Our stay at this Watamu gem exceeded all expectations! Initially nervous traveling with our 4-month-old, we found the house perfectly equipped with everything baby needed. The staff's warmth made us feel instantly at home. Beds were surprisingly comfortable with memory foam pillows ensuring perfect sleep. The chef was exceptional, accommodating requests while suggesting creative dishes that let us truly relax. Host recommendations revealed Watamu's hidden treasures - there's so much to do! While not beachfront, the home's stunning design more than compensates. Every detail reflects thoughtful consideration - stylish, chic, and always immaculately clean. Cynthia, the nanny (details available from hosts), was wonderful - our baby adored her, giving us precious moments to ourselves..This dream home transformed our paternity leave into an unforgettable paradise experience. The location is ideal, the ambiance tranquil, and the memories priceless. We'll definitely return to this perfect hse.

The house was very new, it was spacious, clean and amazing. It worked very well for digital nomads like us. We had a great time there! Rose was a very great host, she was super responsive and proactive and really made us feel welcome. The staff is also very kind and will help you with whatever you need! Would definitely come again :)

We had a wonderfull stay in Ritchie's House. The house itself is wonderful, has a very beautiful garden and access to the beach. The service was excellent, and the chef was very professional and good as well. In short: we had an excellent stay at Ritchie's House. On top of that, all communication with Vivienne went extremely smooth. We felt warmly welcomed, even long before we even arrived. Vivienne is very responsive, and helped us with restaurant recommendations as well.

This place was not only beautifully furnished, clean and in a very secure and prime location! Everything you need is provided, well stacked kitchen, endless supply of towels, and if anything was missing Susan and Hamisa the wonderful housekeeper were there ready to support immediately! I can not praise them or this place enough! The location is perfect! It’s right on the beach front, surrounded by many fantastic restaurants, bars, and boats for trips! We saw dolphins on a trip and went on an elephant sighting! It was magical! At the end of the day, it is peaceful and quiet to have a good night sleep and start the adventures again! I highly recommend Susan’s beautiful flat and will definitely be visiting again! I’ve already shared it with several friends, who I am sure will visit soon! We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment is very spacious and has a beautiful view out the balconies with constant sea breezes and the sound of the surf. We appreciated Maggy’s service in cleaning and providing potable water each day. There are several beaches within walking distance including many restaurants, shops, and groceries. We especially enjoyed the gelato shop just down the street. Both Deborah and Maggy were very responsive via text. A couple of things we did not expect but could be useful information beforehand: there is no washer in the apartment, so laundry is done by Maggy for a fee of 1100 ksh per load. Also, there is hot water and great water pressure in the showers, but we noticed that hot water wasn’t consistent after 6pm. We had it after 6pm about half the nights. We asked Maggy about this and the water heater seemed to be working, so this seemed a bit of a mystery to us. However neither of these issues detracted from our wonderful stay.

My wife, I and our three children had a great holiday here. The house is located in a picturesque village surrounded by coconut palms. One of the most beautiful beaches in Kenya is about a 10-minute drive away. We had our own car, so it was not difficult for us to get there, but if you do not have transport, you can always use a tuk-tuk or a motorbike taxi. The beach is beautiful! Next to the house is an ocean bay with mangrove trees. We were very pleased that the house has two excellent SUP boards! At high tide you can ride them through the mangrove forest and it is very, very beautiful! But take shoes with you because there are sharp shells at the bottom. Nice people work in the house. Chef Joseph cooked well and was very kind. Thank him very much! We were lucky with the weather, it was not stuffy at all, so we never used the fans at night. Thanks to the owner of the house Tom and his team for good memories!
