A gem not to miss As a seasoned traveller both in Zimbabwe and abroad, I have a few non negotiables - comfortable bed and clean linen, reliable shower, fans or aircon and a place to comfortably work in a peaceful environment and Tich and Tarie's place provided all this and then some! What i didn't know is I also needed was the great entertainment system they had for guests in the soundproof space where I could play music and watch a wide choice of TV to my hearts content. They had a compact, well stocked and functional kitchen with state of the art appliances. I appreciated the blackout curtains as I could really sleep well as I am a light sleeper. A lot of reviews complained about the road leading to the property but that provided me with daily morning hikes up and down the beautiful scenic landscape of Mutare where I could watch sunrises. The cherry on the cake for me for this property was the hosting. I was well catered to with the hosts going above and beyond. Warm and friendly.

Val’s place is stunning, with a private entrance and a beautifully manicured garden. She is a warm and welcoming host, which made my stay quite enjoyable.

Very neat, spotlessly clean, beautiful and comfortable stay. We felt right at home with all comforts and WiFi. Nico helped us check in easily and was and always ready to help. Backup power and gas geyser were very helpful during these times.

Great place. Was very helpful. If you are scared of dogs its not ideal as they bark at you at times. also dont break anything had to pay $30us for an apparent missing towel and a broken wine glass.
