Incredibly nice. Beautiful place and had great amenities. Kept extremely tidy and clean. 10/10!!!

We had a long 6hr drive and clay place was easy to find on the map. Julia had already sent code which was awesome because we were able to enter the house without any problems and clay was only a msg away if we needed anything. We were able to relax as soon as we arrived and it felt like we were right at home. The house is such a cozy peaceful house if you wanting to unwind and the beach was just a small walk away and we were lucky enough to see the sunset.

This is one of the best hosts I’ve ever met. We encountered a tricky situation, and the host set off from Auckland at 1 AM to help us. This was my parents’ first trip to New Zealand, and the experience left them with a great impression and deep gratitude. I highly recommend this place—you’ll get an amazing house with convenient access to many attractions.

Schöne gemütliche Unterkunft. Alles vorhanden was man braucht. Mit dem Auto ist man schnell im Zentrum und an Supermärkten.

This is the quintessential Kiwi bach with a bonus trampoline for the kids and a volleyball net for everyone! We enjoyed the generous outside living space, and there is a covered outside deck for our family dog to stay. The home had everything we needed, was very clean and tidy, and the beds were comfortable. Great location, only a 2-minute drive to the beach, and to the forest for walking and biking tracks. Supermarket is about an 8-minute drive into Foxton.

Hamish's place was lovely and met all our expectations. Everything you could possibly need was there and the kitchen and bathrooms were modern and sparklingly clean. The location was great, close to the beach and forest and our dog, Rowlfie, thought he was in heaven with the spacious surroundings. It was good having a fenced garden for him too. The area was very peaceful and I enjoyed walking to the Four Square each day for the paper and bread etc. The Four Square was good too for homecooked meals such as mac and cheese, lasagne, pies, scones, and there were baked sweet treats as well. The local Beach Bar and restaurant was special too. We went one evening (could take the dog in the outside area) and had a lovely meal from suggestions made by the host. We had a wonderful time at Hamish's place and can't recommend it too highly.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb on the ranch! The peaceful surroundings and beautiful natural scenery made it a perfect getaway. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The host was welcoming and attentive, ensuring our stay was enjoyable. I especially loved waking up to the sounds of nature and having the chance to explore the ranch. The rooms were huge and great for a big family or groups. Highly recommend this unique experience for anyone looking for a tranquil retreat!

Lovely , relaxing place..Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Having the use of 2 garden areas was a bonus Kitchen well equipped with generous breakfast provisions. Hope to be back . ..

We had such a lovely time at the property, thank you. Plenty of space, both indoors and outdoors - nicely decorated and homely. Fantastic heated swimming pool! The kitchen was really well equipped - the coffee machine was excellent. Also really appreciated the aircon on a hot day. Would love to come and stay again sometime, thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay at Evan and Karen’s. They met us on arrival and showed us around. The 1880 railway cottage was unique and comfortable. Close by their swimming pool was great and quite private. Continental breakfast was provided with a good selection of teas. The local pub and general store were a couple of doors down and the people friendly. Both did takeaways and you could get a bottle of wine from the pub to take back (general store didn’t sell beer or wine). Overall Otane was a great stopover on our way to Napier, a hidden gem!

This place was amazing! It's honestly like a little slice of paradise. The location is was very secluded and away from light pollution, which was perfect for astrophotography and also taking pictures of the local birds (the fantails get so close!). The complimentary breakfast and snacks were much appreciated, we didn't need to bring much ourselves since we mostly went out in the afternoon for lunch/dinner. TV (with chromecast) was a big plus for us to wind down while we settled up for the evening. The pool was readily available for us but it was a shame we didn't have time to try it out. And the BBQ stand was perfect for us to make dinner while we enjoy the outdoors with a campfire :) The stay was super comfy and cozy, I highly recommend this place if you are in the area!

I’ve never been sadder to leave an Airbnb! An absolute gem of a space in a bucolic setting with hosts who were clearly born hospitable. We were warmly welcomed, and given a property tour along with a map orientation of Napier. Every suggestion was spot on. Wineries galore very nearby. The space is wonderful—uniquely designed to let the outdoors in; the apartment is stylish, comfy and very well-appointed. I can’t say enough about this as a place to stay, and the very best hosts!

Nick and Judy’s Pavilion is a gem and a beautiful example of modern architecture that is sensitive to local surroundings and other local buildings. It is bright and spacious and full of clever design features that makes great use of space and enhance cross-breezes inside when it is warm. It features high ceilings, a huge shower room space in the bathroom, wrap-around window seats in the bedroom, and a clever kitchenette space behind a pull down screen that hides it away when you don’t want to look at it. Large windows capture views of lovely expanses of lawn and gardens and offer peeks of the orchards beyond. A short trail at the back of the property takes you down to a park with a stream and a great walking trail that leads at either end to bridges offering access to Havelock North and Hastings. Nick and Judy are great hosts - offering recommendations as well as information about the property and providing fresh bread, milk, eggs and homemade jams and granola upon arrival.

Amazing accommodation!!! Highly recommend. The property was clean and tidy and the amenities were top notch!! We had a great weekend and would book here again.

This ia a unique place with the conversion of a shearer's quarters. The external access to each room was authentic to its past. The location was private in being on a farm up in the hills but still close enough to the coast or towns if desired. Communication was great and Hannah was flexible to our change of numbers and arrival date. Margot greeted us warmly and then left us to ourselves - perfect.

Loved the house and location... views spectacular. great place for a large group... there were twelve of us and did not feel crowded. close to town and the markets. Better than we expected. Will recommend it to friends and family traveling to Whanganui.

Beautiful spot and suited us perfectly. Great outdoor space and lovely layout inside. Had everything we needed. Would love to have had the chance to stay longer.

Great place to stay and break up the drive to Wellington with our two dogs and babies.

We had a beautiful stay at Jan's place. Felt right at home and I was so happy I could bring my dog with me and she loved the place too. Very cosy, private and peaceful. Lovely touch of having some food and drinks provided for us. Thank you for opening your home to us Jan and we really enjoyed our stay :)

The cottage is in beautiful countryside but within easy reach of Havelock North. It is very well equipped and furnished and has a very comfortable bed. We thoroughly recommend it and would like to stay there again on our next trip to see family in NZ

The house was absolutely spotless. Kitchen flowed through to dining area and lounge and outdoors. Cute house wth lovely outdoor area. Two bathrooms a bonus. Katharine provided quick response to our query. Nice quiet spot.
