Neat place to stay for a couple nights

We had a nice stay, was better than described. A block away from Brookshires and other local restaurants. Would highly recommend if staying in Springhill.

Everything about this house and hosts was pure perfection! Every single thing we could think of was already there waiting for us... Disposable coffee cups to take down to the dock, a sharpie for writing names on solo cups, ice maker to never run out, even bubble bath for the gorgeous tubs. The attention to detail was impressive and made our stay even more enjoyable. It felt as though we stepped in to a friend’s house who knew our needs before we did. We ended up having a rainy day, but didn’t miss out on any fun. The covered porch had plenty of space for fun and kept us dry. The 7 kids in our group range in age from 8-14… they had plenty to do and even chose to leave the phones inside and explore the property. Their favorite rooms were the bunk rooms and their favorite activity was playing ping pong. The big girls particularly enjoyed sun bathing on the dock! The memories made here for our families are absolutely priceless. It was an ideal getaway from work and stress!

Cory and Christie's place, THE RAFTERS, is a great find. It offers terrific, clean accommodations, is centrally located in Magnolia, and has lots of room to be comfortable. We stayed there on our trip to see our daughter play in a college golf tournament hosted by Southern Arkansas University. We will book with Cory and Christie if we are ever back in Magnolia again.

I really enjoyed my stay. If you’re looking for a quiet stay with an amazing view, this is it. Kathy is very responsive and hospitable.

The house was very restful and accommodating for some relatives traveling to the area for a family event - a great place to catch up and tell stories.

A great place to get away, unplug and enjoy privacy. I didn't go fishing but you can't get any closer to a great lake and boat launch. The house is clean, spacious and very pleasant. The pond serves as a nice backdrop to have a cocktail or two. Possibly a place to swim for a good swimmer. it has all the conveniences. If decor is something that matters I would describe it as generic airbnb, very inoffensive, and actually pleasant. The host is extremely responsive. Getting in is very easy. Information on the property arrived in a timely way. Wifi is very strong. I had no problem with phone or data with either of my cellular providers, Verizon or TMobile. The only caution is that the nearest restaurant is more than 10 miles away, unless I missed something. I would suggest taking some food with you or preparing yourself beforehand for a ride to get food. Overall this was a great experience for my friend and I and I would recommend it highly.

Nice stay. Jan even let us check out a little late before our trip back home ! 10/10 very peaceful area!

My husband and I, along with our dogs, stayed a couple days and really enjoyed the place. It was a very peaceful and quiet setting, although it may have been more lively had it not been rainy and during Christmas. We saw so many different types of birds/water fowl, and lots of fishing. While we enjoyed the tranquility, we’d love to come back when the weather is warm and enjoy some boating, swimming and fishing. Great place at a great bargain! And as a bonus, Lake Claiborne State Park is nearby and is absolutely the most beautiful and well equipped state park I have ever visited. Loved it!
