This was a great place to stay. Wonderful views. Antonio sent very good instructions. We had a difficulty with the door one evening, and Antonio came almost immediately, and also changed the gas bottle. We enjoyed our meals in the nearby bars and restaurants very much

A cozy place in a quiet street yet very close to all the sights/bars/restaurants. Size just right for our small family (1 adult + 2 kids). Easy to find a parking. We visited in February - the house is equiped with 2 heaters - for us it was enough to use just one and only for part of the day. The garden is so inviting. We never met Diego but he was quick to respond via messages. Scicli itself is very pleasant and picturesque and close to other places worth visiting (Modica, Ragusa) and the beach is also within a short drive. Our time here passed way too fast!

Eine typische Höhlenwohnung in dieser Gegend. Es war eine sehr interessante Erfahrung. Die Gastgeber sind sehr liebe, kommunikative und hilfsbereite Leute und haben uns viele Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben.

Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben. Der Kontakt mit Alberto war immer super freundlich und sehr hilfreich. Er hat gute Tipps gegeben und auf jede Frage schnell geantwortet. Falls wir noch mal nach Malta kommen ist Alberto mit seiner Unterkunft unsere erste Wahl.

Deze prachtige, oorspronkelijke Cycladische woning ligt in Ano Syros, een autovrije buurt net buiten Ermoupoli. Het is een schitterende buurt, met talloze straatjes, trappen, (witte) huizen/huisjes en bovenop de heuvel de katholieke kerk Agios Georgios. Er zijn (hippe) restaurantjes, cocktail bars, koffietentjes en winkeltjes. Alles bij elkaar geeft het een heerlijke sfeer (met veel katten!). Het is ongeveer 20 minuten lopen naar beneden, naar de haven van Ermoupoli, een levendige stad met nog veel meer restaurants en winkels, daar komt ook de ferry aan. De woning van Yannis is vrij klein, maar heel mooi en karakteristiek, het is heerlijk er te verblijven. De keuken is los en vrij klein, maar dat was voor ons geen probleem. Yannis is een geweldige host, die altijd voor je klaarstaat en veel tips geeft over de omgeving en bijvoorbeeld restaurantjes. We hebben in Yannis' appartement een geweldige tijd gehad!

Unbelievable location at the bottom of the Tajo Gorge with easy access to the hiking trail to Ronda Pueblo. (You must be reasonably fit to make this climb but its honestly easier than it looks!) The home is rustic but cozy and comes equipped with everything you need for a memorable stay. Plus, good restaurant recommendations!

Our stay in this cave house was such an amazing and unforgettable experience. Not only was the Airbnb beautiful inside and out, but the host was incredibly generous, attentive, and reliable throughout our entire stay. She made the trip special and so much better than expected - I highly recommend!!!!

We thank Iballa! The house is magnificent! Great view from the terrace, beautiful living room in the cave. Well equipped kitchen and shower. Large bedroom. The drive to any part of the island took 1 hour. Mountain trails pass near the house. We had a wonderful holiday!

Un quartier unique et idyllique comme la grotte dans laquelle nous avons séjourné au calme. Un bus passe à 50 mètres toutes les 15 mn pour aller rejoindre rapidement le centre de Grenade et la foule.

We had a very pleasant stay in the beautiful cave. The atmosphere was very cozy and Lieve was a very gracious hostess. We spent the days exploring the Gor area, where there is many beautiful hikes and unique sightings. The afternoons and evenings was spent in front of the fireplace. Very relaxing stay, we will definitely be back.

Athina nous a chaleureusement accueilli dans les villas à l'emplacement unique avec sa vue sur la crique de Porto Limnionas. Vous serez très bien accueillis dans la taverne tenue par la famille d'Athina au pied de la villa qui permet de ne pas avoir besoin de prendre sa voiture malgré l'emplacement unique et assez isolé.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt. Die spezielle Lage und Art der Unterkunft war ein einmaliges Erlebnis! Adriana war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns viele nützliche Informationen gegeben.

Perfect place to find peace and silence. The cave is one of the coolest airbnb's we've ever stayed in 😁 Laureano and his wife do their absolute best so that you feel amazing at their accomodation. Highly recommend!

Wir haben Claire bereits letztes Jahr kennengelernt. Sehr sympathisch, sehr nett! Wir hatten das kleine "Cave-House". Wie ein kleines gemütliches Hobbit-Haus :-) Eben ein traditionell Stonehouse, so wie es auf der Mani eben ist. Lagkada ist allerdings etwas entfernt vom Meer, das sollte man grundsätzlich beachten. Lagkada gehört aber zu den kleinen "Perlen" in dieser Gegend!

Ich durfte zwei Wochen zu Gast sein . die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und wohnen auch in der Nähe. Man kann sehr schöne Wanderungen von der Unterkunft aus machen. man kommt von San Lorenzo aus gut nach Las Palmas und kann auch im Ort einkaufen. Das Highlight war die Höhle in der ich jeden Tag geschlafen habe.

Our stay was truly special! The house is uniquely carved inside the mountain, giving it a cozy and authentic feel. It was even better than in the photos, beautifully designed, clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed. The terrace was perfect for relaxing, and there is a nice BBQ and big table to enjoy the meals outdoor. The host was incredibly responsive, helpful, and always ready to assist. Highly recommended!

Wir haben eine Woche in der Höhle gewohnt und uns von Anfang an sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Die Höhle strahlt Gemütlichkeit aus, ist sehr sauber und einfach auch etwas besonderes. Der dazugehörende Garten davor ist traumhaft und lädt geradezu ein, ihn zu besiedeln. Bedingt durch die Lage ist es absolut ruhig. Keine störenden Geräusche. Wer einen ruhigen Urlaubsort für sich sucht, fernab vom Tourismus und Trubel ist bei Juan Carlos perfekt untergebracht. Juan Carlos ist ein sehr angenehmer und sympathischer Gastgeber, der den Gästen ihre Privatsphäre lässt. Ab und an kommen seine Hunde vorbei und schauen nach dem Rechten :-) Die Höhle ist mit den Anweisungen von Juan Carlos sehr gut zu finden. Allerdings sind vor allem die letzten 800 Meter etwas abenteurlich zu fahren. Zu empfehlen wäre hier auf jeden Fall ein kleines Auto und gemäßtigtes Tempo, dann kann nichts schief gehen und man gewöhnt sich auch schnell daran. Wir können die Höhle wärmsten empfehlen !!!!

Der Aufenthalt war super schön. Die Unterkunft und Lage war perfekt für Ruhe, aber auch gut gelegen, um mit dem Auto Dinge zu unternehmen. Wir haben uns sehr zuhause gefühlt.

If you're planning a stop in Gozo during your Malta adventure, you've made an excellent choice. Nestled just steps from all amenities and outstanding restaurants, Craig and Andrea's house is the perfect base for your stay. The island begs to be explored: rent a car and discover its picturesque landscapes and fascinating prehistoric remains at your own pace. As the sun sets, the house becomes a warm gathering place where family and friends can share stories and savor meals around the spacious dining table. Should you need anything during your stay, the friendly Rita is readily available to help, and Craig remains consistently responsive via email to address any questions or concerns. While we visited in winter to escape the mainland's cold temperatures, do pack a few sweaters for the evening chill (and keep some coins handy for the heating system). A notable advantage over other Maltese accommodations is the ample hot water supply, which easily meets the needs of all guests.

We only spent a very brief but fantastic time at ‘Castillo Lanzarote’, staying in Villa Bentley’ Check in/out was very simple with very clear instructions but do be aware this delightful villa is located on the side of a steep hill so has many steps and different levels to it which I think bring it wonderful character but not ideal for those with mobility issues. The villa itself is very beautifully and cleverly laid out over numerous levels, built literally into the side of the hill. The pool is a much welcomed dip on a hot day and with its stunning views down to the coast, is fantastic. The villa has all the amenities you need with the surprise welcome of a dishwasher as we cooked a few meals ‘at home’. We had a hire car which was very handy as the villa is situated around 15 mins drive from the main (and if I’m honest, rather grotty) Puerto del Carmen. I would personally suggest exploring nearby Playa Blanca/Costa Teguise and Puerto Calero.

This is a very special place. Staying in a traditional Granada cave house is an amazing experience and the terrace has incredible views. We found it comfortable and peaceful for a one week stay. Just like the photos. It is a bit of a climb to get there - you walk up and down a lot to get into town! - and the kitchen and bathroom are a bit basic (it is a cave in the hills, after all). But once you relax into it, it's a very special experience, away from the crowds and feeling like a part of the landscape.

This place exceeded our expectations in every way. Nina was wonderful showing us around, making sure we had all the information we needed. The place was beautiful and the area was quiet and private, but just minutes away from downtown. Having an elevator and washer/dryer was super helpful. Would definitely return, or check out one of Marc’s other properties. Great stay!!
