It was a lovely restful place to stay at with fabulous views. Communication with the host was excellent.

Host was great to deal with and was very responsive and helpful when we were upfront and honest. Great stay awesome location had a big group of people which had a ball all weekend in the facilities.

House was nice and clean on arrival. Lisa was very helpful with checking in. A small issue with dirty dishes on arrival which was dealt with by Lisa. Walking distance to town. Great place to begin your holiday. Will be back.

Great location, fantastic water views, within walking distance of beach, lake , boardwalk and coffee shops. Excellent, hassle free accommodation for families to enjoy.

Thanks Ian for a great stay! We loved the location - only a few minutes away from everything but in a nice quiet area of town. Loved that we were able to bring our dog along too. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and it felt so homely. Thanks again for a wonderful stay - would definitely recommend!

We were coming in very late, Phil was there to help us in the dark, helping with car and boat. Helped get us settled. Very helpful and friendly. Even got fresh home made sausage rolls for breakfast. Great knowledge of the area. Great for all types of holidays. But if you have a boat bring it , wash area and fish cleaning. Or just come to enjoy the local hospitality. Any time of the year is good. Plenty of rooms and beds. Definitely would go back. Thanks Phil.

Clifftop is a great place to stay. Great views. The house is well appointed. Tathra is a lovely little village. Christine was easy to communicate with.

We had an amazing stay at Sue and Steve’s place in Merimbula! The house was super clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with our baby and dog. The location was perfect - right by the lake and just a short walk to the beach and town. Sue and Steve were responsive and made us feel so welcome. It was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy nature, and we’d definitely love to come back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a pet-friendly getaway!

We came to the area for my son's wedding. Tristan's cottage was in the perfect spot. We loved the cosiness of the place, the quiet, and the surrounding landscape. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. We would’ve liked to have some shampoo etc in the bathroom, but it wasn’t a problem. We really enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay in Etienne and Yvonne's beautiful home. We especially loved the spectacular views out over the estuary and the lovely garden.

We stayed at Pete's place in 2019 and had a wonderful time. Returning 5 years later it was even better than we remembered. The house is superb - generous accommodation with a spectacular front verandah looking over the sea and a delightful little back garden (the dogs' domain). As a keen cook, the kitchen has everything you need (apart from perhaps a really good chef's knife - I always take my own anyway), with plenty of large pots for pastas etc. The location is perfect, quiet but a short walk to the beach and also Aqua cafe (excellent food and coffee). Overseas visitors will delight in the kangaroos on the front lawn, even in the driveway, and echidnas on the nearby oval. Actually, we Ozzies loved them too! Very highly recommended.

What a spectacular stay! The view from your charming little house is breathtaking, and echos Edna’s sentiments beautifully. We had an incredible time, and the weather couldn’t have been better throughout our visit. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality and all the thoughtful touches you provided. The coffee machine was put to good use, and we loved the Christmas chocolates and New Year’s Prosecco—sipping it on the deck while watching the beach fireworks was truly memorable. The location was perfect, with easy walking access to the Pambula beach and Lions Park. Our pup had a blast exploring the beaches, too. We’ll definitely be booking again soon!

the amazing view is the draw card. every day it was a complete pleasure to walk out of the bedroom to gaze upon the spectacular views. this is a large 2 bedroom apartment with John's residence above. the beds have been recently upgraded and are comfortable. large fridge, washing machine, tv which we never switched on for entire week, just gazed at view instead. kitchen has all you need to cook every meal, the property is rustic but also incredible value. location is very peaceful. Mallacoota is a special place and our second visit. there will be a 3rd.

We wanted a retro Xmas and birthday celebration and this was the perfect setting. Lovely big table in the kitchen, another on the shady veranda and areas to spread out and play a boardgame by the lake. We could easily cook up a few feasts in the well supplied kitchen and enjoyed reminiscing surrounded by some traditional country furniture and old books. We enjoyed a bit of spotlighting under the amazing starry sky in the woodland and birdwatching with an early morning coffee under the beautiful old trees of the farmhouse. The flies that joined us inside might have reminded us of the rural setting, but we had a very comfortable stay with all our needs provided for, and we went home rested and happy. Thank you Paul.

Our stay was fantastic, Luke was very helpful, the cabin was cosy. We saw a bunch of kangaroos right outside our door one evening and the Wonboyn beach in general was stunning.

Probably the best location possible between the ocean and the lake. Home facilities including the pool, barbie and everything you need, coupled with an amazing location for an easy walk to the beach and wharf. Ok it’s not 5 star in terms of brand new furniture, bathrooms and kitchen, but it is comfortable enough for an easy-going family holiday where you can easy wind down at home or outdoors. Peter was easy to reach, but we didn’t need a thing for the whole stay. We had a great time and would recommend for families with children. Thanks again Peter!

This place was absolutely incredible. Even better than the photos depict. Amazing size house, beautiful interior and decor. The pool was a HUGE hit with the kids. You truely feel you are at a resort with the amazing views and backdrop. Our main gripe is that we wished we stayed longer. Thank you Christina and Dieter, we so hope to be back.

We loved the very spacious apartment which catered well for our needs. It was in a great location and so peaceful whilst being close to amenities and beaches. Our hosts were friendly and made check in easy. The pool was an added bonus to our accommodation. The kids loved the cubby house. Thanks Michael and Janet.

Colleen's place is great for families with dogs. Big TV, good internet, hot shower, and a brisk 8 minute walk to the beach, it was exactly what we wanted! And unlike some other listings, the house is *actually* dog friendly - if your dogs love sitting on the couch (like ours do), Colleen was perfectly happy to let us cover the couch with a couple spare sheets (which we brought ourselves). The only thing missing was a pantry - but we probably cook more than most visitors. Will definitely be back!

We found the location lovely. We were grateful for a place we could stay with our dog with easy ocean views. The immediate area has much natural beauty to see and explore. Our cabin was next to a reasonably trafficked road but thats to be expected when you are so close to a beautiful beach. It was pretty quiet at night however. We had a fault with an appliance in our room and the hosts were very helpful and quick to help which we really appreciated. Communication was excellent. Information pertaining to all aspects of the stay were very clear. We felt like we had privacy although there were plenty of cabins around. In all the place had a friendly and relaxed vibe. At the beach there seemed to be a lot of locals coming regularly which was nice. Cabins simple but had all the things you could want. Amenities in area great. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back with or without the dog again.

Beautiful family home located in a quiet, hilly part of town, with fantastic views from some bedrooms. Pool was very clean and welcoming for the kids. Perfect for our getaway. Also appreciated the well equipped kitchen for all our self catering needs.
