great attention to detail - this place has everything you may need! Excellent hosting - lots of recommendations, complimentary fruits and drinks, quick and efficient communication. Strongly recommended.

Estivemos hospedados 9 dias nesta casa maravilhosa. Não há nada a apontar. A Lina foi muito atenciosa e respondia com rapidez as nossas dúvidas. A casa tem excelentes condições e espaços amplos. Aconselho muito este alojamento

5 gwiazdek to za mało aby ocenić to miejsce. WIelokrotnie odwiedzałem Maderę, jednak to miejsce jest wyjątkowe, zupełnie jak jego Gospodarz! Świetny, bezpośredni, ciepły kontakt. Dom z duszą, czuć że nie jest to miejsce jak inne. Prywatność na 100%, ocean tylko dla Ciebie, piękne zachody słońca, niebo, które rozjaśniają tysiące gwiazd. W domu jest wszystko czego potrzebujesz - WSZYSTKO! Zawsze zadaję sobie pytanie czy bym tam wrócił, tutaj jest jedno odpowiedź: chciałbym tam zostać! Joana jest nie tylko gospodarzem, to ona uosabia ten dom: przyjazny, ciepły, otwarty! Schody, które prowadzą do domu są wymagające, jednak po kilku dniach stanowią nieodłączną część prywatności, którą daje to miejsce. Ten dom ma tylko jedną wadę: nie chcesz go opuszczać i z niego wychodzić. Wszystko to co opisałem można skwitować jednym słowem: "Genialnie" i tyle. Teraz kilka słów prywatnie, Dziękuję raz jeszcze! Dla mnie i mojej rodziny to były wspaniałe wakacje! Do zobaczenia jak najszybciej!

Rakastimme asua täällä. Vietimme miltei 2 kuukautta kohteessa. Asunto tarjoaa kaiken mitä lomakodiltasi odotat. Keittiössä valmistat omat herkut jotka löytyvät vain 5 minuutin kävelymatkan päästä supermarketista. Olet lähellä kaikkea mutta silti tarpeeksi kulman takana että voit nauttia rauhasta ja hiljaisuudesta. Duarten kanssa kommunikointi toimi moitteettomasti ja sen lisäksi että hän oli avulias niin jäi tunne että hän on tosi kiva 🤗 Suosittelemme kohdetta kaikille jotka haluavat lomalta mutkattomuutta. Erityiskiitos vielä siivojalle. Hän oli niin ihana ja piti meistä huolta. Tämä arvostelu on kirjoitettu suomeksi joten toivon sen kääntyvän hyvin myös muille kielille. Suuri kiitos! 10/10

Ein warmherziger und herzlicher Empfang von Martine und Richard. Sie haben uns ein wunderschönes Haus in einem grünen geschützten Garten, das mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet ist, für eine entspannte Zeit überlassen. In diesem portugiesischen Kleinod kann man sich wunschlos und pudelwohl fühlen! Es fehlt einem an nichts, an alles wurde gedacht und alles ist modern und hochwertig. Martine und Richard waren sehr charmant, fürsorglich und perfekte Gastgeber. Vielen Dank für dieses freundliche und unvergessliche Erlebnis! Ines und Stefan

If you're looking for a quiet area to get away from the crowds in the cities this is a wonderful place. It's nestled in the mountain valleys near Ponta do Prago but quite near the ocean. We loved our 6 day stay at Frederica 's. She provided good, clear instructions to get there. She also gave us very useful information on local attractions, restaurants and supermarkets. The house is on a very steep pitched road so walking up and down it can be a challenge ( we are in our 70's ) We did it a few times. There is a walk from her house to the waterfalls . It took us about 2 hrs. Rnd-trip but it was well worth it. If we were to return we'd go back in April or later.

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Manuela und ihr Mann sind sehr hilfsbereit und antworten sehr schnell auf Nachrichten. Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig, eine schöne Terrasse mit Katze, die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und hat alles, was man benötigt. Uns hat es gefallen! :)
