The lake house was exactly as described and looked just like the photos. Plenty of space for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked. Lots of blankets and pillows. The lake was beautiful and the kayaks were really nice to have. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed here for three days and never felt the need to leave. Laurie has everything you could need for a vacation. The place inside and out is absolutely beautiful with plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained. This was definitely a perfect lake house getaway.

My wife and I had a few days off for a fall break. Dennis' place was a perfect spot. The drive there and the surrounding woods were vibrant with color. The place was comfortable, well-suited for a short or long stay, and was stocked with plenty to do. The short path to the lake is great, and the dock provides a lovely view. We spent hours just sitting on the dock chairs reading. We were fortunate to have beautiful sunny days. We took the short drive into Traverse City to go to Trattoria Stella, one of our very favorite restaurants. We also took a short hike out back to connect to the Mt Minnie trail and thoroughly enjoyed that hike. Being minutes from Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire, and Franfort was a perfect location. Our last evening, we went 15 minutes to Peterson Beach and watched the sun set and stayed to watch all the stars emerge in the darkness. It was amazing! We didn't, but we could have built a fire there on the beach.. We hope to return. Thanks Dennis!

This was an incredible experience. Brenden helped me out when I was in a panic about where to stay after a previous reservation had fallen through. Very easy to communicate with and was very accommodating. The property was beautiful and house was clean. Garage was spacious and rooms were perfect for guests we had. The only bummer was the rain all weekend to not enjoy the outdoors/lake but the company was good! Would highly recommend not only this property but Brenden as a host!

We chose this as a place for papa and his dogs to stay at with our youngest while the rest of us skied at Caberfae Peaks (1 hour drive) and Crystal Mountain (1 hour, 15 minute drive). The cottage felt small but cozy. The outside lighting for walking from the car to the cabin made the place feel safe. The views from the windows were absolutely amazing! There’s a Dollar General within 5 minutes if anything is needed Things that are neither good/bad, just neutral. Just facts that people might like to know: One of the bedrooms has a doorknob that doesn’t lock. The shower is not designed for really tall people. Also, it’s difficult to get the temperature in the shower just right (I had trouble going from lukewarm to burning hot, when I just wanted “hot.”) Overall, a really great stay and would stay again in the future if we’re in the area.

The host was so friendly, the views were beyond stunning. And I found a petoskey!! I wish I had never left!

Angela’s place was amazing! When we walked in, we were in awestruck by how classy the furniture selections and decorating were. Also, this was probably the cleanest Air BNB we have stayed in. Angela was very communicative, and she provided great recommendations for places to dine. We enjoyed the fire pit one evening, with the reflection of the full moon over the bay…so cool! We would love to come back to the area, and this place will certainly be our first choice for places to stay!

We loved the idea of converting an old motel into a more comfortable and spacious place right across from the beach. The bed was comfortable, "living" room space with table, microwave and fridge were just what we needed, and folks we met were very friendly. We'd stay here again!

My partner and I’s stay at Jeffrey and Holly’s suite was outstanding. The space felt incredibly homely, with cozy decor and thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. It was spotless and well-equipped with snacks, coffee, beach amenities, you name it - and we loved using their kayaks for exploring Silver Lake. They were friendly and provided smooth check-in instructions. The price for the area far beats any hotel we could have booked considering how comfortable, clean, and private the unit was. As other reviews said, mechanical noises and footsteps can be heard, but this did not bother us at all. We loved this unit so much, we will probably check the availability for our next trip to TC. This was hands down the best AirBNB we’ve ever stayed at. Highly recommend!

We very much enjoyed our getaway on Stevens Lake. The setting of this house is peaceful, quiet, and perfect for unwinding. We loved listening to the loon on the lake and our son had a great time down by the lake. The house itself was clean and comfortable and more than adequate for our needs. We arrived late at night on a foggy night, but Jane's directions were perfectly clear so we had no trouble locating this out of the way spot. Would highly recommend.

Great spot to stay in Traverse City! it is so close to everything in downtown and only a short drive to other activities. The loft was very spacious and clean. The living area was a great place to cozy up and catch up on netflix. Jeff was super helpful and responded to questions immediately. Will definitely stay here again!

We were in town for a family wedding and this was a perfect location. Could walk to town and other stores were close by. Place was better than expected.

Overall, our stay was fantastic! Abby's place was wonderful! it was tucked away in the woods/forest with the most beautiful landscape view! We thought our little place was a perfect home away from home. It was tucked away in the forest, but Abby's instructions made it easy to find! Also, an extra star for the high end bidet. 🙃

Great place to stay in a great location! Bob was incredibly responsive and they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Nice cabin with a personality. If you can use the pontoon boat and hit the lake, this experience can be unique. Fishing is accessible off the dock, and you can easily catch some bluegills. Network access is limited but you can use the time to catch some old VHS movies. We watched Free Willy after so many years! Overall a nice stay in White Cloud.

The cottage was cute and spotless. The beds were comfortable, including nice sheets and it had everything that we needed. We stayed during the winter so didn’t get to utilize the lake but it’s close to the house and looks like it would be awesome during the summer. It’s only a 17 min drive to Crystal Mtn.

We had a lovely stay! The cottage was so cute and I just loved how they decorated it! We absolutely loved the hot tub and used it every day! We decided to walk down to the beach through all the snow, would love to stay in the summer when we can actually go swimming!! Ate at Peegeos twice during our stay, so close and so good, get the cheesecake! So delicious and made from scratch! We will definitely be back!

Carlie's place is absolutely one of the best vacation rentals I've ever stayed in. The two houses and location are beautiful, and we found ourselves wanting to hang out at her place instead of going to some nearby beaches (which are also great). Carlie provided a lot of great amenities that really hit the mark for us: beautiful dock, paddleboard/kayaks, giant splash pad, firepits, floaties, picnic tables, grills (yes, multiple), s'mores fixings and other treats... All in all it made for a great vacation and I hope we return soon!

One of, if not the cleanest Airbnb we’ve been to. Everything was ready/easily accessible in the home, didn’t have to worry about missing/going out for anything. Area was really quiet and peaceful, however the bedrooms were close to/facing the road where the occasional car could be heard (1-2 cars per night). Overall had a great time staying here, would definitely recommend and possibly rebook in the future.

Sweet space with walkability to a stunning view of Lake Leelanau. Easily able to drive to local “hot spots” like Suttons Bay, Leland, Northport, Glen Arbor and Sleeping Bear Dunes. All the peninsula's wineries and cideries are within a short drive and so are some of the most incredible hiking paths. The space is quaint with everything you might need for a visit. My favorite was the fireplace and the stream just out the front door…the sound of it was delightful. The backyard space is vast and a wonderful place for a bonfire! You’ll enjoy your time here.

The cottage was the perfect location for my getaway weekend with friends! Not only was it serene and quiet, it was picturesque. The location is just outside of Traverse City for those looking to travel there. Inside was cozy and welcoming. The space itself is curated for connection with the big screen movie projector, game room, multiple board games and fully functional kitchen; not to mention it's right on the water with an outdoor shower. The space needed to be warmed with a few space heaters, but there were more than enough to keep us toasty through the chilly evenings. I would gladly come back to the cottage!

Spider Lake Cottage is a gem! Quiet ,peaceful and beautifully decorated. Nikki has truly thought of everything to make the guests' stay PERFECT! The kitchen is well stocked. The view of the lake through the windows is so pretty. Our Lab,Louis loved watching the squirrels and chipmunks in the trees and on the ground. There were also 2 ducks that made a few visits. We came during the early spring so we used the remote controlled fireplace while we read , played games and watched TV. We enjoyed cooking, drinking wine and turning on the twinkle lights at night.
