I had an absolutely fantastic stay at Daniel's basement apartment in Asheville! From the moment I arrived, Daniel was a phenomenal host—warm, welcoming, and full of excellent recommendations for local spots to check out. His hospitality truly made my trip even more enjoyable. The apartment itself was spotless, extremely quiet, and thoughtfully designed for comfort. After a long day exploring Asheville, it was the perfect retreat to relax and unwind. The space was well-appointed, and every little detail showed Daniel’s care and attention. If you’re looking for a peaceful, clean, and cozy place to stay with a top-notch host, look no further. I’d absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Asheville. Highly recommend!

Jessie's place was amazing and much more than we expected. My family of 15 stayed here for a week long Christmas holiday. We couldn't have asked for a better home to better host. The house accommodated us all extremely well, including three dogs (two of which were large surprises)and Jessie was not only proactive, but incredibly understanding of the mishaps and questions that come about when that many people are housed in one space for that long. We even cooked a large Christmas dinner in the fully and well stocked kitchen. The house felt secluded and it was great for late night fires. It even has a large fenced yard space for dogs. Even though it felt like a private retreat, we were close (5-15 minute drive, depending) to all that Asheville has to offer....restaurants, shops, breweries, hiking trails, etc. And if we got bored with any of that, the board games are well stocked and we were able to stream/watch just about anything on the multiple TVs . This place is now in our top 3!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb with our family of 10, ranging from a baby to grandparents. The house was meticulously maintained and spotlessly clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing trip. The layout was perfect, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out while still having great common areas for gathering. Every room was beautifully designed, so no one felt like they got the “lesser” room. The views were absolutely incredible, and we loved the added amenities—board games, foosball, a jacuzzi, and a grill. The host was fantastic—super responsive, helpful with local recommendations, and proactive in keeping us informed about a nearby fire. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this home for any group looking for a relaxing and well-equipped retreat!

We have an amazing time with our daughter and son in law. The house is so cozy and the beds are incredibly comfortable! We would recommend to anyone and will be back! If you are going sight seeing, to the casinos or even just want to relax…this is the place.

This place is absolutely AMAZING!!! The pictures do not even do it justice. Firstly, this is hands down the cleanest Airbnb/accommodation that I have ever stayed at. Everything was in pristine condition. The location was great - it was only about a 15 minute drive to downtown Asheville, but felt so peaceful and quiet up on the hill and has the most incredible view of the mountains. Reading/drinking my coffee out on the swings was one of my favorite parts. The amenities cannot be beat too! You could have a vacation without ever leaving the house if you didn't want to - the game room is so cozy and fun, the hot tub/deck area is amazing for evenings outside, and the living room space is perfect too. Mindi is an incredible host. She made sure that we were enjoying our stay and if we needed anything at all, was there to quickly respond and assist! I can't thank her enough and I am already counting down til my next trip to Asheville and Astor Ridge!!

We enjoyed our stay the four days just flew by , and we were just getting started! Looking down on the town at night is awesome and the train whistle is comforting we did not get to ride this trip but if you are planning on coming up here you should put it on your bucket list.We went to Sylva for the Greening of the mountains festival and to Cherokee to take the grandson to the Cherokee Indian Museum and shops.Enjoyed the local restaurants The BrysonCity Brewery and Pub was so close ,Wize Gyz has the best onion rings and The Diner has an amazing breakfast..Paul’s Pancake House in Cherokee is so good too.We have many things we want to come back to do …another time. Suggestions for the house ..some rocking chairs on the porch would be awesome for whiling away the hours…also a good sturdy step stool or two for those of us in the 10% of the population that are too short and have bad knees ..to help us get in those amazing,comfortable beds..! This is such a beautiful property with such pretty views of the mountains! The house was spacious, extremely clean, very well stocked, and perfect for our family. Great outdoor space as well, our dogs absolutely loved it!

This was our second stay at Blackthorn Farm and our first time at the High House—it was perfect. Sharon and Seth are the kindest, most knowledgeable hosts, always happy to share about the farm. The food, as always, was unbelievably fresh and delicious. Visiting during lambing season made it even more special—we loved seeing all the baby lambs. And the highlight of the High House? Mr. Gray, the sweetest cat, who greeted us each morning and kept us company on the porch as we watched the sheep graze. Peaceful, beautiful, and full of charm—this farm is truly a gem. We can’t wait to return!

This place was like new! It was spotless and clutter free. Awesome coffee and tea available. Bed was super comfy. Couch was comfy too! Climate control was awesome. We enjoyed our stay. Would definitely return! Owner was so responsive too! Thankful to have found this place.

Nick is an outstanding host, communicates often and makes it easy to stay. The condo unit is very nice, both in decoration and in amenities. The location of Nick's place is great - walking distance to plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and other shopping - and easy access to Great Smoky Mountains National Park for plenty of hiking and sightseeing. I highly recommend!

The condo was beautiful! Exactly as described. They communicated very well and the view from the balcony was breathtaking! The pool, playground, and screened in “playground area” was really nice extras to have. Will definitely be staying here on our next trip to Gatlinburg.
