We absolutely loved this home!! It was as if we stayed in a luxury tree house! Every room had a beautiful up close view of the lush forrest and time on the deck in the sun was like spending time in the trees. The location of the rooms allowed for privacy and the living room, kitchen, and deck provided great gathering spaces. The hot tub was a great bonus. The home is located in close proximity to restaurants and great activities including Taranaki Mauna, Fitzroy Beach, and beautiful sunsets at Paritutu Rock. Pip was a great host!

This is a home set up for families with children. Lots of inside and outside toys for kids to play with and locks on kitchen cupboards and draws. Great location, close to supermarkets and had all the amenities needed for our stay. Hosts were quick to respond and very easy to deal with.

Great stay for a family. Lots of space and was nice to have a home to come back to after long days. The outdoor area was a big hit for us and since there is a good flow from inside we had most dinners out there. The home is immaculate! It is clean and tidy and has everything you need. The kitchen is labelled and it was very helpful. The entire home is well catered to guess staying with extra towels and blankets available. Cannot express how clean the home is and how nice it was to relax here for the week. There is no access to laundry and logistically I can see why but for a long stay it was inconvenient to pop down to the laundromat. Wouldn’t have been as big of an issue for a shorter stay. Will definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

Great house! Very secluded and nicely decorated. Beautiful Rocky black sand beach just 6-7 minute walk from the house however no stairs but a semi steep dirt walkway which could be challenging for older folks. You can’t see the mountain from this property - the photo online must have been taken from the neighbors field. It can get very warm in the afternoon inside. Host was very responsive to any questions.

WOW!! What an incredible home that we were lucky to stay at! Big, spacious, homely, open plan living, great entertaining area, private, quiet culdesac, and just a beautiful environment. We had two families staying (4 kids) and the space was safe for them and there was lots of toys and activities available for the kids to play with, it was great! Janette was a fabulous host, great communication and had the home set up so well for us and allowed us access to all the listed amenities etc. loved the recommendation of the cafe nearby, LOCAL, it was a great spot. We would all 100% go back and stay again. Highly recommend.

Great place to stay, with large, comfortable beds. Pet-friendly, with fully fenced section. Garden is beautiful and house is situated right next to Te Henui walkway to the sea. Local Orangery restaurant at the nearby Plymouth has delicious food. Kitchen, bathrooms, and linen are very clean - but the house is tired. We still loved it :)

This is such a gem, what a beautiful place! We had a great time staying there - obviously the hot tub was the main "attraction". It took some skill and patience to heat it up ngl, but it was SO worth the effort (we started at 5 pm and were in there soaking until 10 pm). The views from this place to Mt Taranaki are awe.some. The mountain was very generous with us and awarded us with lots of almost cloud-free views. The cabin is suuper private. Kitchen has everything you need, the coffee making options are grand. It's kinda pricey but you will spend the time of your life there!

Super beautiful place to stay even though you are on a busy street once inside you definitely don’t feel like you are with the privacy blinds. The pizza oven is amazing and very easy to use, we didn’t use the bath but definitely looked very inviting. The house is well kept and the bed is pretty easy to put up and down.

What an absolute gem of a place! This space is a perfect little Beach Retreat! Gorgeous ocean views, an amazing cafe with incredible food (but only open on the weekends!). Amanda’s space is full of artists inspiration & all kinds of magic to connect with your heart & soul! We loved our time there!
