Lovely neat little apartment in a busy area but high enough up to not be too noisy. The lift is a real bonus, and it’s close to everything! Perfect for 2, I wouldn’t want to fit 4. Huge balcony with plenty of shade works beautifully as an extra room. We had lots of problems with the Wi-Fi but the hosts were very responsive and had it fixed fairly quickly, though it did end up very slow. I’d recommend and would stay again.

Wir wurden schon vor dem Anreisetag mit allen wichtigen Informationen versorgt. Der Kontakt war sehr freundlich und herzlich. Apostolis hat uns sogar eine zusätzliche kostenlose Übernachtung angeboten, da wir bereits einen Tag vorher mit dem Flugzeug angekommen sind! Über den gesamten Aufenthalt zeigte er sich überaus hilfsbereit und meldete sich täglich, um sich zu erkundigen, ob alles in Ordnung ist oder wir Fragen haben. Er stellte uns eine Google Maps Favoriten Liste zur Verfügung, in dem gute Tavernen und Sehenswürdigkeiten verzeichnet waren. Wir haben mehrere Tavernen davon probiert und waren sehr begeistert! Über die Zeit von 3 Wochen brachte uns Apostolis dreimal leckere regionale Gebäckstückchen vorbei. Außerdem dachte er auch daran, uns Wechselbettwäsche und frische Handtücher zu bringen, obwohl eine Waschmaschine in der Wohnung war. Das war alles ein wirklich ausgezeichneter Service und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Dazu kommt die traumhafte Lage des Hauses!

A really great apartment, super close to the beach (aprox 50m), close to supermarkets, restaurants, bars. Everything you need is a few min away. The apartment was delivered super clean, in the fridge I had a cold bottle of water and a bottle of apple juice, fruits on the table and butter&honey. Christos was very proactive, I locked myself out of the apartment (closed the door with the key inside 🤦🏻), I wrote him on airbnb and he was there in 10 min to help me out. Overall, a great place to stay in Rethymno and a super host !!!

היתה לנו שהות מאוד כייפית ונעימה. בעל הוילה היה אכפתי ודאג לכל מה שהיינו צריכות. אנחנו שומרי כשרות והוא דאג לכל ממש נצטרך אפילו בשבת. בהחלט נמליץ לחברינו להגיע ולהינות מהחוויה הבלתי נשכחת.

Our stay was absolutely amazing, we had a delayed flight so Giorgos gave us very clear instructions of how to get to the property and how to check ourselves in The villa is in a very peaceful village amongst the mountains and there is a very friendly neighbour next door who kindly offered us his vegetables and invited us to the nearby tavern The villa itself was spotless and matches the pictures exactly, all expected amenities are provided. The kitchen (outside and inside) was equipped with everything you could need There is a supermarket at the bottom of the hill that is excellent for everything you might need Giorgos was very responsive with any queries we had and it was no trouble getting hold of him whenever we needed him Would definitely recommend if staying at this property that you get a hire car, as it is in the tops of the mountains and a taxi to the airport was €35 and to the bottom of the hill roughly €10-€20

Bei Vagelis war das Ankommen wie in einem Zuhause, sehr gemütlich, sehr freundlich, sehr hilfsbereit, immer ansprechbar und unkompliziert. Wer Ruhe sucht der findet sie hier. Es ist für Ausflüge ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, nicht weit an den schönen Strand von Episkopie, leicht viele Tavernen mit dem Auto zu erreichen und schnell ist man auch in der Stadt Rethymno . Der Pool ist besonders groß und schön zum schwimmen, fühlt sich an wie ein privater Pool ! Der Zimmerservice war sehr gut, es gab immer frische Handtücher und wurde sauber gemacht. Es ist eine sehr einfache Unterkunft, aber sie bietet alles was man für das tägliche Wohlfühlen benötigt, ohne viel Schnick-Schnack. Besonders sind auch die Sonnenaufgänge und Sonnenuntergänge hier zu genießen - direkt vom Appartment hat man eine fantastische Aussicht auf die LEFKA ORI Berge und die Olivenplantagen rings herum.

We were two families with two children and spend a week in Lena’s house. The villa is specious and comfortable. Pool was nice and clean. The house is in a remote location so you do need a car for everything, but you are in a less touristy and quiet spot of Crete and you can reach most of the top attractions within an hour drive. It’s about 15min drive to the nearest beach and 45min to Rhetymno town. It’s also easy to go to the mountains.

We had a super time with Stefani and Antonis. The villa is super, the pool was warm, the area quiet, and the view down to Herssonios and out right to the mountains was lovely. We chose it because it was walking distance to some shops and restaurants. The village is lovely and a short 5-10min walk from the villa. We were at the very end of the season, so many of the restaurants in the village closed, but we always found somewhere to eat. Herssonios is a longer walk away (maybe 30 mins) and has supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants galore, even after the season ended. We found the walk downhill to the town, and back uphill to the village fine, even with 2 kids. Herssonios itself didn’t hold much charm for us, but we found a taxi to Agios Nikolas (delightful), Heraklion’s museum (more engaging for us than the Athens archeological museum), and Rethimno (lovely old town, laneway cafes, long stretch of beach) filled enough of our days. And with a heated pool to return to, no complaints.
