We had a wonderfull stay and will definetly return. Suiderstrand is not in the hussle and bussle of things, which we preferred. The sea view was breathtaking and the house is very well layd out with all the amenities you need. It is close to the popular fishing spots which was a plus for the boys. It is a very safe, friendly and quite neigbourhood. I highly recommend My Berg and See for a family vacation.

Malgas is a hidden gem for outdoor lovers, boating, fishing, or anyone seeking peace away from the city. The gravel road to get there requires a car with good height clearance. The house is pristine & welcoming, with thoughtful touches like frames with Wi-Fi info and emergency numbers. One of our friends had to work, and there were no connectivity issues. The Lapa area by the private jetty is the perfect setting for relaxing, reading and having sundowners. Evenings were spent around the fire pit, and the two UV lamps kept mosquitos at bay showing attention to detail by the host. The fence and gate are ideal for keeping kids or pets safe from the water. We met a friendly neighbor who shared fishing tips and local history. Angelique was an amazing host and was on point with her communication. We will definitely return!

Great stay! Out hosts were friendly and responsive and the house had everything we needed to settle in and start enjoying from the minute we arrived. The location is very special - the feeling of having a beach, a shoreline and views as stunning as this virtually to oneself is a very happy one. You leave with a strong sense of contentment and a wish to return.

Egbert is a great host and we felt right at home. The place is spotless and really well designed. We enjoyed the outdoor areas with the pool and the large eating area. We ended up regretting only staying one night :-)

Such a beautiful unique cottage in the heart of Swellendam - we only stayed here one night but wish it was much longer! Braam was a truly exceptional host who was very warm and welcoming and went above and beyond - he is also very talented at making amazing perfumes and fragrances! He gave us a fabulous recommendation for dinner which did not disappoint - there are lots of really nice restaurants in Swellendam to enjoy that are nearby. The cottage itself is very warm and cosy with lots of lovely little touches - would highly recommend for anyone visiting Swellendam!

Husband and I and two young dogs had a fantastic, relaxing, weekend at Mazwil in early March. We stayed in the downstairs double bedroom which has a nice large bathroom with efficient shower next door. The house has everything one needs for a weekend away. The walk down to the lapa at the dam is easier than it looks in the photos, as you don't have to walk back down the road. The dogs loved the dam, we loved the pool back at the house. Loved the birdlife, the peace and the sunsets.

Had a lovely stay here with my family. The location is extremely scenic but also an easy walk to the main town of Swellendam for restaurants and supermarkets. The outside area of this home is fantastic- the stoep and pool area are amazing for warm days as well as one day it was raining here we sat out in perfect comfort watching the storm. Inside was incredible clean and spacious- the kitchen extremely well equipped for both braais and oven/stove cooking. Lynette was a fantastic host- proactive before our stay and responsive throughout!

Great location, hospitality and communication. Good choice for a night stay if you drop by at Witsand! Not related to anything but the house itself of course, but a recommendation for future quests is to bring some mosquito repellent to be able to air the house during night so you can have a good temperature to be able to sleep.

We had a really wonderful stay at the cottage. The view from the balcony is so amazing 😍 And the cottage itself is full of art and character. Really feels like a proper home which my husband and I prefer over the more soulless Airbnb's we stayed at in the past.

Super quaint, super cute, super cozy! We had the best stay! The house is lovely with many nifty details and thoughtful touches. One of my friends commented on a theme of circles throughout the design of the house. Though there only for the weekend, we tried to use every inch/cm of the place… and the garden was truly an oasis. The house is situated very close to town and a great park/running trail Lonette was always super responsive and accommodating with letting us check out later. We will be back for sure. Thanks!

Jenny's Cottage is located right outside the entrance of the Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve, making it the perfect getaway if you want to immersive yourself in nature. The space was clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything you'll need for your stay. Aileen was a great host - she was friendly and responsive and gave us many great recommendations of things to do and see in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Cosy little cottage far from all your worries :) Henri’s Berry Guest Farm is a wonderful place to stay for families and the tiny house was just too cute. There are so many activities on the farm, we didn’t even get to do all of them! There is an enchanted forest with a little zip line and lots to explore, a small lake with boats and a Café/restaurant, a pool area and very cool jungle gym. Henri took us on a tour around the farm and we loved the little forest and river close by. The tiny house has everything you might need and was spotless. We especially loved the little veranda to enjoy our coffee in the morning. Definite recommendation for families!

Had the best stay, my only regret is that I wish I could have stayed longer. Zelmaré was so friendly and went above and beyond for me ! Her pets are super friendly too ! i especially enjoyed the cuddles from the cat !

Lovely 2 bedroom apartment in Struisbay. 2 minutes walk to the main beach and several restaurant can be reached on foot.

Spacious cottage with 2 bedrooms and 2 big lounges. Lovely garden area. The house was equipped with everything necessary for a short stay. Warren was always very friendly and helpful, communicating easy. Bredarsdorp itself only has one or two cafés/ restaurants worth it but its a good starting point to explore nature reserves and Cape Agulhas.

The house felt like a home away from home. Our checkin hostess, Esmeralda, was accommodating and helpful. Great for a family holiday as the house is spacious with plenty of space to curl up with a book. 3 minute walk from the central beach and hotel for great cocktails. Secure, private and comfortable

This was a wonderful stay with everything we needed. The house is close to the beach and to a very cute coffee shop and bakery. We braaied twice while listening to music and relaxing on the Stoep with a nice glass of wine and an ice cold beer. It was everything we wanted and needed for this breakaway.

Thank you for this sweet sanctuary space. The Tile house crept right into my heart! Clean and neat with a well-equipped kitchen, beautiful view of the mountain and friendly community. It is worth mentioning that this home is on the main road, a blessing with friendly locals waving past, but it can be a little noisy - for a little village! All in all it was a fantastic visit and would recommend Shannon and her well-crafted space in a heartbeat.
