I had a beautiful time at the Stables! It’s a getaway from the world at a working farm. I love animals, so I asked to meet some of them, and Yvonne took me to see (and pet!) the milking cows, and explained the entire process to me! The house had traditional charm but was has been updated everywhere that it counts. They have lists of local recommendations but I was happy to get groceries and use the excellent kitchen at the property. I did not have a car and was warned about difficulty getting around but as I was only interested in nature and peace and quiet, getting to and from on public transport was easy enough. Finally, Yvonne was always prompt responding to me and was very friendly and welcoming! I’d love to come back!

Such a wonderful couple of days attending our daughters wedding. Made even more relaxed by staying at Lizzie place. Fantastic directions and info sent in advance. The Old Barn was such a delightful place to stay. Beautiful and peaceful setting, spotlessly clean, very comfortable, even the little dog came in to say hello as we were leaving🥰 I would definitely recommend this home to anyone.

This was the perfect location for a few days of peace and quiet - utterly beautiful location, super views, and the hot tub just made it perfection. Even when the weather was a bit ropey there was the hot tub and that view to enjoy. Great hosts, lovely dog walks round about and so many interesting things to do in the area. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and hope to return.

Great place has everything you need and was great for families with nice big garden and swings for children to run around in. Jan was a great host and so lovely and warm! Lots of lovely things to do around the area too!

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in Cotswold. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und gut eingerichtet. Besonders das großzügige Kinderzimmer hat den jungen Gästen gefallen. Neben der Lage mitten in der Natur war der Games Room ein weiteres Highlight, was von den Kindern gern genutzt wurde. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und gut zu erreichen. Wir haben auf Empfehlung die kleinen Pubs der Umgebung besucht und waren sehr zufrieden. Eine Bushaltestelle für Fahrten nach Oxford ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit in Oxfordshire.

Fantastic stay at the Hayloft cottage. The beautiful private surroundings just outside of Stratford upon Avon town was perfect and kept immaculate. Wendy made us feel right at home and the place was snug and cosy for the 4 of us. Complimentary treats for valentines went down a treat and we loved the pool and hot tub experience which was all pristine and well organised. Thank you so much Wendy, already planning our next trip! What a beautiful home and location! Perfect for a weekend getaway with the family. Host and owners on site was excellent, giving local recommendations and freedom to explore the amazing surroundings. House was very spacious, clean and had everything we needed.

It was a quick couple of days stay in a very cute accommodation and the scenery was outstanding. Karen greeted us on arrival and offered us milk for a nice cup of tea. Would highly recommend for a quick getaway in the countryside and close enough to town.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here whilst we visited Stratford and Warwick. Emma was so lovely, really helpful, and made us feel right at home with how cosy the barn was. She left us little treats and even stuff for breakfast. Literally anything you need is there! Highly recommended, and we'll definitely be back to stay again 🤗

We had a lovely stay for a few nights. It wasn't great weather, so the little games room on site was very useful to entertain the kids. Great, quiet, countryside location but not too far from pubs etc. The barn had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.

We loved our stay at Hannah's place. Lovely home, perfect for our family. The house is well set up with everything you'd need and really clean and tidy. Lots of things for our 2 year old daughter to do and play with and really safe for her too, stair gates, enclosed private yard etc. Hannah was very helpful with directions and providing things we asked for like a high chair and cot. The location is really peaceful and quiet and was perfectly situated to get to loads of great walks and other activities in the Beacons and surrounding areas. We would recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to the region.

Great place to stay, with much to see and do in and around. We came to give our grandson a Castle experience, and covered five in two days plus a river trip...We were blessed with fabulous weather and He had a blast! Everything in the accommodation was well thought out and comfortable, with rapid response to any questions. Very happy to recommend. Thank you Charlie.

A very comfortable and cosy stay! Kitchen utensils were well stocked and fresh linen was well provided. Good location to do days trips to the popular villages. Very clean and would definitely recommend.

We stayed for 2 nights and absolutely loved it. the Stables is gorgeous, spotlessly clean and tidy. It was a lovely calming space to be in. The hot tub was amazing and made our 13 year old very happy. Super spacious bedrooms, fully usable kitchen, comfy sofa - perfect! This was close to many, many places and ideal for families. Easy to book, clear instructions on how to get to and get in the property. We would most definitely stay again and highly recommend.

We loved our stay at the barn.The place was immaculate and very welcoming. The place itself had everything you need, it is very well though trough.Very nicely done up, there’s definitely an eye for the attention to details.We are a family of 4, 2 little ones under 8, we has some lovely bike rides and lovely teas at the Amberley inn and the Black Horse.We did the Stroud rail trail by bike, going towards Stonehouse,it wasn’t that great we ended up cycling along a dual carriageway, not great with little ones.But toward Nailsworth there’s a little cycling trail,which was really good fun, it’s not big but enough for a couple of jumps, and a few bumps.The property is facing a lovely field with Jasper and Petal the 2 local horses,and they’ll be happy to welcome you in the neighbourhood. The kids were very cosy upstairs and downstairs was great with a toasty fireplace. My hubby is quite tall so the bed unfortunate l’y was on the small side for us, nevertheless the mattress is very comfy

It was our second stay at the old stable. We feel like home and can’t wait to come back. Gillian is a great host and the house a great location to explore the Cotswolds.

We had a brilliant few days away! If you are looking for tranquillity, peace and quiet in an idyllic setting, you will not be disappointed. The Barn overlooked the pond, so we spent some time bird watching as we sat out on the decking during breakfast and in the evening. We stayed in The Barn, there is also The Leat next door, which we would consider, if you wanted to take additional family members. The property had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. This was the perfect location for sightseeing the surrounding area. Natalie, the host, ensured that our stay at The Barn went smoothly before and on arrival with information regarding check-in and check-out. This was a holiday break for my elderly mother-in-law, myself & my wife. We needed everything on one level with separate bedrooms/bathrooms/showers, this property met those needs. Thank you Natalie for an amazing time at this stunning property and for looking after us.

Sandy’s place for a 10 minute walk from our friends who live in Milton-under-Wychwood. Perfect location for us. The dogs loved the green opposite and great to have the Coop in walking distance too. The barn was warm and cosy with all the facilities we needed. Beds were really comfortable. We visited Fire and Wine for pizza which we would definitely recommend, also FarmEd which was really interesting. We also visited Stow-on-the-Wold and the Hawkstone brewery. Next time we would like to explore Bourton-on-the-Water and Burford. Would definitely like to stay there again when we next visit our friends.

We had the most wonderful time at The Old House Barn. The quaint barn is styled to perfection, creating a cosy and serene atmosphere that was ideal for relaxing in the breathtaking beautiful countryside. The modern amenities made our stay incredibly comfortable allowing us to cook meals after a day of visiting nearby villages. We especially enjoyed the fireplace and the delicious treat that greeted us on arrival. We couldn’t have dreamed up a more perfect stay. Very easy to find. Long bumpy farm track but vehicles didn't have any issues. The barn was lovely, private and peaceful with enclosed gardens and hot tub. Very spacious inside with all amenities you would need. The bath was the biggest bath I've ever seen ! Shower and toilet down stairs in a huge utility. Met Lynsey who was superfriendly and very helpful. Booked in at another one of their properties on same site in a few weeks. Lots of places to walk in beautiful surroundings .

the village of Bourton is very picturesque and the surroundings are inviting. we were busy out and about with our dogs during the day. we walked the dogs around the village in the morning and evening meeting other dogs and owners. The Dutch Barn is tucked away and just right for our stay away. many thanks Helen regards Jon

What a gem of a find. Like others have said, a lot bigger than we expected. Beautiful and warm with a wood burner to make it cosy in the evenings but to be quite honest even though it was cold outside ( we even had snow showers) the accommodation is warm enough if you didn’t want to light the woodburner. Bed very comfy with the smell of lovely fresh bed linen. Stella was at hand with a small query that we had . I would highly recommend this place to stay , tucked away with walks for the dogs just outside the door . My first words when we unlocked the door and walked in were; “ oh this is lovely, we always choose nice places “. Thankyou Stella

Tranquil spot in a beautiful part of Wales. Well situated for lots of local landmarks and activities. Our children enjoyed meeting their three friendly dogs! Thank you for a lovely stay
