I have stayed here before. Really love the Deck, the view of the river, the local area of antique stores and shops. Mike was great. Check-in was easy. You do have to climb stairs, so if you can't do that, it might not be for you. However, it is worth it because the view of the Mississippi and Illinois river is fantastic. Everything was just great. I am sure we will be staying here again, as we come back to STL every other year to visit.

Doug was a great host, had a bit of trouble finding the exact location but Doug responded fast with clear step by step instructions. The code to get in is the phone number you have on your profile and I forgot to update my number and didnt remember my old one so I had some trouble getting in. Doug once again responded very quickly and had one of the baristas who was very friendly and helpful come up to help us get in. once we got in we were absolutely blown away! it was absolutely beautiful, with lots of big windows, a very gorgeous clean bathroom and comfy beds! we went downstairs and had some coffee at maevas and it was absolutely delicious. Definitely the best coffee in alton. we absolutely loved this place and we definitely plan on returning.

Perfect place for a birthday weekend. Very comfortable with everything we needed. Close to the activities we planned. The town has a very interesting history. We had a great time. Thank you for sharing this great space with us.

This was our second stay at this Airbnb. We had a few Internet issues this time but Melvin was super responsive. It’s a very clean and nice little place with a great host. Definitely plan to stay again.

Aaron’s place was beautiful and SO well stocked! Little touches (like makeup towels, extra tooth brushes, and/or snack basket) were such a thoughtful addition! The beds were so comfortable and the over location easy to get to. Highly recommend!

The Nook on 9th was great. Beautifully decorated and outfitted like no other place we have been to. Our hosts had thought of everything. Our family had a great reunion - very comfortable for ages 2 to 91!

Absolutely perfect stay! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The space was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and stocked with everything we could possibly need. The host, Marie, went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, providing helpful recommendations. Marie made Christmas truly special for our family. The communication was seamless, and check-in/out was a breeze. The location was ideal – peaceful yet close to everything we wanted to explore. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend!

Super good house. Very clean, location good, bedrooms clean and beds very comfortable. Kitchen well equipped and there is washing machine and dry machine inside the house. The house is very big, and the dinning room and living room are very well decorated. Very traditional house. Super recommend. House owner is very fast response.

Cindy’s place was exactly as described. The home was absolutely beautiful and spacious. My family and I were very comfortable. Cindy was very helpful and responsive. If I’m ever back in the area I will definitely book again!

Overall had a good stay. There were a few minor inconveniences but nothing huge. There was only 1 roll of toilet paper for 2 bathrooms. The microwave has some sort of shortage where it only worked sometimes. There are dogs surrounding the house that would bark every time we went outside.

This was a very comfortable and clean place - exactly like the description. I noticed a few things other people did, like the lack of dresser space I'm the master, and lack of vanity space in the bathroom - but knew about those omissions before checking in. I do wish there was a TV in the bedroom. Christopher was also very responsive with any messages I sent. Would stay again
