Heel leuke uitvalsbasis voor een vakantie in Slovenië! Perfecte ligging tussen Bled, Bohinj, Triglav, kransjka gora, ljubljana, Kamnik,.. Het huisje is heel ruim in een rustig en schattig dorpje met mooi uitzicht. Zeker een aanrader!

Appartamento ristrutturato con tutti i confort, la cucina non ha tutti gli accessori che servirebbero per sfruttarla come a casa propria, ma nel complesso è un bell' appartamento.. peccato per il complesso in cui si trova, abbastanza datato e meritevole di alcuni accorgimenti come rifare le scale di legno che portano all'appartamento ( condizioni pessime molto traballanti) , luce nel corridoio che porta all'appartamento assente, di sera è buio e non proprio praticabile. Tea però è un host attivo e disponibile per tutte le esigenze. Lo consiglio per qualità prezzo.

Very beautiful place and a perfect home base to visit national parks and such around the area. Host is very nice and helpful. Highly recommend and would stay again if I were to come back!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt! Man könnte den ganzen Tag vor dem Fenster oder auf dem Balkon sitzen und in die Natur schauen. Der Blick in die Landschaft ist einfach nur wundervoll. Wir hatten fast jeden Tag Besuch von Rehen. Von der Unterkunft auf lassen sich einfach Ausflüge, z.B. nach Bled, Bohinj See oder Ljubljana, machen. Der Kontakt mir Nika und Jan war super angenehm und einfach. Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wieder kommen :)

We had the most wonderful stay there! The kitchen was fully equipped, the bedrooms are cosy and the bathroom was, as well as the Sauna, super clean. There was a lovely small welcome gift, when we arrived the heater was already working and we immediately felt at home. Barbara and Tom answered all of our questions asap and always have been lobely and friendly and gave us many tips. The area was soo quiet and we have been able to relax the very moment we arrived. Thank you so much for the possibility to stay with you.

We loved our stay at the Villa Irena in Vipavski Kriz, what an experience! Marija and Irena were ever so hospitable. They've helped us a lot with the check-in and check-out so we can make the most of our short stay in the region. We've arrived late after a long journey so it really helped to have the basics- tea, coffee, local information etc Vipavski Kriz is a unique place, incredibly beautiful, peaceful and quiet. The Villa Irena is ideal for exploring this part of Slovenia- the coastline, the valley and the local culture. The hosts are part of the local community of Ajdovscina and it was an immense pleasure to be their guests. The villa is just as beautiful as in the pictures or even more given the setting of Vipavski Kriz with its heritage and the surrounding nature.

Lovely, peaceful setting with a view of the mountains and a convenient walking path to the village. You have ultimate privacy as the home is located at the very end of a gravel road through agricultural fields and small garden plots. House was very clean and everything worked just fine. Very convenient to the large market (groceries, general household needs...and gelato!). Two things to be aware of: There are three houses in the general area with the same address so be sure to put the entire address into your GPS. Also all sleeping areas are upstairs up a stepladder type of stairs. It's fine, but not the house for those with mobility issues. Nela is warm and welcoming and very helpful with tips to make your stay in Slovenia memorable!
