Our stay at this riverfront Airbnb was everything we could have hoped for and more! The location was perfect—right on the water, making it incredibly easy to fish anytime we wanted. We spent quality time together, catching plenty of fish and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The host was also fantastic, providing great local fishing tips and ensuring we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for the perfect place for a dad-and-sons fishing trip, this is it. We can’t wait to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at the Firefly Cottage. Everything was perfect and the view of the lake is beautiful. We hope to stay next year for our granddaughter’s birthday.

We had such an amazing time at the cottage! We loved the shallow water for the littles and not having to pack beach toys/accessories. The house was well laid out with plenty of space and perfect for a long weekend on the lake. Best of all, Kraig and Suzy were super communicative and we felt very welcome.

This place was awesome. Lots of space in the living room and dining area. Outside space was spectacular, dining area, fire pit and dock. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful and peaceful location! The view, the space, the sleeping capacity and flexibility and the offered amenities within the price point cannot be matched. Would definitely rebook and recommend. Not only just one well stocked kitchen, but two could not be beat! Loved the large dining table in which became the focal point!

We had a great time! And the place was charming and so clean. The lake is beautiful! The beds were comfy and it accommodated all of us well. We will probably be back and will definitely recommend the little red cottage!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl und zuhause gefühlt in diesem schönen Haus. Die Sicht auf den See ist wunderbar! Alles ist da, auch das Badezimmer ist super ausgestattet mit allem, was es braucht. Das Wetter war kalt, aber wir konnten das Haus gut heizen. Gerne wieder!

Nice and quiet. Jesse was very responsive and polite. Would like to come back in the summer sometime and be able to enjoy the water.

Absolutely loved our stay here. All of the amenities were so forward-thinking, meeting our every need. Cozy, beautiful, peaceful—the whole package. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I picked Patricia’s place because of the fun game room she had downstairs-and I’m sure glad we did! Our family of 6 had a wonderful time playing pool, air hockey, shuffle board, ping pong and PINBALL!!! There was also a nice quiet study room upstairs where the kids could still participate in their online classes without missing a beat. Every space was so beautifully decorated and spacious it really felt peaceful. We were visiting in the winter so the cozy propane fireplace was a hit as well. I’d definitely recommend staying here!

We had a funeral, and had 9, plus 2 dogs. We were able to find space to accommodate us all. The space was clean and tidy and very “ lakeside cottage” feel. We wished it hadn’t rained the whole stay. It was very peaceful and tranquil. Overall the beds were comfortable and it was perfect. Well stocked kitchen with dishes ect which was helpful.

Great place to stay. Nice friendly neighborhood and the house is very cozy. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay around Brooklyn.

We couldn’t have asked for a better week at this house! The house was perfect, right on the lake and easy to find. It was clean and had everything we needed. The pedal boat was a huge hit with the kids, and the view of the lake from inside the home was so peaceful. We definitely recommend this house when visiting Michigan. It was a short drive to Ann Arbor and Brooklyn was a nice town to explore as well. We would definitely stay again!

We came up to visit our college student. Close enough to be by everything and far enough away that it feels secluded. The place is amazing and has everything you could need for a stay of any length. Our family loved the garage big screen and pool table. My youngest daughter spent hours on the swing and used the playhouse. Wish we had more time to enjoy it all. Maryssa and Teresa are great hosts. They reached out to us often and made sure we had all we needed. Can’t wait to come back again.

Beautiful Lake view never gets old! Wildlife galore, tons for kids (and adults) to do including incredible Game Room!

Shawna has a very nice Airbnb. Just as described and very roomy for our family of 3. The dog loved the sunporch and so did I. This place must be so nice in the warmer months with the beautiful view and area to swim. Would highly recommend !!!!

Beautiful house, with a wonderful view. The place was spotless and the hosts were great! We loved our stay. Rented the boat, enjoyed the lake. We had a perfect stay! We’ll definitely be back.

I stayed at the cottage on Nettle Lake with four friends for our semiannual board game weekend and reunion. The cottage was very clean (we even joked that we might be the first people to ever stay there!) The kitchen was well-stocked. Some stand-out features were the beautiful sunroom with windows on three sides facing the lake and the great fire pit with a nice paved area around it for hanging out in the evening. There was even some firewood left for us to use. The beds and pillows were all very comfortable. It was the perfect place to enjoy time with friends and take some walks on the nearby county roads. The host was amazing, responding right away to text messages and accommodating all our requests cheerfully. If you're looking for nature immersion, it might not be for you, as there are many other houses close by, but if you're looking for a cute, cozy lake cottage with great hosts, I highly recommend it.

We love the cottage and all it has to offer. We had everything we needed. There was plenty of space… beautiful views, and we really enjoyed our time there with the family. We love Long Lake and plan to return as soon as we are able.

Lovely home and we were completely made to feel very welcome! Everything we could have needed was already provided. Nice welcome binder with lots of helpful information, very friendly and responsive host, comfortable beds and lovely decor. Loved the pond as well as the loaded games, pool table, foos ball table and more. Within minutes of plenty of wonderful things to do. AAAA++++ and highly recommend!
