This is our second time utilizing David’s properties and did not disappoint. Home was beautiful, spacious but cozy. Design was perfect, great layout for our large group & plenty of room to stretch out. Very close to Crystal Mountain for our annual ski trip! Very much enjoyed our time & David was a very helpful, accommodating and gracious host.

We stayed for 3 nights with 8 adults and 2 kids and had a great time! Between the yard, kayaks, bonfire pit, the lake and the Lake Michigan beach which is a 5 minute walk away, you never have to leave the house if you don't want to. The house was clean and comfortable - would stay again!

I would highly recommend this location! We had the most beautiful and relaxing stay here. The house was clean and had everything we needed. It was so nice getting to kayak too on the property. The hosts were responsive and so helpful! The best and most peaceful getaway here.

Our stay at Brandi's cabin was amazing. It was quiet and peaceful yet very close to Crystal Mountain. It was about a two minute drive to the slopes. Our dogs had space to move and run and play, as well as our kids! The backyard was fun with snow which led to sledding. The kitchen had tons of utensils, cooking tools, dishes, cookware, storage containers. We had everything we needed. Kids had their own space upstairs to play. Plenty of fun games for all to get into. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our time in the home in Onekama. The space was perfect for our group. The pool was absolutely beautiful. It was a perfect location to get to Lake Michigan and golf.

Carolyn was so beyond accommodating and helpful! Her space was so beautifully eclectic and a joy to exist in! Beyond thankful for such a wonderful host!

We had a great time over New Year's at Tom's "Little House". Tom was a great host and his place was spotless, well organized and very comfortable. We will definitely visit again, hopefully in the summer. Thanks for everything Tom.

Wonderful cozy cottage in a very peaceful neighborhood. Went during the height of winter and heating worked very well, wifi was good with a few spotty moments far between, everything else worked as expected. The place was exactly as described and matched the photos - the living room and dining area are spacious and it includes a large full basement. The kitchen was stocked with all the basic utensils and spices you’d need to cook a meal. The neighborhood is very peaceful and pretty with the lake right there. Wellston itself is an extremely tiny town with around 2 stores and one restaurant, so if you’re looking for more variety you’ll be going to Manistee which is around 25 minutes away depending on weather. If you’re looking to ski at Caberfae or just have a secluded peaceful getaway in a cozy environment, this place is perfect. Sarah was always quick to respond and help with our queries. We’ll be coming again!

The house is beautiful and lets in so much natural light which we enjoyed very much. Throughout the house there are instructions and labels which was extremely helpful and made things very accessible! The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessities and was very spacious for cooking in. The feature we enjoyed most was the sauna which came with clear, user friendly instructions and heated quickly. This was the perfect place to get away for a weekend and we will most definitely return to see the lake during summer!

The house was very comfortable and spacious, with an amazing view of the lake. The area around the property is beautiful with lots of wildlife! Nicole was a great host and answered my questions quickly. I would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed staying at the cabin for our ice fishing weekend on Portage Lake. The usable wood fireplace was a very nice bonus during a very snowy stay.

This cabin is a hidden gem with easy lake access. . The hosts love what they do and meet your needs with everything. friendly and reliable.

This place was awesome. Very peaceful location in a perfectly sized cabin that we continuously appreciated the more time we spent there. The nearby nature surroundings are great and you’re only minutes from the downtown riverfront and other activities. The private section connected to Lake Michigan for sunsets was an added feature. Will definitely stay again.
